.... If there is a JV in Victoria (in the interview I am sure Andrew was hitting at a distinct possibility of one) the SP will rocket
Hi Paul , you are either a trader investor or both
And good luck to all !!
I see an opportunity put a chunk in a follow it through 2 to 5 yrs here
From this point
I loved the interview and topping upS and when I can
Blue moon JV gonna make Bitcoin rich
At
I watched the interview as an impartial observer - having sold out of ECR back when it was at the dizzy heights of 1.75p.
I thought the new CEO was pretty straight down the line and someone who would just say it like it was rather then worry about pumping things. My impression was also that he was looking at asset disposals including the properties given his cryptic comments around how he sees interest rates and corresponding property values going in Australia - no bad if he can accomplish some sort of sale and leaseback arrangement whilst booking a little profit too. I don't see any advantage to hanging on to the Philippines either.
But on the comments raised about being spread too thin, I definitely came away with this feeling also. I mean you don't see many majors with as many active projects let alone minnow explorers. I would not be surprised to see him, after trying to add value, relinquish some of these too, possibly through JVs or outright sales.
The 2-5 years comment is valid. I mean that's only par for the course in this segment of the sector. The problem is with ECR the 2-5 yrs horizon seems to have been a rolling time horizon for years.
I've been keeping an eye on ECR with a view to buying back in sometime. Sadly that time has not arrived, yet. Will keep an eye on asset sales, cash burn, and to see where this CEO wants to concentrate his exploration efforts.
I've put a poll up on twitter to see what the market thinks regards to the interview
This might help get more or less out the company in future:

MM's happy to snap up stock though, getting above bid quotes for decent volume. I suspect those who liked the interview or saw the value added will be buying at these prices.
It was as expected really. Lots and lots of build up for a pretty mediocre interview, classic ECR. I think Andrew Scott realised this was the case when he tweeted about the need for more regular bitesize updates yesterday, which I appreciated.
Less prime rib, more last night's lamb shank. We really didn't learn anything new except for perhaps the antimony data collecting and AH's ambition to find a giant at QL. New info needs an RNS though so I understand it was never going to be an interview full of nuggets (pardon the pun).
Solid news needed indeed.
Am surprised at the backlash regarding it being a underwhelming interview. Clearly it was way below what anyone wanted and even expected. It’s fine to argue a point guys but let’s not get blinkered. There was literally nothing new in that interview and it seems the market didn’t like it either. We need substantial news now that moves us forward, not the usual potential spiel. It was not a good interview unfortunately. Still happy to hold and will give AH at least 6-12 months to prove himself.
No worries Gino, I've learnt a lot from your posts across various boards etc, so no offence intended.
As I understand it there will be more interviews.
People - leave Gino alone. He has been frank and honest. I am pleased that he has stayed the distance. Let's see him rewarded for his patience!!
I never said the share proce was 79p ffs.....I said my average was.
You are correct it was 79p after consolidation........based on today's prices that's what it would be the equivalent of.
Honest to christ, I put the post up as one of my original posts
I have taken an average down from 79p amto 2p. It was slightly below 2p prior to the 4p hit.
Go look through my post if you don't believe me I've nothing to hide
I found the interview generally positive. My impression was that Andrew thought ECR was spread far too thinly across its various assets and he intends to focus on the areas with greatest potential. This makes a lot of sense.
...There was also talk of hitting Queensland full on from July, so a few months way...
Yet another imminent short term positive.
When did the share price get to 79p?
Well there we are.. The market reaction to Andrew's LONG AWAITED interview is negative. After a night to reflect, I think two things have stood out to me as to why people weren't overly impressed -
1. The first proper interview, hello, nod to investors was NOT VIDEO. Watching Andrew speak with just a low resolution Jpeg to look at was weak IMO. Video's are so much more psychologically effective, particularly when conveying a bullish message. I'd much rather have waited another few days and had a proper video interview. Every other company do it!
2. 2-5 years was mentioned as Andrew's vision to grow ECR into a World Class company (or hope to).. This includes developing Victoria resources and hunting for an elephant in Queensland. Investors have clearly read this as 'nothing's going to happen for 2-5 years' which is patently incorrect as they are ABOUT to hit Blue Moon (arguably our most exciting prospect in Victoria), potentially get game changing licenses that cover more of the DMS, assays due back from HR3 that could complete Adam's 'exciting' anticline model to develop a resource from. THESE WERE MISSED from the interview! There was no mention (or question for that matter - C'mon Scott!) about what we can expect SHORT TERM.. Andrew Scott knows the market is fickle, investors have seen 2-5 years , rolled their eyes, and sold..
Please correct the above ECR.
From a frustrated but overall positive Holder!
Doesn't take away from the fact my average was 79p....I mean ffs guys it's not a lie
It's never been higher than 4p in the last 10 years.
I've been in 10 years.
Look at the RNS - 79p is a retrospective artefact of the consolidation.
Discussed to death here a while ago
There you go bear.....shows you how long I've been invested here.
I've seen more interviews around ecr... and it's the same old stuff.
Time for action, otherwise its another dead duck
Never seen ECR at 79p?
Listened to the interview and money needed and 2 to 5 years mentioned.
Worth a listen to the following where ECR mentioned.
Alan Green gives sum of the parts valuation of POW at the show.. Starts at 26 mins in

Crikey guys - I thought I had a grim average at 4p - good luck to you.
Gino,
Your bravery is indeed commendable. I have been averaging down from 50p and now am sitting at 18p as I no longer can afford to bring it down any further. So many false dawns over the years that I now take everything with a pinch of salt. Hopefully one day this share will recover sufficiently for me to sell and buy a fish supper to put the salt on!
You have been a brave person Gino to have averaged down from 79 p to 2 p. Putting my position aside I hope that the SP recovers to enabling you at least to get out of trouble. I can understand your feelings.
Dara
At one point I had a 79p average.......yeah.....that'll tell you the journey I have been on with ECR. As I said I'm on my 3rd CEO.
Look I'd love to be as excited as most of you appear to be, but this needs rns with bumper grades. 12g at 0.5m is dog turd.......the market don't care about the geology drilling acrossand through......down the throat is what will get this moving.
It really is time they start delivering but this is a mega slow burner......the longer it take more we lose with dilution. Its their only option
AIM ain't what it used to be....high risk low reward and over the same time line as ftse growth. Tbh I think that's what I'm getting fed up with more.
Thanks for that AS01, good reminder that they aren’t just making it up as they go along ha
Cost of the Queensland drilling has already been factored in if you review the Final Results RNS
"Lolworth Range Gold Project
In May 2021, exploration licences for tenements EPM27901, EPM27902 and EPM27903 were applied for by ECR Minerals’ subsidiary company LUX Exploration Limited (LUX). The tenements are located within the Lolworth Range area, North Queensland. The area has been closely monitored by ECR’s Head Geologist Adam Jones for at least eight years and is considered prospective for gold. The exploration licences for all three areas were granted to LUX on 1 February 2022. The tenements will expire in five years (on 31 January 2027) and, while they will be available for renewal after the initial 5-year term, the area available for renewal will be reduced by 50%, which is a standard term of exploration licences to encourage companies to focus their exploration activities.
LUX has a commitment expenditure of AUD$650,000 for the first three years across the three licence areas, which is expected to be funded from ECR’s existing cash resources."
