I wonder who the major food producer is?
new contracts hopefully!! very good news here
This share will rocket on news...… CEO buying in large amount is a good sign and should not be overlooked.....
GLA
Should have waited before i topped up at 96p. Such a massive drop after CEO Mann acquired significantly more shares. Would have thought this is a good thing but market probably thinks CEO is distracted from running ECSC due to divorce? Thoughts anyone?
Despite increasing security threats, I can't see many people interested in buying into this share when the money markets want such a massive spread !
Not to mention the Russian hacking scandal which has also seen reports this week from GCHQ that 50% of big companies have been hacked by Russian state sponsored actors. There's now a serious co-ordinated effort to prevent hacking. All our cybersecurity firms are going to have to come into play. The only thing holding ECSC back is the same thing holding every cybersecurity firm. Business is loathe to invest unless it has to. That time is now.
compliant but most now have some level of consultancy support arranged. It won't be long before all 50 ECSC new managed services contracts convert to full cover IMHO. At 0.9 million a shot they'll soon be turning a great profit.
Could quickly see this company coming into fashion on the back of this week's Apple / Amazon / China hack scandal.
Mann clearly isn’t up to the job - despite hacks galore they struggle to sign big corporations and the centre in Brisbane looks like a white elephant
September 11th.
When are the results expected for this company ? Should be in September I think ... anyone have a date?
hacking are as bad as ever. Microsoft has called out Russian sites for infiltrating US right wing sites associated with those organisations that have called Trump out and challenged Russian interference in elections. However, their site closures are described as like 'playing whack a mole'. As fast as one site is closed another pops up. Meanwhile at home Hunt has called for greater European oversight to enforce tech regulations aimed at preventing hacking. All good for us. I will buy in again before the end of the month.
We'll see an improvement as we get closer to results I expect- that's the usual pattern.
Whats going on with this? No updates or rns and it keeps sliding
It's like no-one's heard of Russian hacking?
Shows the number of cyberattacks are still going up and too many businesses are reliant on cheap cybersecurity. Yahoo had a £35 million fine for their cyberattack which has hurt their whole business badly. Hackers are targeting supplier chains to get to bigger businesses but if they penetrate those bigger businesses they will still be held liable for the new GDPR fines- 4% of turnover. This is a very good price to get in at right now- ECSC are well placed for good growth. It didn't happen last year because firms are complacent. Once a few more start getting caught that will change fast.
Sounds v positive. 50 new consultancy client offering potential for developing these relationships for fuller managed support in the near future. Dixons latest hack will be expensive even if it happened pre GDPR- Yahoo got a £250K fine. News coverage will happen closer to the time of the crime going forwards because of GDPR reporting requirements. The public will start to demand better protection too.
We will have to wait and see but after that time developing it I would like to think it can do something haha
Kingsandqueens - formally launching the new KEPLER Cyber Security Artificial Intelligence (AI) product at today's Infosecurity Europe show in Olympia London until Thursday, 7 June. Question is does it work and how many clients will take it up...
The spread is actually 1.11-1.18 and the high today was 1.27 according to 4 traders. Don't know what's wrong with LSE- can't give an accurate picture of the spread or the sp half the time.
Brilliant news this is the forefront of cyber security. DYOR
another cyber security group to watch is Shearwater Group (SWG)
It will come once we start getting serious coverage of hacking
Not much activity/news here with ECSC...would have thought there would be more noise with GDPR now live.
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/data-protection-act-2018-overview Here's the link to the UK government factsheet on GDPR for convenience of private investors. Fines of 17million pounds or 4% of turnover (whichever is the largest) will be levied on firms who get hacked without adequate protection of consumer data.
