Not a lot of action on this BB generally is there! Surprised not more interest in this company, I bought a chunk about three months back and results since (allowing for Covid) seem pretty solid. Still waiting for the US explosion but it seems to be ticking along nicely, TfL contract renewal in the UK was good news too. One to tuck away and look at again in a year perhaps.
I don't expect much action in the sp until we get more news. Hopefully, at the AGM on 16th Sept, they will surprise us with an announcement of a huge new contract win or that booming business in the US, plus the significant increase in demand for Call Guard Remote that we have been told of, has brought in so much cash that, even with prudence still being a major consideration, they can pay a dividend.
Not long to wait until the 16th Sept.
Since the RNS came out late on Friday, in case anyone missed it -
https://www.eckoh.com/investors/financial-reports/annual-reports
Link to the report - https://www.eckoh.com/investors/financial-reports/annual-reports/408-annual-report-2020-web/file
Taken from the Annual Report -
Both of these on page 51 of the report -
Profit for the financial year - 2019 - £945,000. 2020 - £3,136,000.

Another RNS today - the RNS about the Annual Report comes out at 16:25 on a Friday afternoon.
Is it just me who finds that odd?
I noticed some large sales -

Referring to yesterday's post and the Investopedia article - "This typically occurs during a period of consolidation before the price continues a prior trend or reverses into a new trend." Go the charts page and click on '2Y' and we can see that this going continue the prior trend (up!).
Looking at the prior trend and the rising channel of higher highs and higher lows, I think we need to hit 75p fairly soon to get back inside that channel.
As i have said, I am not an expert on TA, so do we have anyone with greater knowledge who can tell us how the chart playing out over the next month to three moths? Thanks.
See my previous posts about the sp settling into a sideways trend. I think it shows best on the 2Y chart.
"What is a Sideways Trend?
A sideways trend is the horizontal price movement that occurs when the forces of supply and demand are nearly equal. This typically occurs during a period of consolidation before the price continues a prior trend or reverses into a new trend.
...
Volume, which is an important trading indicator, mostly remains flat during a sideways trend because it is equally balanced between bulls and bears. It shoots up (or down) sharply in one direction, when a breakout (or breakdown) is expected to occur.

My bet is on it resuming the up trend.
I've long wondered why Capita don't just make a takeover bid for ECK and have done with it? -- I expect ECK to eventually be a takeover target, but I don't want a takeover until it hits 150p.
Or has a friend in low places!
I've long wondered why Capita don't just make a takeover bid for ECK and have done with it?
ECK very complementary to Capita's business.
whoever bought £37K worth yesterday was very lucky.
Just found this, and although as yet nothing to connect ECK, no doubt the persons that will be running sections of the project mentioned, will be looking for payment, call center systems, so might just look at ECK through today's contract announcement.
Transport for the North (TfN) has today set out its initial plans for a £5bn Northern Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP), a 30-year investment plan of infrastructure projects to underpin greener Northern growth.
This includes rail, road, active travel and smart ticketing proposals; some of which could be started over the next six to 18 months to help the economy recover from the pandemic, and create around 20,000 construction and design jobs in the North of England.
The NIP underpins TfN’s proposed Economic Recovery Plan (ERP) recently agreed by the North’s business and civic leaders.
Today is the announcement of the first tranche of 166 projects that could help create job opportunities immediately.
As today's RNS indicates faith in the reliability and security of the ECK system, surely that must put the company in line for consideration.
Significant UK Contract Win

Will this be enough to send it shooting up, as I have been talking about on here. 85p might be a bit too ambitious, but I see 75p soon as not beyond all possibilities.
Nice little repeat/extension contract.
With the big increase in the use of cards for payment, I expect to see a few more before year end.

That's cheered me up. I hope they've got inside information ;-)
We need a trading update to kick off the next rising channel.
Sorry for stating the obvious, but I need to vent my frustration at the stalled sp. This should be 85p by now.
More on the subject -
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8575345/Survey-finds-half-office-staff-work-home-rest-summer.html
I'm getting a bit worried about the chart. It has broken out of the rising channel with a sideways horizontal move.
At least it hasn't slumped to go lower than the last low in the zig-zag up the channel, so I don't think this sideways move totally negates the pattern.
So I'm not too worried by the current situation, but if we don't, soon, get an announcement bringing good news to lift it back inside the channel, then who knows?
Hopefully this will boost sales of Call Guard Remote and send the ECK share price higher, and since we are going to be hit with a massive increase in taxation to pay off the debt, hopefully ECK will pay an increased dividend - that will help us to pay the extra tax.

I have just come across this article, see below. It is my dream that, tomorrow, we get an RNS from ECK telling us that ebay is using ECK's payment system and ECK will be getting a whacking great fee plus recurring revenues.
"Ebay Will no Longer Using Paypal For Transactions"
https://www.investmentwatchblog.com/ebay-will-no-longer-using-paypal-for-transactions/
Please note that I cannot vouch for the accuracy of the information in that article, so please DYOR.
This tips ECK to hit 68p in a year and 85p in five years.
https://walletinvestor.com/lse-stock-forecast/eck-stock-prediction
I can't see 85 taking that long, nor 68p taking a year.
I normally try to stick to realistic comments, but the way ECK's payments system is winning awards and the recent news about Call Guard Remote have me doing a bit of blue sky dreaming.
Based on nothing but my hunch - the bigger players, such PayPal and Visa, want the technology and, in the not-too-distant future, a takeover bid at 150p. You heard it here first.
Within 43seconds £7.2m was bought - I expect a Tr1 will follow in a day or two.
Wow, I just noticed those buys into close Friday...
Anyone got any info on Fridays trades - £3 million buy (4,628,499 shares), £3 million buy (5,600,000 shares) plus a couple of other buys of over £500,000.
