That would make sense Newuncle.
I expect it would licenced to them?
If the China Resources deal became a 'stand alone business' akin to what Open Orphan have done with Poolbeg, would the technology associated with the water monitoring contract with China be sold off as part of the deal (or held within that contract ). Poolbeg is a spin off of a 'non core' part of the Open Orphan business and thus lends itself to being a stand alone business. Water monitoring is a 'core' part of DeepVerge and probably has more value in a world wide application. Just the musings of an enthusiastic investor who is trying to get his head around what could happen. Very, very exciting times for DeepVerge.
Bemm,
What a great idea, I would be there. I too have most of my SIPP in here (closer to 90% though). Of course it didn't start off like that but having been in SKIN and MWG and seen the % returns to date they delivered it meant that DVRG became a huge part of my SIPP....happy days.
Newuncle, I'll add this from another ORPH RNS - mention of AI data analysis platforms:
" "Poolbeg's approach to asset development should result in good licensing opportunities and excellent returns in a relatively short period of time with substantially less risk than the traditional biotech model and allow for regular investor newsflow. In addition, in Poolbeg we have assembled a leading management team, generated an exciting pipeline of potential acquisitions and entered advanced discussions with leading AI data analysis platforms to increase the attractiveness of the Company and its offering. Thus, I am confident and excited in the Company's prospects going forward and will be personally investing alongside incoming investors as part of the potential IPO."

Soon will need to be quoting top 50...
@gjbrandon
Replying to @Labskin, @skintrustclub and @DeepVerge
As I said on the @DeepVerge on the @Katie_Proactive interview today, @Labskin is rocking along delivering on another level to last year. What a team?

What will the expansion in Cork make possible?
New AI centre of excellence in Cork
Irish headcount, based on growing demand, expected to triple in 2021 adding up to 60 new hires for roles in data science, physics and epidemiology

likewise, i have no agenda. I believe in the company i have invested 45% of my SIPP for 18 months and im holding for the big gains. In 2 years when we have made a packet i propose a DV reunion/help group in some **** hotel eating beige food and wearing ISE username badges - even Muggins is invited - first round on me (I recon Chesh is a party animal )
Bemm,
You are very welcome and btw there is no such thing as a stupid question, only stupid people who can't or won't appreciate why posters comment here and their contributions to the community. Some here are obsessed with seeing their posts upticked or criticising others instead of actually adding something to the discussion but then that's pretty much a reflection of society in general and why we don't have a perfect police force or perfect politicians, some just use social media to vent or bully others if they don't like or agree with what they read. Me, I prefer to at least give others the benefit of the doubt (most of the time anyway).
NewUncle much appreciated, every day on here is a day at school... cheers buddy
Or for a more generic explanation take a look at this:

Bemm,
Could be enormous. I have copied a link form ORPH below who are demerging parts of their business, it's just so you can see why companies do this kind of thing, not a spam by me of another company before anyone jumps down my throat here. It might help provide some useful understanding that's all.

really basic/stupid question but a separate company on HK stock exchange presumably the value of this would still come under the DVRG group and benefit our SP?
Barda,
I agree and Gerry has already said in the interview, the JV will now be able to address the whole of China and not the regions they originally had in mind. Clearly the value of delivering to China as whole is far greater than had been previously planned for so the bigger valuation could easily justify a HK listing which could raise many £millions going forwards. I am still amazed at just what Gerry has achieved in a very short space of time here across the board (not just the water side). One day the market will finally wake up and see just what is happening here and massive potential DVRG has.
Or CR buy the Modern Water division. A real possibility imo.

I believe the two companies Deepverge and China Resources are forming a company together which is listed directly on the stock exchange afterwards. Revenue 51/49 in favor of China Resources could still be in play.
let us be surprised by this
Great interview with Gerry on proactive. When he says the joint venture has moved to a 'different mechanism to satisfy all of China with a single entity... as with all of these types of deals there are valuation issues as to how we actually put a valuation model in place which satisfies both sides'
Can anyone hazard a guess as to what kind of deal we're talking?
