Very quiet on BB and very low market volumes. Big capital raise at 8p a few months ago. If Covid isn’t hurting much we should be on edge of a turnaround.
Are the BOD staying mum so they can top up or we be on the verge of a take out. This seems like the worlds most forgotten share.
Results are out, can see in ADFN, don’t know why LSE are so far behind. Had a big one of tax hit and merger restaurant overlaps plus S/W confusions. Not great numbers but not tragic also considering they are one off’s. Problems sorted and double digit growth thus far in October bodes well for the next update. Likely to tread water until then with some small sell offs I think meanwhile.
Bit of a yawn really.
The use of ebitda as a key measure is pretty meaningless when you have such a large fixed asset base and 2.4m in depreciation.
They have been published but not showing on LSE at the moment along with some other companies. They have been published on their website.
No RNS on LSE per the results today, does anyone know anything?
Never a good thing if results are not published AM but late after closing to hide poor performance or late because auditors have found sharp accounting issues. (Hopefully it’s all OK and I need to look on the company website later).
I’ll have a couple of glasses of what your drinking!!
Hopefully a good update tomorrow will start off a slow and steady rise, glah.
The only thing that concerns me is that the CFO sold shares a few months ago.
Monty
Entirely agree with you also the new pizza acquisition should now have had time to settle in and be accustomed to the company computer system.
We seem to be waking up a little towards a break out, could we ever see the heady heights of over 40p again one day. With the sit ins opening up and the digital upgrades all completed, maybe our Polish Brothers and Sisters will get into a few poor pizza nights. I think the TV sport etc is good thing as well for take outs and we just had Tennis, World Cup qual’s etc - If we can show an increase in cash generation or more openings and revenue growth with a good balance sheet this will take off like DP UK and other countries. Fingers crossed
Pump and dump ... Someone is trying to recover today's losses! Imho:)
Lets hope the interim results come out with some good numbers, then hopefully we might see this share price rise up again?
Some great numbers from dominos uk recently, although a slightly different business.
Will the share price in a bit of a lull I think you're right.
I've heard that DPP is getting busy now, anybody else heard the same? Should help the share price.
Great time to buy.
I think you are a month or two early, vaccination take up slow in Poland, but getting there
That's what I think as well. From now on it should be better and better.
see a 12pct markdown this morning as I had felt that the numbers released today were not too shoddy. Maybe some expectations were too high. Hopefully will see a recovery over the next week.
"PLN 1.1m of sales were generated in the 11 days following the relaxation of restrictions on indoor dining in Poland on 28 May 2021.
· Average daily sales during the last week of lockdown in May 2021 was approximately PLN 32k, in first week post-lockdown increased to approximately PLN 100k."
Bodes very well for the future.
Further restrictions lifted in Poland. From today you can have a meal in a restaurant also indoors. Back to normality.
Well done. I'm sure that acquisition of Dominium Pizza was a very smart move which will give the company good start to attract more customers and therefore to play a key role on the market. Good timing is a major factor determining a good business. Results despite the pandemic were quite good. Shortly we should get update re enlarged group + ...summer is coming. Polish people love pizza, believe me.
Sadly I only bought DOM in 2010 at 116 (in today's money, allowing for the 3-for-1 share split in 2016). I have bought more DPP in recent weeks!
Apparently it's still off the radar. Good time to "take a punt" while it's quiet. Do you remember Domino's pizza (dom) a few years back?
Total value of trades £1k!
There we go, as expected.
Correct. As I said in my previous posts those new restaurants (nearly 60) will reopen on 15th May (oficial news) which means extra revenue and profit.
