Phil it has been pointed out zillions of times to them. Probably pointed out to them a few minutes before they go off and check their printing orders to run off another million or two between friends. Sure it is a vote of confidence in the company, don't you know?
(NB) although I realise the more recent recipients are prob tied in for a period. Nonetheless there's most likely plenty in the hands of holders that are matured and ripe for selling.
I think it would help if they stopped printing zillions of shares to people in lieu of payment - the recipients could well have decided they needed the cash and it could be them offloading.
Thanks for posting J/K. Rugs is right in that I and at least one other has noticed some auspicious trading before some news leaks out in DKL's trading history. Not as bad as some AIM companies but also not as good as some other AIM companies. As the production figures and the dog ate my homework excuses that inevitably accompany them have been fairly frequent it is no surprise to note falls after results. Oh for the days of 14p and 17.5p again!
PS although there have undeniably been a few chunky sales... the SP hasn't actually dropped back as yet, more flat lined. Let's hope we avoid JK's trendline pre results and actually get momentum back upwards.
Evening all, my best guess would be the age old lack of news flow (not even so much as a lesser-spotted LJM puff piece), combined with no financial calendar being adhered to and possibly those just getting their quarters mixed up expecting news a month too early. Once it starts dropping, then others pile in.
And I know FK1 is going to interpret the numbers and reckon that some are aware of the results before they are released and sell before perhaps buying back a little later.
Yeah we've discussed the many times JK, interesting to see the numbers listed. I guess it's a typical commodity trading pattern. We used to get big buys coming in after a decent quarter, so fingers crossed.
jk. Interesting. And to what would you infer are the reasons ? rgds
I don’t know, why not?
why not post about cash flow & dividends?
So, with the SP dropping back again for no apparent reason (despite CPO Rotterdam still around $760), I thought I'd do some research in to a phenomenon that I've noticed previously with DKL. Namely, that the SP drops back approximately one month before the quarterlies are due (in April/July/October/January).
Completely useless information, but here are my findings with the closing SP from the 10th-20th of each month prior, with the closest date possible either side for weekends. Bearing in mind that, as always here, there is virtually zero newsflow.
