Smithy are you still invested.
Don't get caught in the dark looking for a way out.
Imo this so called super app that nobody has heard of and donnie is claiming dish are not charging restaurants I find even more worrying as this now equates to zero revenue, at least last year they managed to muster up10k in revenue (not bad for one years revenue).
Morning smithy in answer to your question would I re-i vest when this dips to 1.5p, the answer is no it's like the blind leading the blind. This mornings RNS imo is a feeble attempt to stop this plummeting further and is a totally meaningless RNS just more blah blah blah,
Not even a carrot to go with this one.
I agree 100% with Tanya.
Tanya the majority of investors have not liked the new update and model what’s that telling you?
Iv read it, again everyone is avoiding the obvious.
Tanya ask 10 people at random have you heard of Just Eat, Deliveroo & Uber Eats, the majority of not all will say yes
10 people, same question heard of BigDish, you would be lucky if 1 knew what it was!
Don’t pretend otherwise, what’s the point in developing a super App if nobody knows it exists!!!

Donnie good post and comments!
To scale up and compete they need to start pushing this and create more awareness, not asking for a tv advert but simple facebook, instagram and twitter post should be directed at consumer groups, restaurants etc it’s free and can post several times, vital marketing.
Donnie please refer to Ronald Ts post why would they stop using a strategy they was clearly working, adjust the price as volume increases and also add delivery takeaway as a side revenue stream
Let’s see what materialises...
This £250 figure is false and an assumption. bigdish have not confirmed no fee as yet, as for the first few months the restaurants can try bigdish without any costs. Questioning competitors, Uber eats, just eat and deliveroo delivery charges can be expensive for the consumer (depending on offers at the time) as well as the restaurants to use them. Why would anyone want to pay more if they can get the same service at a cheaper cost? And that goes for the consumer and the restaurant. A few people do know about bigdish otherwise you wouldn't be here and when there is more restaurants on the app then it would seem more beneficial for them to place a strong marketing campaign in place at that point. There is no point to advertise the app when most of these restaurants have been placed on invisible mode whilst the new app is being prepared. If anyone has done their research on them, you'll see they do have a good team on their side...who will see this through eventually. Too much assumptions and trolling has brought this panic and expecting this to have been rolled out straight away (the guys have been furloughed for crying out! And have only just got back). The crazy thing is reading some of these posts where posters have stated certain things without actually reading the last RNS. I would have been more worried and have sold out if they did continue the same way as before but bigdish has shown flexibility, to innovate and the willingness to change with the times, to adapt. There is no app that offers discounted reservations, take away or delivery as yet -Just look at doordash and just eats valuations. No one knows what tomorrow will bring but I do think bigdish certainly have something which will prove valuable. I guess by the end of the year we'll know. Dyor!
You’ve been exposed, RAMPER!
A genuine investor would be naturally worried just as Ronald pointed out how is it going to work if nobody’s aware of it?
dammit, typed £350/mo instead of £250/mo earlier. Please ignore both
Prove your not, engage with your contacts and ask about marketing, exposure how to get this super app. Noticed and make people aware
Do it, I dare you!
Ronny Results last year were 1st August, expect a big tumble to 1p
Would you still punt at 1.5p?
Ronny great reply, I agree 100% with your analysis, in addition to this they could of still introduced delivery and collection as additional revenue
I’m guessing AB and Tom would have come up with this as Table Now had a subscription model
Tanya you’ve just proved your a paid ramper, proof for everyone to see I asked a genuine question about marketing etc and your response as if it’s a joke
Error,,,boy Jsmith maybe they didn't think about that! Lololol
That’s worrying and concern for investors if they Didn’t!
Wake up Tanya!
The first strategy failed, this is the 3rd strategy and last for Dish!
Great points Smithy 23.22 where is the plan ???
The Super App carrot isn't going to wash
Looks like this great news everyone was waiting for is a super app like Smithy says that no one has heard of and with no money to spend on advertising it doesn't look like a lot will get to here about it.
Looking forward to the results this month anybody know what date they are due to land ????
Thanks Smithy if they had stuck to the original plan 50p to £1 per cover until established say 1500 restaurants wouldn't have taken to long as restaurants will be clutching at straws for business.
They then could have raised funds for a marketing campaign and follow this up by raising the cover from
£2.50 per cover for no discount booked through the app
£2 per cover for a 10% to 15% discount
£1.50 per cover for a 25% to 35% discount and finally
£1 per cover for a 50% discount or 2for1 offer
This new approach will not work
The telesales never got upto capacity and was doing fine with limited staff, once numbers increased investors would be keen to put up money that then could have been spent on advertising, I said over a year ago University's would have been a great starting point for advertising.
To me it looks like a total f__k up now and I expect restaurant numbers to drop like flies.
£250 a month someone is having a laugh
I would love Zak Mir to ask AB who came up with this brainwave but I don't pressume he will given the interviewer is employed by the interviewee
It just gets better and better the way this plays out.
Yes but your avoiding the question, how are they going to compete do you not understand, super app or not, it will make No difference as nobody knows it exists
Exposure, marketing, advertising where is it, what’s the plan?

RT, the £350/month is my fault. I seem to have plucked the figure out of thin air. I don't think it's been establish how much the monthly fee is.
Greenspan posts on the BIDS board. Everything he says is ...positive.. It really freaks me out after putting up with his negativity here for so long.
Tanya you say, People mocked me for saying Dish will go head to head but its happening.
Yes but they can go ahead but won’t win again the big boys, the competition spend millions on tv adverts, dish has no budget...
Do you understand KNOW ONE knows Dish is!
Ronny you seem an intelligent bloke
So Dish has a new plan, would you have preferred they stuck their 50p booking system or what do you think they should have done? Imo stick to what they were doing but up the booking fee to £1.50 per diner and also introduce collection and delivery
I agree with you about competition and lack of advertising, the big buys are splashing out in Tv adverts, dish has no resources
How many people will this super app on their phones ??
It would need to be alot more than 50,000 downloads
Spread all across the UK it would have to be over half a million before any restaurant manager with two ounce of sense would part with £250 a month to be placed on the so called "SUPER APP" that hardly anyone has or has even heard of
Imo this is a major slip up by the management with no money for advertising/marketing restaurants will not pay £250per month
Glad I jumped ship before this so called exciting news good luck all I think your going to need it.
