Jack the bear ...you cant compare ggp to ecr and that's a fact . So far CB has produced nothing , and that's a fact .A falling share price doesnt lie , and that's a fact .If you believe in ECcr then fill your boots . I dont , and the reason I dont is because of factual history .Not because of its buts and maybes . Deeds are proven , words are not .
Cant compare the two. We also have a mcap at a minute fraction of GGPs ofcourse we cannot expect to have what they have. What we do have though is a very low cash burn and own equipment which we are likely to spend on. Even if these results were not as good as some were hoping they cost us very little to get. We have loads and loads to drill. Crewick and its potential JV has always been the anticipated rns that will take this to the moon anyway!
i was suggesting maybe we should all email to try and encourage at least an interview, too many unanswered questions
JS Smith if you can't even research the companies email address it is difficult to take you seriously as an investor
Jack the bear ... greatland gold sp isnt falling ? It fell 50% on the strength of Scally and a few other factors .This sp has fallen 65% as a pose to ggps 50% .But ggp have a resource and they had a good CEO. We here have neither .
Are we not forgetting about all these new shares that are currently being printed?? This is the reason for the drop imo, not mediocre results from the first 2 months of a 24 month drilling programme.
Said it before and I'll say it again, CB is a Salesperson like most CEO's. His integrity might be dropping in the eyes of PI's but does he really care? I'd hazard the guess it would be a no.
Ggpthruandtru...absolute nail on the head there mate . People saying that they arent aware that CB promised anything ?? Lol .CB has made many statements that intimated the complete opposite of the facts . Jv imminent , fully funded , and constantly convincing us that we were onto something special. Up to today he has produced Jack shayte !! .The communication here , and results so far have , in the past 4 months been deplorable . People can argue all they like .No substance and a falling share price dont lie ??
Maybe not 'promising' but perhaps the repeated references to Fosterville .. and "our grades are better etc" need to be reigned in going forward
in that case a second digger is a must, due to the vast amount of area involved
I think it takes them roughly 2 weeks to complete 1 hole
Well, for starters DJWall I’ve been in GGP since 2017 and no one was saying things like this about them back then because Gervaise was never seen to be “playing” us with his words.
And also, it’s not about being an explorer or a miner. We don’t mind waiting and we don’t mind being told about delays or problems (at least I don’t) as long as you’re genuine. CB has clearly not been.
a comment from CB, the drill will be turning and constantly drilling ,so why only 6 holes so far?
Lochranzalad,
Everything you've said someone once said about GGP in the early days. Before stuff started going right.
This either will or won't. But it's no good getting emotional, business doesn't care about your feelings. Either see it as a buying op for the future, hold and wait, or ship out and look for something that's better suited. Because it'll be the same over and over again on AIM miners until we hit something of real use. On the plus side, the drillbit will keep turning and more results will come.
But what can they do? Been thinking of this all day
Besides:
-confirming the JV
- Buying a secondary drill
It's back to the drawing board. We still have 1or2 assays from holes to come in, is that correct? but beyond that, MIDAS may be on its travels across Bailleston to test for new mineralisation? Assays in 2 months? who knows
Hoping StockBox catch a quick 10 minutes with him
I don't recall CB 'promising' anything.
what's the company email address? all holder should demand answers from CB!
I believed in this company and its CEO until very recently. But there has been a degree of groundless blagging from Craig Brown here .Talk of being on the cusp of a JV , stating that we were fully funded and then doing a placing .Being very bullish and confident with his interview presentations , but it seems today , and since the start of the year that investors have been promised much and got back very little .This is not opinion , ITS FACT !! You cannot invest in a company where you are consistently promised one thing and are given another .We have been deceived by the CEO, wether you like it or not , WE HAVE !! I have zero faith in what Craig Brown has to say in the future and for that reason I'm out .As a shareholder for almost a year I also have the right to vent my frustrations too .The people who bought in high are the ones who I feel sorry for .They weren't given what they were led to believe they would receive, ( eg , the placing and lack of any substantial news other than hot air ) .You cannot make bold statements and promises and still expect people to believe in you and your wares .It just wont happen .The grades were ok and maybe things will turn around here but the crux of the matter to me is the deception from the CEO. If you cannot trust what the CEO alludes to then you cannot trust the company , END OF !! I hope that the ones who are well underwater can get some good news in the future , grades are one thing , but continuation is another . Today was the final straw for me , I was convinced that we had the right man in charge with Craig Brown , but in the last 4 months he has proved that he has little regard for company / investor relations .He has also shown that what he says , and what then happens is often very different. Good luck to everyone here and if the company turns things around then fair play .Today , and over the last 4 months , the market has shown what it thinks of Ecr minerals .A 65% drop in price since January tells it's own story !! Words are one thing , but deeds are most certainly another !!
