Chesh now we know you are wired to the moon!............;()
................;o)
"No animals were harmed in you achieving your flawless skin......"
I'm not in PR, I wire motors up (and they sometimes go the wrong way :), and the cruelty to animals angle has to feature at some point. I know it's on the website btw.......:)
All the best (I'll get me, man made fibre, coat....... :()
@Paulcon62 The value of a specialist PR company (www.beachhutpr.com) in ther tech sector is that they know the space, they understand the demographics and behavioural science behind a PR campaign. It is not about the personal opinion of a few, but the motivation of the many. The beginning of an PR campaign (and I have been through a few consumer campaigns in my career, is that you have to do many A/B tests and target many platforms. There is already good registration numbers, this just helps build momentum to scale. I am happy with the piece in the paper, as it is the first of a 6 month program. I will look at the output in a review in 3 months time and have more insight in US, Canada, UK and Ireland before we push into EU and China later this year
30 million visitors a month to the Sun newspaper. You can confirm that number by going to www.semrush.com and type in www.thesun.co.uk to get the exact stats. More eye-brow, than high-brow, but PR are doing the job they were paid to do.
AndyNich, it is in no way helpful to company if we deny our honest reactions and applaud the advert simply because we are invested and want to see DVRG do well.
The board let me know Bristolian posted again as I was typing above. Needless to say I very much agree.
Agree @AndyNich. To quote a famous phrase “You can please some of the people all off the time and all of the people some of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time”.
I want the company to do the best it can, as I am a Mid term holder and DVRG is my second largest holding. They will no doubt appreciate some well meaning and constructive free feedback. I know that GB reads this BB and that he will hopefully pass on any comments on to his marketing team.
Great advert, not overwhelming with Science too much, gives an in intriguing feeling.
Within the right section of the newspaper (health and beauty)
Sun is the national newspaper read by tens, if not hundreds of thousands.
Don't forget that this is the start of the PR. Everyone asked for exposure and now you have it, stop complaining and let professionals within PR industry to do their thing
Congratulations GB and team on this fantastic achievement!
trillsg, I would have been happier to see advert be much simpler. Too many words. All it needed to be was some variation on below:
Introducing Skin Trust Club. The app based, science backed answer to healthy skin.
All the details and value proposition beyond the most basic idea that there is an app, it is based in science and it will achieve the healthy skin you want, can be saved for linked website.
Sorry to be negative but advert was a disappointment. Honest feedback is good, right?
On a positive what we've seen of website looks good.
Some some genuine feedback from my other half who has very sensitive skin. This is just goi by by the advert :
She says : I’m not sure I would trust it with my skin- I am sceptical that they could possibly know everything about my skin from a swab on my cheek and also I don’t know how much the venture will cost, what products they’ll refer me too and what the price range is? There are a lot of scams out there so this ad needs to shine above them!
I think it's a good advert, not baffling users with the tech. Think the revenues it will create will bring in the investors, not the ad as no mention of DV.
Bulsara, the web page as linked from advert works:
skintrustclub.com
I'll not comment on advert for now as I want to see others response without setting the tone.
Not an avid poster but can someone enlighten me. Skin Trust Club to be launched in next two days, but links to the website do not appear to work properly and the page they take you to is in a foreign language and then, the launch is in The Sun newspaper, probably the lowest ranked tabloid out there. Sorry if coming across negative but just a bit underwhelmed as I am fully behind DVRG and love everything it is doing. Are things not finalised yet re: Webpage? Cheers

So the Sun it is...
Well it is confirmed to be a tabloid.
Mail seems obvious choice given previous DeepVerge coverage:

I'll buy it NU, just in case, for research purposes. I'm excited. My family and friends are aware of Skin trust club so i'll randomly point the article out to someone at work to gauge a genuine response to it.
Daily sport?
Which paper do we think we'll be in tomorrow? Personally I think it is needed in the likes of the Daily Mail as opposed to an investors one like the Times.
Going to need our own version. If you didn't buy that face cream but bought DVRG stock instead.. (but do buy your subscription!).

Ouch to those that have sold recently. Don't read the papers at breakfast.
Good news. So we are getting what we were asking for this morning. Thanks boss. Now let me check the list. Says something about Microtox BT... next week? Or the following?
Looking forward to watching the Skin Trust Club brand grow.
My pleasure mate, I enjoy it. Think after all these years we've found the biggie. Them 400% plus are going to look like failures.
R40 ...... no mate, MREX came on board a while back, and really stirred up the market....!
trillsg........ your research knows no bounds...... eternally grateful........... :()
All the best (boom into the weekend.......... :()
Chesh, did we add another MM as we have 8 now and thought it was 7?
