You won't remember it, but it's the same double act format as the SS/JC show. Nothing has fundamentally changed, apart from the SP, which they still don't have a chart for.
ITT, Could be something in that, if you noticed Heather did most of the facts presentation so must be confident in her comments. Something is afoot, we all know that what is said does not materialise over night. The basic facts are CC RF is agnostic and I believe can accommodate almost all other meters and IoT. Add to that it's 'notspot' capability, it's 12km link and it becomes a useful tool for any company who needs that gap filler.
Enough said, DYOR.
Something about JC's and HP's recent presentation suggests to me that the news, when it comes, is going to be very good. There was a new laid-back attitude from them - perhaps there is something afoot, which has given them that confidence. Of course, I could be completely wrong. Either way, we'll find out soon'ish.
Yes, 10 weeks is nothing in CC world. I won't be surprised if they ignore the chance of a TU and go the longest distance to release the interims. As you say, if all is going so well, they could give a very good idea now as they will obviously know the numbers.
Hi CB
It's only ten weeks until the 31/12 deadline anyway. Not long in Cyan-time.
Unfortunately, the afternoon didn't finish as well as it started. Hey-ho.
Well Colour.. wont argue too much on this but I think that there is sufficient in what has been disclosed recently to reach break even, 500k units, which even you thought was not much.
If HP prediction of volume occurs between now and 31/03 then I would think that we are well covered.
If it happens before 31/12 then it will be a bright start to 2021.
DYOR
Never in a million years will you get detail anywhere near what you want there. I strongly suspect CC would not know the figures themselves. Proven Volume orders, in the next 3 months, will possibly bring a break even sheet by end of March 2021. If that doesn't happen, the same old picture of dilution will emerge and we are back to the first fence. Simples.
Hello ITT.. Hopefully JC will be able to put together a few figures with the current contracts. For myself I will be happy if they are just going in the right direction.
Possibly next year CC's reports will be simplified as we move into larger contracts and agreements. In the past we have had this problem of only getting half the facts because of not letting the opposition know.
I do not think as investors we need to know all the fine details, just where we stand financially.
I would like to know what countries we are in, total value of contracts per country. Then a breakdown for the next 2 years. Most contracts are for completion in 2 to 3 years.
So I would like to see listed: earnings for current year, earnings for year two, possibly year three ( all this added to when new contracts come along), maintenance/leasing's yr1, yr2 and total for thereafter. We know the monthly costs but could also be shown especially if reducing.
With CC embedded in the Smart Meters of the 3 largest manufacturers who supply 50% of India's meters, although we don't know what percentage of Smart that we are embedded in of these companies, I think it is safe to say that CC will be far flung around India in coming 3 to 4 years.
I am holding on happily.
DYOR.
I hope not, but we know there are chances Itt. Have a great afternoon !!
Surely, with everything going so swimmingly, there'll be no need to hide the numbers until then.
Everyone's quietly waiting for JC and HP to back up their bullish talk with a strong H1 Trading Update. Let's hope it wasn't hype.
Not long to wait now.
If they can produce six months accounts showing revenue of £3m, I'd be really happy.
Not referring to R&D Tax Credits a 'Financial Highlight' would be a step in the right direction too (IMO).
I think the £7 million pa expectation number kept being quoted in previous years , but no idea if that was correct. If running costs are circa £375k pm, I will be looking for a higher range between £3 - 3.5m. They said it will be the best monetary performance ever this year, it just needs to be consistent now. Going £4.5m to £1.2m pa is no good to anyone anymore.
Hi CB
Agreed.
Last year, they missed market expectations by a country mile. What are the market expectations for 2020/21? Can't see that Arden are predicting anything yet.
What revenue for 6 months should shareholders be happy with? Would £2m - £2.5m for the first six months be a reasonable expectation? It's got to be, hasn't it?
As most of us accept Itt October 19 TU was a complete car crash. This one needs far more detail, and solid numbers on cash collection to date.
I'm expecting a decent trading update for the first half-year within the next 2-3 weeks, based on what JC and HP had to say in their recent presentation(s).
Next Wednesday is the end of Cyan's half-year.
2019's Trading Update landed on 31/10/2019. Looking forward to seeing 2020's in October.
