Hence some county's some city's covering towns quite a distance away and some town that are really just outer suberb being given there own location
Do you think the route of the problem maybe that after sign up, details are just sent straight to Manila, so they are being left with free rain on layout with no real idea of British Geography,
Cambridgshire has changed to Cambridge, but is broken. I'll assume it's still on one.
New locations: Belfast +1
London, Aberdeen, Manchester, Sheffield +1
50 Locations, 332 restaurants
+5 for the day :(
It must be very hard not to sign more than one restaurant in Essex or Surrey. It shows real restraint.
Sorry, what I mean is that the one restaurant that was in Cambridgeshire is now not sure if it is in Cambridge.
I see Cambridgeshire has now become Cambridge - though the one restaurant that was in Cambridgeshire is now not sure if it is still there or not.
And please don't tell Aidan or the tech team but the only reason I keep belly-aching on about the locations not working on the website is because it is by far the easiest way to count the bl**dy restaurant numbers. There is no other reason.
I'm only on 5 so far - Belfast, Aberdeen, London, Manchester and Sheffield all +1
Should see a rally today imvho.
Nice recovery from the lows yesterday...

Do you two have nothing better to do other than post reams of drivel on this board, do you not have work to do even housework or gardening if you are unemployed. Most of the criticism you raise have been answered numerous times by other posters yet you keep going on like two broken records.
Why locations with only one restaurant , we would all like 50 in every location but that is not doable overnight. As someone who lives at a location not yet covered I am eagerly waiting for the opportunity to use Bigdish even if for a time there will be limited choice. We do not all live in a large metropolis. Finally does anyone still use websites for restaurant booking when a smartphone App is far more convenient. I would have thought Art and B'zup would be up with the times in this respect. I would imagine the company are aware that getting the App slick and attractive is of greater priority.
The approach to locations is possibly clever or possibly pointless.
Bushey is really in Greater Watford, but Bushey residents likely hold themselves distinct from Watford. Giving them their own location might be pandering to their snobbery. A bit like Kenilworth vs Coventry, Fleetwood vs Blackpool. Essex on the other hand is so homogeneous throughout, that perhaps none of its towns warrant their own location identity.
If it's the 'clever' approach, then that's a positive feature. If it pointless, then just disregard it and focus on the number of sign-ups.
The truth is probably somewhere in the middle and certainly not worth the relentless commentary.
Well ART actually spotted the little scam, so I just threw a bit of ironic comedy in to the mix, and by the way it would not surprise me one bit if they did start splitting Cities in to Regions and Towns in to Villages so that you`ll have to reduce the page size % on the website down to about 10% to be able to fit them all in.
What this company doesn`t seem to realise is that the public, and more importantly the Financial public are not stupid. They tried to con people with bs so many times last year that it finally caught up with them as the share price collapsed. The new CEO and strategy change was not just desperately needed...it was critical in saving the company from total disappearance all together.
Now they`ve got a new chance to make things work and they can`t help themselves from being devious, trying to pull the wool over peoples eyes with this `one` restaurant in each location campaign!! WTF is it all about? Anybody have a logical explanation of why they think this is the way to go?
I have, Aiden and Sanj are bullhitters, they seem to think that they`re smarter than the average bear, and that nobody will see through their wideboy DNA. Either that or they are just incompetent with their scatter plan strategy, like a football manager who doesn`t really know his best team...just keep trying something else and hope that it all falls in place at some point.
Anybody seen that new show on Quest Red, Faking it: Tears of a Crime? 3 experts analyse the body language, linguistics, and the psychology, of criminals when they are interviewed, and point out when they are lying, its fascinating and gives the audience an insight about how to spot when people are lying. They would have a field day with these two.
Now let me make it clear that I am not associating Sanj or Aiden with any criminal activity, but when you watch the Proactive interviews that they both gave last year it is clear that they are most uncomfortable with some of the questions, and avoided straight answers like polished politicians by various means.
They fidgeted, squirmed, joked, looked embarrassed, stumbled and looked extremely relieved when the interviews ended.
Of course we all know why now, they didn`t believe what they were saying, because almost none of it happened. Don`t take my word for it, look for yourselves. Bigdish plc.
I know those interviews are history now, but it shows their characters, and how willing they were to fake it!
Its in their DNA to try to fool people, and obviously the market with this extraordinarily awkward strategy of focusing on locations more so than focusing on restaurant. To the point where now they`re listing Counties as well Towns within those Counties as if they are separate locations!
You couldn`t make it up...unless you were feeling a bit devious.
he's being amusing. They are all 'small' locations within London, an existing locations. Think he's making a point about Bushey (Nr Watford) vs Essex
Bottmzup where you get this info from on new locations???
New locations coming tomorrow...Kensington, Westminster, Fulham, Brixton, Wembley, Richmond, Whitechapel, and Mayfair!
Yes, only the website. The App is fine.
Cheers
ART is this error just on the website not the App?
Art
report it to BD as an error .

Website - home page - Search your town or city and select one - press Find Table to go to the location - look at restaurants and then decide you want to Change Location - go to the top right of the webpage which gives the current location and the option to Change Location - highlight this which then brings up the full location list - but the problem is that there are too many locations so it can't show them all and it won't scroll down to show the ones that are not visible.
That should explain it.
Cheers
ART the location blip, ill email Dish if you can respond to me and explain the issue ill pass on
Thanks.
I'd feel happier if I was confident that this company can sort things out as they go along but they have shown very little talent in this department so far.
They still haven't fixed the location blip on the website for a start.
If so they could soon start to merge some locations and to use counties for others so it quickly becomes properly organised. But maybe they won't and then it will all start to become very messy.
Well, Kenilworth has a CV postcode so it is just down the road from guess where - yes, Coventry, which was added last Friday.
Dewsbury has a WF postcode which is Wakefield - already up and running with 2 restaurants.
Winsford is an odd one. Crewe postcode but equidistant between Chester, Stoke-on-Trent, and Manchester.
Llandovery is in the Brecon Beacons National Park and miles from anywhere but with a Swansea postcode likely to be visited by people from there. A location called Wales may be best.
Warrington has its own postcode and seems to be midway between Liverpool and Manchester and I don't have a clue whether it should have its own location or not and don't really care..
Good Lord Art you are one seriously unbalanced individual
There is one consolation here - at least they aren't running the telesales operation from Manila. Ha-ha.
Not that I think they'd make much more of a hash of it. Personally I'd have loved to have seen 6 new restaurants added in Surrey today - and give the one each in Kenilworth, Dewsbury, Llandovery, Warrington and Winsford a miss for now.
This is actually getting worse over the last few days and it doesn't promise to be a very nice experience for a while.
