This is about as informative as the Clown gets MG.
He uses DYOR, never actually does any, because he got threatened by a wet wipe recently. It's all good fun.
Crickey, Colour it's a bit much when you have to drag your brothers into this.
MG sounds like he works for somebody else.
Looking at SP the Market is still content to hold or may be even rise.
Could not resist, speak weekend.
DYOR, get that in at all costs, we don't want to mislead.
Interesting 1st post. I don't think there are any employees here, some do get prompted to post when things are missed on the CC site though. As far as the order book goes, even the company have no idea what the true figures are. That's why they use weird terms like 'pipeline' and ' contracted backlog'. The figures behind just these 2 terms run into hundreds of Millions of pounds. The company have never been remotely close to landing any of it, yet it always appears in every presentation. And as you have worked out, a contract 'won' by this Co. is very easily lost before the ink dries.
You will know the main Ramper here. He understands little about business, and every numerical attempt is bunglesome at best. Ignore that one at all costs, and you may get some interesting snips along the way.
Looks like you have already DYOR, so good luck.
I would be interested to know who on this forum are current Cyan employees. There seems to be a lot of "orders coming our way" type comments that I read as current BOD trying to make the current position sound better than it actually is..
I have recently done a bit of a deep dive in the reporting for this company and anyone that pays any attention to the order book must be a total fool. What happened to all the massive orders in Bangladesh, Ukraine etc? This company is a one trick pony and in danger of being left behind even there. We were all promised a massive uptake when Anil joined and have yet to see any real increase in order volume.
The current potential break even is about reducing costs not increasing revenue. This looks like is mainly due to the completion of the Omnimesh development work, shutting down the Connode part of the company in Sweden and offshoring work to India. Only so long that this will work without a substantial uptake in orders.
You are correct of course phuckerty, always loved that name! This from tonlie back start of July....
' As JC says most of the heavy work is done, it's now a matter of customers who seem to be arriving every other month.
My next outlook is the current 200,000 units orders progressing to 500,000 > 1,000,000. at a time.
DYOR '
It was a mighty Q3 as he predicted.... : )) DYOR.. Lol.
Colour what is not to like.
Break even on the horizon
Large orders coming our way
SP over double in early part of next year
Great future! Just ask Tonie
Yeah, ok tonlie.
I do know some numbers, I also know where they went.
Well Colour, you must read comments and apply the grammar.
My comment on 3 shift related to increased production, not employees; indicating the increase in number of units required, hence expansion. Of course these contracts occur all over India and most work is done by Utilities. So unless designers and trainers related to CC are prepared to travel then some come and go. Bearing in mind we are talking about very few staff how many do you think have upped sticks. As you have heard so much, unless you are stirring, you must have an idea of the numbers (or %) that have left and of course that have joined.
DYOR
Your opinion on staff level last night was based on CC manufacturing and having to have enough to cover up to 3 shifts. You have found out today, unbelievably, that CC do not manufacture at all. It's fine tonlie, keep learning, preferably post after you know what is going on, and stay focused. I am still bemused how you can post so much, and know so little though.
Colour, I can't help thinking you are a bit loopy. You are arguing around in circles.
As far as I know CC in India do not manufacture, but design systems, train installers where necessary, arrange contracts and assist in tenders of larger meter manufacturers and act as main contractors in the likes of Indore.
So not a large CC workforce. Instead of all the negatives why not sell up and move on ,LOL.
DYOR
So your statement ' CC is expanding and could need to increase their hardware to a 3 shift work pattern, yet Colour says CC (India) is overstaffed, could it be that staff need to be appointed and laid off as contracts in different areas (Inidia is vast) are completed.' is complete nonsense as you have now learnt that CC do not manufacture. You really have no idea what you have invested in here tonlie, you really need to DYOR before you make more of a fool of yourself.
Staff in India have been in offices for 8 hour days, and have not had work to keep them interested, some career hungry are now leaving. It is alien to a civil servant as you just took a salary without purpose or target. Anil has more staff than he needs. He is a nice bloke and all that, it has been confirmed more than once to me, but CC need more than a ribbon cutting smiler.
Well Colour I can't see that as a relevant question as CC's do not actually employ anybody to produce the modules I should imagine, as they come from a supplier. The only answer I can give is that it would triple (3 shift) and then possibly triple again as demand grew.
So anyway tonlie, how many staff do you think CC employ to produce product in India?
Morning jake.. Different schools of thought on this. I happen to think BB's on small companies make a lot of difference. I would agree that with large companies no difference but on AIM it's punters not Funds.
Anybody who is long term knows that with India what is said by BOD takes months to translate into contracts. Colour has indicated in the past the delays incurred with India red tape.
A little bit more patience is called for and if it takes off this SP is going be peanuts.
DYOR
Just an observation Tony. JC has continued to paint a more than rosy picture with some of his statements without increasing the share price and he is the CEO .I don't threfore think any comment on a discussion board is likely to negatively affect any companies share price. I think it time for people to get real about this regularly repeating statement.
tonlie, firstly nobody has been sacked, staff have resigned. Google that, it is very different and it happens in corporate land, which you know nothing of. Whilst you are looking things up, give me a rough idea of the number of staff you think CC have involved in physical production in India.
Now, now woolley.. It's a pity that Colour cannot practice what he preaches. With his mantra, prove it, prove it.
These comments could have an effect on share price. Sackings in India, question marks about Anil.
Listening to JC and HP I form the opinion that CC is expanding and could need to increase their hardware to a 3 shift work pattern, yet Colour says CC (India) is overstaffed, could it be that staff need to be appointed and laid off as contracts in different areas (Inidia is vast) are completed. I don't know and I think that Colour does not.
DYOR
Pistols at dawn -:)
I always work with information tonlie. You may find out from CC should they choose to inform, but I am doubtful. As I understand it CC are currently subject to a number of staff resignations in India. This may not be a bad thing, as I also understand resignations in the past happened because there was simply not enough work to keep some interested. It sounds to me that Anil is being allowed to run a grossly overstaffed ship. That maybe because of the tidal wave of contracts he threatens to be due. Anyways, I will leave off the DYOR, how brave is that tonlie. LOL
We will probably only have to wait a short while for an update or news of new contracts.
Colour, wise move to put DYOR on your last Post, bearing mind you obviously have no information at this time of any happenings and are just stirring. Not so sure that is allowed even with DYOR, however we shall see.
For my part I am content with situation, everything takes a while in India to process but Heathers reference to volume orders would not have just been thrown in for good measure, there is substance there. Some orders may spring for the Union Territories and I not think CC has had so many current orders in India plus Thailand.
It is a waiting game but still 2 1/2 months to 31/12. so first volume order may come through.
DYOR all and Colour.
The obscure post recently regarding Anil and India was not without some foundation I believe. Rarely is there smoke without fire ... DYOR.
