Mrcautious just checked, out of interest.... from June 26th.... 4 months..... the FTSE all share is down about 100 points, or 0.3%. Dev is up 1.9p.... or 30%.... in the same timeframe. You are frankly talking nonsense.
mrcautious - do you work in the company to know how well the company is doing?
Why don't you sell your Dev Clever shares and invest the proceeds elsewhere? You might then be able to whine elsewhere.
I was responding to no 1iss post on this not being an AIM share.
Answer - ive been in this small cap share for nearly 4 months and am still about even's I think given the hype it would have done a bit better of a nano-cap share. I am glad you achieved a good entry point. I have entered other shares of similar MCAP and made big profits in a few weeks recently. I have learnt that shares like this are not stable investments they are to be just watched and traded. I think to have not done anything really in 3-4 months is not good performance, I never looked at this as a share to pass on to my grandchildren !
MrC.... stagnant? Stuck in clay? Check the chart. 400% rise in a year. Perhaps your expectations for the speed at which you might make a profit from share dealing are a touch unrealistic?
Not wishing to sound confrontational, it’s just that I’ve been in Dev for quite a long time, and am more than happy with progress to date. Ones viewpoint is clearly going to be influenced by ones entry point. How rapidly, and by how much, does a share have to rise before you would declare it less than stagnant?
The field in which Dev Clever operate, mrcautious.
We know that but whats the relevance ?
This ain't no AIM listed share.....main market.
I thought this also, this is a very stagnant share, while i have been waiting for something to happen in DEV listening to all of the usual BB bluster (being polite here !) I made nearly 50% on a trade in FAR over just a couple of days ! This has been stuck in the clay for weeks...
I'm just hoping this prospectus is good and not delayed again. Due by the end of next week.
You would have thought so, but you could say the same about some of the large buys of late also.
Who knows, it's a market , shares move from one person to another.
Barnard if we've had one big seller for so long then surely a tr1 would have been released no?
We have had a seller which once cleared we should move up. It is strange the large buy didn't push us on..many good companies have a seller and as soon as they finish the sp moves on as new sticky hands come into play.
If you're confident in the future here day to day trading ranges don't really matter but I share your frustrations as it feels we are on the cusp of roll out news ,revenues,Indian deals etc.
"Very soon last chance to buy under 9p" ...how many times have we heard that.
The sp is stagnant in it's current range (7.5-9.5) and will do so until we get a decent RNS or the prospectus with quantitative sales figures.
Despite big buys, sp fails to take-off ....maybe because there are also big sells?
How did that happen ? A buy relating to couple of percent of the MCAP and no shift in the share price ????????????
Massive buy....that's not punt money....
All eyes on DEV
