Longlad, I'd hope the online element of campaign is more sophisticated.
While influencers have been hinted at I'd hope they are not just shiny happy people. If that is the case it is a missed opportunity.
With Skin Trust Club a key element to establish is trust in company offering product and the science that underpins it. This is a great opportunity to highlight some of the fantastic science DVRG are doing while getting Skin Trust Club name out before the public.
I'd love to see company being brave with campaign. Reach out to science based YouTube channels and offer them a story alongside simple advertising. Possible examples:
AI and Machine learning would provide a story for likes of Tom Scott (https://www.youtube.com/user/enyay).
Roll out a real time waste detection system would appear suitable for Brian McManus (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCR1IuLEqb6UEA_zQ81kwXfg)
The positive mental and emotional benefits to healthy skin for Vanessa Hill (https://www.youtube.com/user/braincraftvideo). More generally the practical application of science for Brady Haran (https://www.youtube.com/user/periodicvideos / https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtwKon9qMt5YLVgQ***vJKg ).
Listed channels and topics only offered as examples.
Spend the money, tell the story, promote the company, sell the product.
I'm sure there will be plenty of testimonial type commentary from health and beauty influencers. Which will be great, but that won't answer the key question, can the company offering the product and making the claims be trusted? Is the science sound? Does the magic cotton bud work?
I'd like to see DVRG invite the scrutiny, establish DVRG name and company credentials, all while at same time promoting Skin Trust Club. Then when people search for Skin Trust Club (having learnt of it elsewhere) they will see it is offered by serious people doing serious work. It is this that will give them the confidence to sign up to entrust their skin health and that of their children to the product offered.... (as written that could be seen to suggest no interest in product from regular viewers of those channels or similar, I'm not suggesting any such thing - for many it could be the first time they learn of Skin Trust Club).
We are told PR is all planned. I just hope it is sufficiently ambitious. I'll say nothing else, already spent too many words (hypocrite!). Time to just sit back and watch.
“Concerns grow as UK Covid testing labs scaled back before even opening” I’m not concerned, as I know they have saved millions and will have an amazing testing system now.. well done GB and team, can’t fault anything about it.. Been planned to perfection, even the disposing of the virus..
I can’t wait, it’s exactly what the world needs.. A ridiculous fast test, that’s easy to use.. blow and go next, next, next.. summer is just round the corner as well.. party time
Oh it’s coming, crush the market, sexy breathalyser time
March could be an impressive month for DVRG, one foot at a time...
Dvrg could do good for community's like this
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/feb/28/california-east-orosi-toxic-america-water
An invisible line splits the rural road of Avenue 416 in California’s Tulare county, at the point where the nut trees stretch east toward the towering Sierra Nevada mountains in the distance.
On one side of the line, residents have clean water. On the other side, they do not.
On the other side lies East Orosi, an unincorporated community of about 700 where children grow up learning to never open their eyes or mouths while they shower. They know that what comes out of their faucets may harm them, and parents warn they must not swallow when they brush their teeth...
Meths is cheaper
I genuinely did buy the mother-in-law them for Xmas. I was hoping she'd wear them so I could chuck Brandy on them an set em alight .

Comment of the day trillsg. :-D Well done on achieving such a coveted accolade. Congratulations.
Best,
Mr T
I'll be putting this on https://www.hotukdeals.com/ HUKD, once they start announcing offers. I'm very well respected on there after posting my Christmas pudding nipple tassels deal.
Will the app take me to the product that is recommended? So I can buy it straight away, from whoever sells it. Does anyone have an idea, or will I have to get up lol..

I also like the brief, punchy style of adverts, however if the advert is not limited to print edition and being run simultaneously online, wouldn’t it make sense to include as many key words as possible that may boost our chances of turning up after a key word is searched online?
I imagine you wanna advertise to your target audience.
It's Ok, someone on Twitter had the same query. Gerard answered it.
Preparation for the launch requires us having an indication of the level of demand for test kits, personnel in the laboratories and assays for testing. A bit like Apple and Samsung notifying their next phone will be ready shortly.
I'm not sure I understand the logic of advertising something that is not yet available to buy. If I liked the sound of it I want to buy it. Might get a reminder through email, which may automatically go to junk or more likely not bother registering and move on. We know it'll be amazing but will the general public who aren't going to remember who Skin Trust is in the next few weeks? T.rat, as you're in this type of game can you explain? QVC might be a good move.
Or skin care just got easy.
Retireby40, interestingly readership was least of my concerns. More the amount of reading required. The full proposition of Skin Trust Club will never be covered in a small advert like that. Too complex. So better not to try. In doing so you avoid a block of text and the risk of TLDR, or confusing the reader.
Boil things down to the essence. For me that is an app based, science backed answer to healthy skin.
How to convey that in as few words as possible? Well here is one possibility:
Divide the space vertically into thirds.
Column one fill with images of App.
Column two fill image of with whiz-bang science.
Column three a model in Skin Trust Club branded apparel, smart phone in hand (giving a bunny rabbit a cuddle for Chesh). If the app will support smart watches then have model wear one with screen viewable and notification displayed.
Then add Skin Trust Club branding and logo, add a banner proclaiming new, add web domain and add a QR code to ease transition from page to screen. Finally some additional text to make things obvious - something along lines of "Skin Care Made Smart" or "Skin Care Just Got Smart" would cover it. Whatever, exact wording not the point, you get the idea.... Just a few words.
Benefit of suggestion in moving across page from App, Labs and then happy human (and animal) is it even matches the steps of Skin Club Trust and works well with narrative.
Show don't tell. What matters is to move them from page to screen as quickly as possible. It's once on website things can be easily explained. All advert needs to appear is futuristic and aspirational.
I'll expand no more as bit rich when I'm complaining about too many words being used.
Anyway enough said, I'll go return to the naughty step...
Rather stink of a brain dead pig then a stuck up c**t.
The Sun and Daily Mail are cut from the same cloth although at least The sun readers know they’re reading a comic. Massive readership but surely The Sun is mainly read by men and although men are spending more and more on personal care it’s dwarfed by women. I’m surprised it wasn’t an ad in The Daily Mail although I’m sure their media planners and buyers know a lot more than little old me!
Yup, they stink of brain dead pigs
The Sun is The leading newspaper in terms of overall reach in the United Kingdom. You got a problem with Gammons?.
Special one today.....Ice moon....stunning!........... :o)
Not me mate........... !
you'd see it flickering if I'd connected the moon up...... :()
All the best (that's defo the work of a higher power....... :)