I was buying these at 0.8 and 0.9. Luckily I sold some at 3p and 3.6p. These are not great or what the mkt wanted. I see 1p here soon. At least they raised cash. But the mkt seems a bit bored with this type of company that has done little enough in years.
Underwhelming is the right word. Dilution and no real progress.
He did extremely well to get the ÂŁ2m placing at 2.2p, right before he dropped the Assays.
at least they're 2fully funded" moving forward
Im not a get rich quick investor, gonna be here for as long as it takes, ideally to see a mine produced. Im ok with the results, it is what it is, we invested in an exploration company who may or may not find gold, we found some so thats good to work on.
I am definately not ok with the way CB has pumped and dumped this, im half my money down after 4 months in, I dont like being lied to and what is this extra 2m being spent on at our expense? Me and my bro joked at the time of all the interviews saying it sounds like he’s making it all up on the spot but Im beginning to think we were right.
For me his only excuse is its all part of a jv deal (nd/funding) otherwise he’s just a crook who’s had all our pants down.
Gla
rich** :)
There's already proven gold at both, how much? Who knows
Creswick is huge and they've drilled what? 1,700m
Far far far more work to get through before understanding what kind of resource is in the ground there, and Bailleston for that matter.
From what I've read through on previous RNS', the grades are good, but not blockbusting. Blue moon returned 17g/t over 1m, Creswick 44g/t over 1m but then they drop.
Empire metals have the Eclipse project. their market cap is significantly lower and by what i can see, the grades they've returned are better
24m @ 1.44 g/t Au from 46m downhole
5m @ 6.50 g/t Au from 26m
14 m @ 1.70 g/t Au from 9m
3m @ 21.96 g/t gold ('Au') from 45m (including 1m @ 56.9 g/t Au)
Not the worlds best assays, but all at very shallow depths and perfect for an open pit mine. The point being, they're expecting to release a JORC estimate soon which will be <100,000 Oz.
From what I've seen, the company are still some time off releasing any JORC estimates which will be a real driver in getting Bailleston noticed. Maybe a JV here as well would be a good move, relocate MIDAS to Tambo South/North as and when they're announced. He seems to have a good team in place I'm just trying to add the pieces together as we recieve them.
Still very encouraged long term which is why I've added nicely to my SIPP, but short term I'm not so sure. This may be a blessing in disguise, if it chasers away the "get rick Quick" investors so fail to see the bigger picture
There may well be astonishing grades but drilling them and magically hitting the right spot is very difficult when you cannot see underground. That's why drilling is trial and error. It's actually harder than it looks.
AG1989 - agreed that CB needs to have a strategy that will lift sentiment. At present, I think this can only come from either the JV, or drilling at some of the more exciting prospects, or details of what the ramp up actually entails (e.g. a second drill). Therefore, an interview from CB is very much needed. If the JV discussions remain intact, that is something CB could confirm to us in much the same way as he has been doing in the last few months. Equally, if we are not proceeding with the JV (for whatever reason), that is also something that I think he needs to come out with, and we can get it out of the way. The silence is only going to make investors nervous about it, as has been the case recently.
I've taken the opportunity of adding today, but would appreciate hearing from CB about recent events, and to give us something to continue looking forward to here.
When's the next CB interview?
Wasn't there meant to be astonishing grades as these two sites are rich in gold resources?
