slow and steady rise is good, hopefully an announcement soon to solidify these gains. But i think we need next couple of financial results to propel this SP towards £1.... Come on Gerry how's the coffers looking?
T-Rat, DVRG only need to have backed just one winner to see the rerate, with STC, Labskin, Water PD, Pull BT all looking good we could be on to an amazing growth company for years to come.
Dingodog1, totally agree re: competition being a net positive. Given how positively PD will reflect on the company once DVRG are established as key to world response to monitoring of water against disease spread and preventing future pandemics it isn't unreasonable to suppose BT will be looked upon favourably.
I did trim previous reply as was getting unreasonably long winded but halo effect will hopefully also be seen impacting positively on AMBC. If lack of funds was the issue for Modern Water previously this should likely no longer be the case. Need for water desalination grows and DVRG look well positioned to benefit.
Competition not to be feared, but useful to see what is going on:

End of day for investors here DVRG don't need to win all of everything to do very well, yet DVRG might just end up dominating across multiple markets...
Thanks T.Rat, you are well researched on the market/alternatives and are an asset to the board.
It is interesting that other companies have a similar approach, but a massive positive is that it validates the concept. Others see the potential in this type of device and thus DVRG are one of the pioneers, but a pioneer all the same.
An advantage DVRG has over the "rival" breath tests is the microtox name. As GB has stated, microtox is established around the globe and is known to the right people. The wider use of PD will also add confidence to the Microtox name, to the extent that Microtox BT will carry the brand awareness and familiarity akin to say an apple device (to the right people, that is).
Canarydetect and Owlstonemedical. Do these companies carry the same reputation/familiarity/cache as Microtox? My guess is no. But then again i didnt know said companies existed until yesterday evening, so it's possible i suppose!
Equally Dingodog1 I don't intend to overstate how much of market DVRG will end up winning.
BT will not be uncontested in Doctor's offices. Others working in similar space have been listed here before. However the potential is massive... truly global demand (and likely markets not yet discussed... a 'fitness chip' would seem of obvious interest to likes of Garmin - NASDAQ: GRMN - if it were to enable them to advise modifications to training schedule based on viral load... so many future possibilities. And I don't know how the following service is performing but I'll drop a link here anyway https://www.supersapiens.com/en-GB/cart/ ).
A couple companies that come to mind you might be interested in taking a look at are www.owlstonemedical.com and www.canarydetect.com . However the potential market is huge and leadership at DVRG are proving their ability to get deals done. That PD isn't without question the biggest opportunity DVRG have is almost crazy...
The wider consortium will clearly get a chunk of the kit sales value, and ongoing consumables, but as far as the ongoing monitoring (which is the really sexy recurring revenue) goes I can't see why deepverge won't keep all that revenue?
That is very true T.Rat. My comments were not intended to down play the potential of DVRG, but were to add some perspective to the quoted market size for the PD in Germany and the US alone.
BT in every doctors surgery, using all those chips. That market is massive, and as far as i am aware there isnt any competition, it is pure innovation, providing GP's with an early warning tool.
BT and PD on cruise ships. BT for live events. Skintrustclub (both selling the swab/analysis and also the subsequent data), labskin and the movement to prevent animal testing. Police application of MSYS mass spectrometry tech for immediate breath testing
And more that i havent mentioned. DVRG really does have the potential to be a beast of a company. The only "concern" may be someone taking us out early before we reach our potential, imo anyway
Dingodog1, it is equally true the potential market for Microtox PD is only a small part of the total market that exists for DVRG offerings. BT has potential to be even bigger than PD. And DVRG have so much more going on at same time (tomorrow should be a Skin Trust Club day...). All before DVRG recruit a further sixty of the best and brightest...
The market truely is massive, but we need to keep in mind that in order for DVRG to be able to satisfy said market then we will need to JV-up (similar to China MOU) and with this JV comes handing over a slice of the pie, and not a small slice.
Germany + 70% of USA is a potential GROSS revenue generator of $1.25bn. But that wont all hit the DVRG top line. Assuming PD became the monitoring device of choice in both markets, i think its reasonable to assume that half of that revenue will go to the JV partner. We then need to consider how much the rest of the guys in the eco water consortium will get. I dont expect it to be £nil, unless of course it's nothing to do with them? (Must say, i lose tracker of how many businesses are involved!)
Dont get me wrong, there is massive potential for DVRG, but the size of the market doesnt equal our potential revenue.
However, I think its safe to say... £10m will be comfortably beaten, and future revenues will be pretty damn good (imo!)
