I sold a chunk and took a heavy loss a while back and have conveniently chosen to never remember that ever again. The losses on the remaining are still eye-watering but I'm much happier when I pretend they're my only losses!
I want to eat humble pie on this one, I cannot even remember what my break even was, 11p, 12p or even 16p.
I personally think the second TA drill wont be until the end of the year.
there main aim will be to increase production as quick as possible. PA will be there next priority and production will be able to come online quicker than TA.
It would be great to go into TA drill on a high after a 60-70bcf discovery on PA! Then things can change very quickly!
Johnny 1949, 4p this year?? Surely depending on results we will be 4p minimum if PA well is a commercial discovery! I'm hoping we don't have to wait until December for test results! I see news on increased production very soon along with resumption of PA well test and I would expect very soon to hear about 2nd TA location and planned spud date! We are nearly in H2 and I don't believe for one minute that the 2nd well location isn't already known by CGC and ECHO.
Thanks. Yep, I've got no illusions with Echo...a large job to be done by a real management team to save a lot of shareholders bacon here, mine included.
Ridiculously talking about £1. a share here is, well, ridiculous.
Anyone would think Parsons was involved. Lol. You rampers really need to calm down a bit. Let's wait in increments of tenths of a penny first.
I think for most 10p would be an excellent result on this one.
we need end of year figures, then first 6 month figures to identify how the cost cutting and turning the business to a cash plus will look on paper.
if it looks decent that will bring a bit more confidence back to echo.
no jinx intended nor a party ! ecstatic with 4p in a couple of months just mentioning how big ta could be.
19%
1 TCF works out at around £200 million to echo.
Slow and steady wins the race with this one.
We know what has happened in the past when "the £1 party" has been mentioned....
enough to breach £1 a share :) easy
I've forgotten - what ownership share is Echo left with in TA?
IMO the share price is a nonsense at this level. I’ve bought in and will stay for the medium/long term. I may add on any further weakness,
Marmie
Just had a look on the website again ! ta is potentially a life changing monster :) yes please early retirement to my own 10 acre Forrest will do very nicely thank you lol
as has been said before on here the sp is ridiculously low ! i see no reason why 3p shouldn't be a base to push on from once trust in the bod returns ! Good start made but charm offensive needs the bod to be a little pro active re news to reassure new investors ! all imho etc
with the plane workovers and PA testing to be complete as a priority I would expect a better return on the sp if the results are good.
workovers will add value regardless. there planning to add around 10 workovers at the moment.
they should be looking at around 50 bbpd.
10x50 = 500 per day. 500 x 30 days = 15,000. 15,000 x $45 = $675,000 per month, $8,100,000 per annum gross.
not a bad return just on workovers alone.
Surely in the short term 2p is realistic considering the fixed price Argentine energy and the winter coming ,also revenue news and more exploration news must be imminent .The fall over the last 2-3 years has been dramatic but I have a 4p target for this year imo DYOR
would be very welcome indeed. Whist i see a significant re rate on news inertia will not be healthy for the sp. The hard work done bod now do the pr and get the news machine fired up. gla
