Short week next week. News before long weekend would be welcome...
I not long ago 200k shares was £80k.
Well, let's hope the guy who's just bought 200k shares is not suicidal but knows something the rest of us don't :)))))
Was having a look back to see when the FY report landed and it was 30 June (very last day). I noticed this on 24 June, wow, nearly a year ago -
"The successful completion of the Phase 3 field trials clearly demonstrates the capability and value of Microtox(R) PD to identify dangerous pathogens, including SARS-CoV-2, in real-time. By establishing a permanent anonymised mass surveillance of wastewater, DeepVerge claims a world first real-time defence against this global pandemic. The installation of Microtox(R) PD wastewater units will enable live data to simultaneously identify the source of COVID-19 cases as well as identify COVID-19 clusters with the ability to indicate the size of each cluster. As the data grows, the central AI system has the potential to predict the trajectory of growth of future clusters of SARS-CoV-2 or any future dangerous pathogen .
"Having achieved this major milestone, we are delighted to enter this agreement with EPS Group who complete the final step of installing, retrofitting and maintaining our Microtox(R) PD equipment. With this level of established technical engineering support and distribution, DeepVerge can now offer an end-to-end solution for public and private clients across the European wastewater sector. We expect updates from our Joint Venture agreement with China Resources and roll-out in the US to follow early in Q3. "
The market seems to have gone away full stop. Never seen it so quiet everywhere.
The market is waiting for numbers on cash burn, and margins. Plus solid sales' contracts.
Until we get those, the market will assume the worst in this climate against tech cos (sell first, ask later).
Mind you, considering the huge falls for Tesla, Amazon, Netflix etc, we can't complain much.
If GJB can deliver on just a few of the stuff he's been (over)promising in the last few months, the market will up the SP accordingly.
I like Ratty's post much more than the one below it.

Which does nothing to answer Frix's original question... But does give reason to flag up timely RNS this morning:

The Manager as an influential shareholder
The Manager is an engaged and supportive shareholder (on behalf of the Company) in both unquoted and significant quoted investments. For unquoted investments, representatives of the Manager often join the investee board. The role of the Manager with investees is to ensure that strategy is clear, the business plan can be implemented and that the management resources are in place to deliver profitable growth. The intention is to build on the business model and grow the company into an attractive target able to be either sold or potentially floated in the medium term.

Arron Tolley, Chief Executive Officer of Aptamer Group, commented: "We are really pleased to see the deployment of multiple Optimer-enabled MicrotoxPD units under the Environmental Monitoring for Health Protection programme. This will allow remote, real-time monitoring of water pathogens, particularly SARS-CoV-2, for the country to prepare for the next winter period. This Optimer-based detection offers increased national and international water safety through routine installations and monitoring, and we look forward to supporting our partners at DeepVerge through the supply of highly specific Optimer binders that enable specific and sensitive pathogen detection on their platform."

Frix, their initial investment which the company was aware of wasn't over the 3%. They've subsequently increased holding but that doesn't mean DVRG have been made aware.

Hmmm...how come Gresham not appearing under significant shareholders, just Helium. Surely their holding is more than 3% or so?
Under "Shareholder Information"

As at 22 March 2022, shareholders holding more than 3% of the share capital of DeepVerge were:
Helium Rising Stars Fund – 9,403,443 shares (4.28% of existing share capital)

Bullishbearish..........!
muggs did just as much, and if not more due diligence...... way way back in the MWG days, as Paul the 1st was ripping the very last shirt of his back. It isn't fun to look back through their history mind........... and you can't actually access Paul the 1st history in MWG and here in DVRG.....!
All the best (or can you......? :()
Gresham do a lot of due diligence before they commit to a new holding ,they also run vcts which are in for the long term ,so in answer to some of the above questions I hope that helps.
Ken and Brendan are very shrewd fund managers so I for one are very Happy to hold alongside them.
NU I still hold probably more shares than you?!
Which of my points to you disagree with?
Sadly NU GB has done you, and others like you, like a kipper. It is clear that many people think a production order is a sale it is not. There have been no real sales to third parties as there has been no announcement.
GB must be laughing all the way to the bank that he has managed to persuade a few naive PIs to invest in a non order. As I say I think that you bought some then NU!!!!???
I will retire from the BB, I can't handle 3 of you today, the board as they is yours, fill your boots.
*results of PD (not BT) testing and roll out due
Little wonder why volume has been so poor and share price on the slide looking at those slides. Deary me.
We need a 150% uplift in revenues to hit guidance so I’m not sure 39% or whatever is really cutting the mustard. So from Q2 onwards they now need to make up so need more than 150% (albeit not too bad as Q1 always quiet). No mention of China in there but including some woolly statement about interest from Silicon Valley in skintrustclub illustrates why Gerry shouldn’t be CEO. A shame these venture capitalists don’t see the value in buying shares in the group at these rock bottom prices.
Will GB report properly in FY results, will we see some transparency and KPIs etc?
The frightening element is funding through high interest loans and if growth continues to be double digit and not over 150% generating cash to pay off will be tricky.
See what the next few RNSs bring but results on BT testing and roll out due, he can’t ignore China resource in results so it’ll be interesting to see how that’s spun and having been critical of ‘analogue’ LFTs I hope our costs are minimal.
Mug,
Tell us again how many DVRG shares you actually own and why you still refuse to sell them?
Mug,
That's why it was called a "production order", ie units to be manufactured in advance of sales orders. You really must try harder with your negative agenda.
NU - they do not have any third party orders.
No doubt they hope that this will fool the more naive and foolish investors to buy more shares - knowing that the pros will see through it.
I vaguely recall that you bought some shares around then. Seems that you fell for it!!
Mug,
That's why it was called a "production order", ie units to be manufactured in advance of sales orders. You really must try harder with your negative agenda.
Chazzy - unfortunately the so called ‘order’ in the 11 March RNS is not a third party order at all. They are simply building it and putting it in stock.
and this, are you paying attention muggins because I bet the investors liked the numbers and this too:
Acquisition of Glanaco Engineering for £1.1m
• Production orders up 3A% worth £5m for Modern Water equipment
• Sales up ÿ4% to £2.3ÿm (Q1 2021: £1.2Am)
• Skin Trust Club sparks interest of Silicon Valley
• Labskin expansion in US
• Engagement with US cities for pathogen detection
• Medium Ticket (£1m+) installations bids
• £25m Mezzanine Loan facility
Just the benefit of Muggins who claims DVRG don't how to realise cash from their products, please pay attention Muggins and see if you can join the dots:
2018 Revenues were £274,000
2019 Revenues were £823,000
2020 Revenues were £4,483,000
2021 Revenues were £9,330,000
2022 Revenues fcast £24,000,000
Yes I must have got it wrong to. It is a really wonderful presentation with no mistakes and clearly sets out how the company is going to commercialise all its products.
Any institution that does not immediately invest when they see the wonderful presentation needs their head examining.
