The sector is over sold, but also ECR have had a sizeable overhang to clear, and news so far hasn't done that.
Now we see Colin Braidwood taking a huge chunk of those warrant shares, and bingo the overhang is effectively gone.
Now we should see the SP move up on speculation alone to maybe £30m mkt cap or 3p.
Obviously news will drive this over coming months.
IMHO, how much of someone's investment seems a huge number or just pocket money is just very subjective.
700k is obviously a sizable amount for most, but I am sure that some here have 6 digits invested here even if it's not reportable amounts and they don't boast about it.
On my side, assuming that the company delivers, I can see eventually see a price north of 20p.
ECR's negative price performance this year is at least partially correlated with the rest of the juniors and explorations companies segment. The entire segment has gone from overbought around October 2020 to oversold now, and there are some signs that the cycle might restart soon. On general sentiment alone, ECR could easily be lifted up to 2/2.5p.

Wouldn’t Surprise If A Few More Opened Their Hands Up ...
Look at many Aim companies .sp flat as a pancake for years , then as they develop , " Bang " . Up she goes .You can see a lot of that type of action if you look back 5 years at a company Sp .Ggp , omi , dev clever, jangada mines, etc etc .Takes a while for the projects to slot into place .I believe this company has a chance .I know it's a slow laborious process but look at what they have done this year .They " believe " fully that they are going to be mining many a resource, not just one .I'm not bothered how long it takes .I am bored stiff with the price action here but on the strength of what they doing , I believe theres serious action afoot .might be a year or so but I'm in and I'm staying in till I reach my target .I would be sick as a chip if it explodes. Its defo worth a punt at this level . It wont always be boring here .That's for sure .
Been in here since clayson the imposter days, a law man that new how to rape this company for his gain and legally walk away now we have Craig Brown, i have total confidence in the man and his team
For myself I’ve bought <1 was 600% up and then kept buying at the highs, again and again in 2’s and now 1’s leaving me underwater but not too far off the placing price. But honestly don’t care because i think ECR are on track and will hold it back up through the 2’s, 3’s, 4’s and beyond. Continuously buying through this stage of the company development just means building a position until the real action starts. I think the real action starts in 2021, hopefully from the next RNS. Inching closer, slowly the fundamentals are strengthening and as such a bargain…. Over long enough time horizon all the little mistakes will get papered over with gold foil
hiinvestor
I was fortunate to start my investment journey post covid crash. Got a couple of bargains and the whole sector was buzzing. There were many companies doing random 100/200% from nowhere. A lot bought into the spike and I made numerous top ups along the way.
Agree with your researching part of your post. It’s so vital but even the markets sometimes have a mind of their own. Do you research and if you feel comfortable if the future operations and growth of the company, sit back and let it play out.
If you can, average down but not everyone has the luxury of having available capital to do so. A fair few under water here but also quite a few with a sub 1p average from last summer.
Plenty going on. Enough to bring this back to life, let’s hope the assays deliver and compliment the recent action taken from the company
HII you literally bought the hype and not the investment case then. I suspect if you sell now there’s another lesson to be learned but WTFDIK
We Now Have A .......44,000,000 ....Believer On Board ..... Big Heads Up IMo
What you mean HII, is that you bought on a spike, and now your head is scrambled because you are underwater.
Maybe do some more due diligence and ask yourself why the company is acting like they know they have a resource.
Top up down here is my advice.
Unfortunately I have 300,000 shares invested. This was my investment mistake, we all have them on our journey. Jumped in on hype, without doing proper DD. Painful but good lesson. I certainly wouldn’t touch it with a barge pole now. Some folks in my position would ramp to try increase sp to minimise loss and get out. I don’t want to do that, would prefer to share my lesson would encourage people to make sure they research properly before parting with hard earned money. I watched an interview with Rick rule where he was describing the penny dreadfuls, lifestyle boards taking a wage and delivering very little in terms of a resource.
Sound familiar?
His Companies House listing has his business described as -Environmental consulting services.
I suppose if you operate in that `environment` then you are likely to have a higher level insight in to the what, where and why of the best areas to find gold.
If you want to find elephants you have to go to elephant country.
Not invested blind is he ?

It is definitely Colin Braidwood director of energy abc limited based in Devon. Now why would you make such a large and on the surface of it blind investment?
I would suggest that you don't buy any then Hl, if those are your thoughts I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole , good luck elsewhere.
What is the investment thesis for ECR?
How and what would the companies valuation be today?
What can you point to that is in direct control of ecr board which provides confidence they will succeed?
I see lots of sound bites and PR but very little else to give me confidence this company is going anywhere.
I’d like to see the board have significant skin in the game and buy large stock position in the company. Shouldn’t be a problem if they genuinely believe they have a economically viable mineable resource.
Well done Colin, we're with you all the way , bring on the results ,
He has already hidden his followers MAN , you are correct and an oversight by him perhaps lol , if Colin reads the board and I'm sure he does then I hope he is laughing about it .
Good on you Colin you perked up a few depressed holders , well, until Monday at least ;)
LO.
you are right social media reveals so much and so easy to find , but if you make things public what do you expect where there is money involved , people will find out who's investing in the stocks they are interested in as they nmay see them as influencers
Maybe Colin will delete his twitter account now as I suspect that he reads this board, social media eh, no privacy?
Italian Think you ve nailed it looks like he follows lots of mining companies on his twitter page maybe a little bird has been chirping some thing to encourage this move
