Given the Three awarded already goes back into the Summer, you are probably close to the truth of it Itt. All these contracts that start and suddenly vanish should tell us more about the CC product offer than anything else. There is of course the strongest chance someone in China can flood the market with far cheaper knock off stock. They would call it White Label just for the bants : )
"Of these, three have already been awarded to CyanConnode’s clients (e.g. meter manufacturers)"
Maybe it's not just a delay, perhaps one, two or all three of these 'CyanConnode clients' contracts have actually gone elsewhere.
It's his numbers ting again Itt. The fact CC call them 'contract negotiations' is laughable in itself. They don't have any contracts, if they did they would hold all the details needed to be known. Yet again, it's all so CC.
Thanks for that ITT..
50% increase in chances, LOL.
Hi tonyj
It's three contracts not to be signed, not two:-
"The group’s commercial trajectory in India continues to see delays. Management originally expected four contracts in India would drive a H2’19 rebound. Of these, three have already been awarded to CyanConnode’s clients (e.g. meter manufacturers) but contract negotiations are ongoing."
Colour, I take your point but do I sense an element of panic in you.
You have played a major part in denigrating CC so you should be pleased.
We still have those 2 contracts to be signed, more like a toothache.
And the outcome of this new EESL alliance.
Year-end has obviously been put back to accommodate these possibilities but shareholders should have been told not just slid out in an RNS as if normal. The logic of the action is there but I have many friends in London who to say the least are very unhappy.
These deals and actions are all doable but shareholders should be informed.
They would have to be approached by a double daft buyer. Daft enough to buy, and even dafter to keep the present top line in place. At present SP the company is still way overvalued. I can't think of a single asset that gives it any value whatsoever.
Rkk1. Interesting about CC Pvt. india going private / or listed. India is where we have been led to believe is where CC will flourish, it's where they have spent the best part of the last decade , where they sit at round tables, the majority of live opportunity exist, only partners whom have actually bought some product, based in India, they signed up for "Made in India" along with a manufacturing base and possible Indian export possibility so...could be argued that they have a greater interest in India than UK. The U.K. Contract came as part and parcel of the Connode buy out, like the bits and pieces in Europe....was never a serious target of CC . IMO.
The company has several options, away from an AIM listing.
Go private in UK or India, major wipe out of existing shareholders.
Be listed on the Mumbai stock exchange, or similiar Indian exchange. Unlikely as to beauracratic.
Capital Restructure. This will not benefit existing shareholders
Accept bid from competitor or similiar in India or EUrope. As all the major shareholders have long since written off there shares, they will not care. So a minor bid will succeed, and directors will get a new contract and equity.
Execute a prepack agreement, again likely to wipe out all existing shareholders.
Either way forwards, existing shareholders lose out and if done "correctly" the Board will continue on the gravy train!
Hell0 Jake+ Thanks, i have already seen that article but cant see how it answers the question that i asked Craig, i have also read that the goal posts can be changed regarding nominal value and from what i can gather it could be possible to have another consolidation. all guess work but interesting all the same.
I favour privatisation/MBO myself as Itt states, it all fits.
Thanks for that jake, shows it works well. What is the update on that, must be all finished.
Are they in India, CC is now involved with EESL, I might be wrong but didn't Silver Springs get taken out by Itron.
Any way India comes down to cost, speed of connection and reliability but cost being priority.
Delivered not "felt" lol
'Just because India is slow, but not for long' wtf! Where does this come from?
Tony note the date of the article. Mesh/Canopy networks are not new. This one was felt and successful.

Well Vas, like everybody I would like an update.
Last thing back a couple of months, was I believe that the embedded software was being tested.
If this has been achieved then the next step would be BI to sell the meters with CC software inside to be activated if the customer requires..
If the customers hear good things like Indore they could be tempted to try the same and it just has to be turned on, at a price but quick.
Just because India is slow, but not for long, doesn't mean CC is, and Canopy system is quick. We could have done with that in UK. Mysore did well but things have to move faster to be cost effective, Indore could well be that of course if we are the lead in that installation.
They could end up with a dozen licencing agreements and still make no money. That's the big problem here for anyone thinking of going long on the next contract / licencing deal ....the question should be how many years will it be between the announcement and income in the bank.

God, has tonyj been banging on about BI for a year, it feels a lot longer : )
Hi Mr GL this may help.

It was a year ago this week that the licensing agreement was announced!
Hi Tony. You often mention BI in China. Have you found out anything concrete regarding progress involving CC & BI there.
All, I must admit that after several attempts to get a monthly report even I begin to wonder whats in the pot.
Enough to get us through next 3 months hopefully.
I do not have a STOP, which is unusual for me, but it was the product I was following.
CC, obviously at great expense, has got it up to this advanced Omni stage which apparently is very useful and if they can get over this final hurdle, and Indore seems to be impressing even the less interested, then CC stands a good chance.
At the end of the day India wants to cut its massive generating losses and fast. If CC shows a light at the end of the tunnel then they will probably grab it. This is for Private and State facilities.
Hell0 Craig do you have a link for your comment? btw was that your sell of 87904 from NOV 20? loosing appox £600
It smacks of deliberate destruction to me, leaving the company exposed to a management buyout?
Did someone mention the other day a minimum that they would need to cough up?
tony IMO - if there is a monthly profit of any value, an RNS would steady drops, silence while living off investors cash, which leads me to believe a troubled ship.
