I might well buy more, but spent a lot on shares last week and also took quite a hit at the same time. You’re right I wouldn’t partner EDL even if I was in a position to !!
But the output figures are so low, they can't fill the orders. What's to like? The southern pit is exhausted, things are moving to the northern pit and they need to set it up and tweak it. It's the heaviest rainy season in ages.
Even you wouldn't buy a few more shares in this let alone invest and partner Edenville?
Sausage
I'm sure that person will be fully informed, and I'd guess will have visited the mine and know (and like) the numbers..
Trouble is (as always) we don't know the up-to-date facts.
I think the next jump will be any partner joining, but I can't see them signing until the green shoots of recovery are seen
Sausage
Over and above what we already know that's surely got to be taken into consideration. I don't expect anything to happen tomorrow, and envisage a few more years yet, BUT a spike could happen anytime. I think the Mining Operation is just a means to an end, and if any money is ever going to be made here it's those 'Other Possibilities' that will bring it imho
Better jam tomorrow than no jam at all !!
All imo pdyor
All that you've said is jam tomorrow aerial. All those things may come true, what is fact is Edenville can't fill the order, the are moving to the northern coal field and will mine when drier
I don't think we should lose sight of the other possibilities (and there are more than one) like The World Bank approved $455 million Interconnecter/transmission infrastructure, the EAPP and the E&SAPG,.....AND the Location of that Projects Termination Point at Sumbawanga which is as we know the Location of Edenville's coal mine and 173million tonnes of proven coal.. Kibo have been re-invited by the TGov to pursue their MCPP with a view to supplying the EAPP, and Edenville are currently, for many reasons, far better placed than Kibo to do that job imho.
All imo pdyor
I agree to a degree.
My personal thoughts taking into consideration what we are currently led to believe is that with the wind in the right direction they are on the verge of breaking-even/going into profit. Although on a shoestring profit is profit, and something very few believe or believed was possible. If they do, I recall a conversation in which it was suggested that they would be unique in Tanzania as a foreign coal miner to achieve that.
I think it will come good big time or go bust. But bobbing along scrapping around for money and coal cannot go on forever.
Not a risk I would be prepared to take. This may never pop, but then again it could pop at any time imho
Not yet, but when time is right
Nothing is going to get better until end of April.
I'll take that as a no then! lo
I have a feeling this will lower before it's higher.
Output can't be ramped up, wet season, moving equipment.
I hope you didn't miss the opportunity to drastically reduce your average if that was your intention.
