Beat me to it.
Just imagine if some of these partners and customers started placing orders?
...... Presentation informs us, that CyanConnode have an ecosystem of Partners, but are not exclusively linked with any one Partner. CyanConnode are also working with new Partners, as yet to be announced, whereby CyanConnode are/will be integrating their Cellular and Mesh modules, into the potential new Partners smart meters and communications platforms.
And for a Company the size ( at the moment ) of CyanConnode, their " Customers and Partners " page, is both encouraging and impressive. And has been for some time. With many smart meter/smart grid global contractors, from many different areas of smart meter/smart grid expertise, already on the list.
So should it come to a take-over, just take your pick. But not just yet I feel.
In my opinion, of course.
But everyone has their price.
LTI.
No problem, Roddy. Let us see how we develop from here.
LTI.
You’re right CB, based on previous performance, however, situations can and do change and that in a nutshell is where we are. Either they have moved on and in which case 4p will hopefully never be seen again OR your correct and they couldn’t deliver the post. Again my hope and indeed feeling post the announcements of the last couple of months, progress is finally starting to come through. You can keep digging up the past but hopefully you won’t miss the changing winds.
Apologies LTI, you didn’t say 100m, I was just using your post to support the idea that the possibilities are are huge and to say the number could well be much higher than 50m.
Hello Roddy,
If you re-read my post at 12:46 today, I did not mention anything about a 100m figure. So your post at 13:15, which indicates " As LTI points out, he could quite easily have 100m, but people would think he was a loon " is not what I said and a little mis-leading.
LTI.
He wasn't put on the spot, it was a pre submitted question that both knew was coming days before. The answer unfortunately was handled with typical awkwardness and backed with no confidence whatsoever. I really don't know how many times this BoD will be allowed to get away with misleading information. From 3 orders guaranteed within weeks a year ago, to Bangladesh £10 Million largest order lost, to expected forecast y/e revenue being achieved, UK rollout now not giving income for 4-5 years. Nothing, but nothing ever plays as it should. Tell us about Indore tonlie, you may have mentioned it once or twice but always worth another reminder.
I agree Roddy and everything we do on here is also guesswork.
JC was put on the spot but equally his high number may have been his knowledge (and Anil's) of what is going on or about to go on. I was interested the to hear reference to new service agreements and the fact that they would be more likely with volume orders. In my opinion the possibility of 50-60m units is quite achievable and if as an average they work out at £10 a go then we are looking at my logic of £500m asset value.
Bearing mind all the other things also being achieved.
There is a lot going on and we should now be looking at the upside.
Over to you Colour.
DYOR.
What would you have said in his position? I agree, I think he was probably put on the spot and very crudely plucked a figure out of the air possibly basing it on the orders they have received and the total number of customers in each utility. I can’t speak for him and I’m just guessing. As LTI points out, he could quite easily have 100m but people would think he was a loon. Personally, I’d have said 10m and it would be happy to surprise on the upside but it might be equally unrealistic as it could be a lot higher. At 10m units, i would be delighted.
Good afternoon all,
I seem to remember Anil mentioning a target figure of between 10/12 million meters about 15 months ago, during a presentation. John Cronin mentions a target figure of approximately 20 million over the next 5 years, during the Interim Results, 2019 presentation. During the Investor Meet Presentation, John Cronin mentions a potential 50 million meters, over the next 10 years.
John also mentions where this additional market penetration opportunity, may come from. That being the Mesh/Cellular market opportunity. Other areas of market penetration may come via the other " New Range of Omnimesh Products " mentioned in the Interim Report Results, 31st March, 2020. Which included:-
- Omnimesh Long-Range RF Network Interface Card.
- Omnimesh Metering of District Heating.
- Omnimesh Dual Sim Cellular Network Interface Card.
- Omnimesh Integrated Gateway with Cellular and RF Mesh Capability. ( Already mentioned.)
Plus the confirmation that water and gas opportunities are in addition to the 250 million overall target of the Indian Government for electricity opportunities. Plus any addition for the recently announced interest by CyanConnode in the EV charging market.
So with the development of the new range of Omnimesh products/solutions and CyanConnode now looking at a possible 10 year time frame, with a considerable and growing Customer and Partner portfolio, you can maybe see some justification in the numbers mentioned.
But all in my opinion, of course.
Enjoy your Sunday Lunch all.
LTI.
Roddy, 50m was mentioned, but listen to the delivery of that. Can you seriously say JC had an ounce of belief in predicting that figure? If you didn't have money in here, you would have a very different view I suspect. It was off the top of his head, as many things are, and will prove a disappointing message to anyone buying in on the back of it. That's not my negativity, it's just realism and knowing CC too well.
Thanks for that Vas and Roddy. Got my sanity back now you have given the correct time of 36.20 seconds.
Yes simple to read at 50m and understand. Do not consider them to be forward comments just normal expectations.
I think we all have to move forward from fighting this continuous negativity. In my opinion CC is about to break into a trot, a lot of income will be extended out to 5 years but equally much will arrive in this years and next years figures.
I am looking at an SP of 10p+ by 31/12 and 15p+ by 31/03. If nothing intervenes and production is ramped up to 3 shifts.
The whole of India wants to make headway with Smart, especially with Cov19; and Indore for cash returns is the light at the end of the tunnel.
Things are going to happen, DYOR.
Can anybody help out with a decent assumption of cost per unit?
Struggling here to understand the contentious point. 50m is mentioned, 20% of the 250m roll out. Given where we stand currently, I’d be disappointed if they weren’t targeting 20%. At 10% delivery, we’d all be over the moon! What did you expect, “we’re the market leader In terms of units deployed currently and have stole a march but we’re only targeting 5% of the addressable market”?
Evening Tony. Go to the presentation and start watching from 36.20 seconds. it will take you straight into the question in question. GL
' Was a good rerun of video and there is a lot in it to reabsorb. '
Lol, unbelievable : )))))
Cricky Colour, you must sit on your PC all day long.
If Vas is kind enough to clear this up for me I will push on to the real stuff.
You have treated it as a waste of time and not bothered. You can't rely on everyone spoon feeding you all the time, as you say, DYOR! lol
Vas, we know Colour likes to play cat and mouse.
Can you time me down to the minute and second.
Generally I thought video was quite informative.
Normally I would treat this as a waste of time and not bother.
It's over an hour long Vas, way too much to ask.
Tony. Scroll back before the live q@A session and they present two questions...before hand. One is abput the extent of india oppurtunity that CB is talking about. It's basically what I posted earlier.
Colour, I really do not know what you are on about at 47 mins, I saw Heather talking finance, JC talking EV's and only ref to 250 was at 53 mins.
Was a good rerun of video and there is a lot in it to reabsorb.
I think CC is on the up and being a small company with small number of shareholders will produce good returns.
DYOR
47 min was the start of Q & A's I really can't spoon feed you all day. So now you have heard it , what do you think he says?
Well Vas don't worry about age I am massively older, so you are in your prime, LOL
