That is a big jump - from 1498 to 2033 overnight.
I agree, also more restaurants in the bigger cities 500 in London etc
Sam suggested the stickers, not a bad idea for restaurants but again it needs that huge exposure from somewhere, Celebrity, national press etc.
Instagram they would need someone who has a large following, hundreds of thousands of followers and post about big dish a story/video or image showing the app. and restaurant that would circulate quickly
The power of the web that can generate the exposure, stickers imo not effective dated
Agree Jsmith it’s a start but more I think needs to be done to promote us!
Sam it’s a start but it’s going to take a lot more than daily Facebook post to increase the exposure of BigDish, there competing with the giants of the industry they really need to get the name and app out there.
There was talk in the past of a celebrity endorsement, even a free press review would be great.
Bigdish have done another FB post looks like there using there social media a lot more now which is great!
Tanya i would even consider global atm, lets see if they can crack the UK first, when you look at restaurants these days all you see 99% of the time on their websites or by their names is three names:
UberEats
Deliveroo
Just Eat
The only way Dish can compete is if restaurants start to put Big Dish by these three, that's when you know they made it until then there unknown to everyone.
So I think we can safely assume that the rest will be added shortly taking the total to over 2000.
Browns - 24 locations and 13 on the platform.
https://www.pizzahut.co.uk/restaurants/
Look at the page that says "Pizza Hut is back".
All Bar One - 56 locations and 35 live on Big Dish so far.
Pizza Hut say on their website that they have re-open over 200 of their dine-in restaurants. I think I read somewhere the figure was 213.
Only 101 Pizza Hut - and I think they have over 200 re-open after lockdown.
O
Just doing some checking here. TGIFriday have 85 locations according to their website and there are currently 50 live on the BIg Dish platform. Others yet to be listed are 2 in Cardiff, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Reading and 1 in Guildford and Swansea. That makes 62 so there are another 23 here and there as well.
So it looks like this is work in progress and there will be 2000 plus restaurants as soon as the rest are listed.
Lots of other chains available.
Art that’s great news Bristol is now live!
Cheers spero. Saved me the job.
I see Bristol is now onboard with 35 restaurants. Still not the 2000+ the tweets claim. Nonetheless, towns and cities such as Leeds, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Reading, Swindon, Blackpool and lots of others are still to be added. Hopefully, it will be 2000 plus when they are all on board.
377 locations 1498 restaurants
Tanya Asian cities are old test ones.
How can they secure funding with sp heading for 1P???
I will do a count here tomorrow.
Looking at the locations and London figures it does not look to be much different from the 1448 I counted recently. It definitely isn't "over 2000" as they keep tweeting. I don't mind if they sign more chains quickly while they have the chance but I don't think much of them just pretending there are more on than there are.
Deliver doesn't deliver nationwide in fact Greenspan. DYOR. A lot of the locations covered by BigDish can't get deliveroo.
Free in fact until January ;) also Aidan said to me he was expecting no revenue this year anyway without covid complications so got to be onto a winner here it’s just a matter of time
Tanya didn't you say Dish were going to aim for the restaurants that have their own delivery service
and his twitter picture with a mask on exuuuuudes confidence to the buying public doesn't it ???? it portrays dont go out, should he not have a picture portraying what he is selling and promoting??
