Someone bought about 75,000 shares in the last half hour or so
I bagged at 68.8.
Sold another share to buy this. Fool perhaps. But damned if you do damned if you don’t..
This is a great time to buy in or a erage down. My buy will hardly dent ave. but every little helps ( as Mr. Buffet might have said when he sold out of Tesco).
Crazy mad market.
Mr. Oleveira in full swing. Expect TR1’s next week.
Lots of sells
Manipulated small buys
Real game at play
I am in tils and this. profited by trading parts of my holding at various times but these chunks I have left are practically in a deep water trench. Sticking to them with bloody minded patience. And will buy more once I have better cash on the side
Interesting Friday p.m. share price games atm
I saw every one.
Quite a few large buys through the day.
Found it curious
This selling by Oliveira has been going on for 2 weeks today.
If it had been released earlier any positive effect would have been negated by Oliveiras selling, don't you think?
Am I the only one that noticed the largish buys yesterday at 75-76p. A couple of days ago when it was about 76p someone paid 79p for 50k or so.
They said possibly in June. Around the time of the Nasdaq listing.
They didn't say definitely. The fact that it is now September means they would have more data available now than if they had released in June.
Sang - yes i remember, I am referring to the original timeline which was June (and then AS announced in that workshop it would be late summer/early autumn). Whenever timelines are stretched it causes panic (even thought they announced it months ago). And let's be honest we are very much in late summer/early autumn at the moment :)
Mumbo - Forte Biosciences was essentially a binary outcome play, one-hit wonder and it flopped. To now think that an investor decided to pull a plug on an entire sector because one compound failed (?!?) would be a bit of a stretch imho.
Seller yes. Most definitely. He may sell more. Or buy back cheaper? Already sold probably 2% .
Shakeout because investors ( like me) don’t like seeing share value plummet.
Some will sell . Nice cheap mop up.
Can’t know reasons.
Which is what shakeouts are based on .
Not knowing for surre. Which leads to jangled nerves. In some.Very effective.
I can’t know readons more than anyone else…but I sure know about shakeouts!!!
Phil the data they will update on is a glimpse into an ongoing trial where some of the patients will take 0518 for up to 2 years.
The trial is not scheduled to finish recruiting until the end of the year.
So it's just an update on how things are going. 3 months ago they said they would update in late summer, early autumn.
ColdBrew - you're right, however they have just a few months ago dropped a comined $2m into the company @ 1.10 - as you know. Which a decent show of confidence I think.
Can this all go horribly wrong for us holders? Absolutely. Am I a bit nervous? Most definitely, I am in red here.
My only (real) concern is that results/data update has been delayed by a few months. That doesn't have to be a bad thing, but it not usually a good sign.
I think (not an expert) that there is so much research now emphasising microbiome relevance to the immune system (oncology/autoimmune disease/CNS, etc.) that companies like 4D could end up creating an entirely new drug class. Upside is gigantic in my opinion so I am holding (hope to be proven right) but i know it could end in tears as well.
No more concerned than I was the other day and I wasn't concerned then.
I invested in the business and it's abundantly obvious it's nothing to do with the business itself so wake me up when the next trial data is out.
I've sold nothing, arguably that is holding my nerve.
Reality is, however, we've had confirmation through the TR1 that there's a distressed seller, who still owns 10% of the company, and thus could offload a heck of a lot more and drive the SP a heck of a lot lower.
The only thing that could really change the dynamic, short term, is an update on keytruda or announcement on Blautix partnering into P3. Other trials would of course help though.
I'd hoped 90p would be a floor, then 80p, now 70p, but we've had a constant erosion in the SP since the Nasdaq listing, and the BOD (whilst shooting for the moon with accelerated FDA approvals etc) haven't done enough to shore the SP up short term.
Where is the Keytruda update promised in June, then late Summer/August?
If they're so confident in the science and the open label trials, why arent they topping up more themselves as a show of confidence?
The newsflow the next few months looks great, the science great, but anyone selling up now has completely valid reasons to be skeptical.
I've not sold a bean, if it drops to the 60s I may top up more, but let's not pretend all is rosy here either.
As it stands, if Duncan and Alex are so convinced in the products they're developing, then they risk giving it away for peanuts if the SP collapses.
The shake out is rough here, very similar to TILS that I track also.
Shame there aren't a few more like us
Just bought another 2,000 shares @ 71.295. T20 with no premium
