" Medical devices are used in many diverse settings, for example, by laypersons at home, by paramedical staff and clinicians in remote clinics, by opticians and dentists and by health-care professionals in advanced medical facilities, for prevention and screening and in palliative care. Such health technologies are used to diagnose illness, to monitor treatments, to assist disabled people and to intervene and treat illnesses, both acute and chronic."

@T-rat the BT remains still in development mode as part of the digital health sector for multiple biomarkers and not part of COVID-19 only deployment. Resources are very much geared to current commercial scaling, but rest assured it is part of the growth mix of equipment to be rolled out, as a medical device.
gjbrandon, a gentle reminder a BT update is due...:
Microtox® BT
The Microtox® BT equipment was also re-designed to deliver a portable, mobile testing unit to process breath tests at point of care. The established test protocols have been carried out at Labskin from test subjects provided by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland for the early prototype and secured positive results. Regulatory approvals for human diagnostic equipment is evaluated on test equipment that will be used on humans. Therefore, roll out of the breath test is subject to meeting the satisfactory requirements of EU Regulatory approvals which will be carried out on the latest version of the Microtox® BT units. Further information on this will be provided in H1 2022.

Thanks T-rat, not sure how I missed that!
gjbrandon...'This is £3m for Modern Water only in China and Sth Asia, which is also only one division in one quarter, Q2 (3 month period).'
Gerry you say these orders only relate to one of Modern Waters divisions (China and Sth Asia)...can we assume the 'knock on effect' should now be felt across their other divisions...other potential clients may feel more confident in following suit having seen tier 1 companies jumping in...
I know this isn't related but have you completely dropped affimers...
Finally, congratulations to all involved...
It’s on the website under Publications.

And good news re the orders! Keen to see and be able to vote on resolutions so a little odd these have not been uploaded soon after the annual report was.
Hi GB, when will the form of proxy be issued?
Just a hunch, but based on the below it's quite possible that more news/sales/numbers will be released by the AGM date in 2 weeks.
DYOR, GLA
@sipps No distributor buys £1m+ of product to stock. They are local tier 1 partners in their respective markets who have clients for the units.
Just like to reiterate what @dingdong mentioned. This is £3m for Modern Water only in China and Sth Asia, which is also only one division in one quarter, Q2 (3 month period). The entire sales for 2020 for 12 months was £4.4m.
Apology excepted LBT........!
you must try harder..........! :()
All the best (ha ha.......! :)
Chesh,
I must apologise my friend - I said yesterday that "big things are coming in July"
I was wrong about the start..by one day!! :))))))
LTB.........!
I agree it's a positive, from the RNS "opening up a very large new vertical worldwide market for the Modern Water division.".....!
All the best (vertical....! :()
2020 revenue totalled £4m.
Q2 orders for one arm of the business in 2022 is £3m
Unofficial target of £20m+ revenue looks possible. If MW can bring around £10m to the table then its over to STC and labskin to bring in the rest. Certainly possible
should close much higher
orders for current year. So, about 6mln for H1, quite realistic to say 13-14 mln for Full Year?
And this is just one part of DVRG business.
Sipps mentioned "stock distributors" as a negative - I think it's a positive because they know your product and they will push it through their own sales networks (so, lower expenses for DVRG and repeat sales if things go well).
GLA
Wow
*china and south asia
£3mio...
just MW
just Q2
just Asia and south Asia.
looks all Good for me :) (when i dont look to the SP, XD)
Hmmm. Orders to end users, NO. Looks like orders to stock distributors. No need to get excited yet...
'Modern Water Q2 orders exceed £3m post COVID restrictions in China & South Asia' ... but I guess even that will not satisfy the bashers of DVRG.
Anyway, well done DVRG keep up the good work.
