Maybe that's why we are NOT hearing of asylum seekers trying to get over here, maybe they're all trying to get back to 33 degrees.
"Satisfaction Guaranteed" ~ ( 33 degrees) sorry ~ (3 Degrees)
Most of your comments are typo's tonyj. CC have had a 10 year 'dip' in SP, not everyone was in that boat LOL.
Colour, that comment was a typo and be 'we should see 2020 through'. By that I mean the end of 2020. We shall be lucky to see profit this year with what is going on but just to keep the books stable would be sufficient.
We may get a dip in SP but everybody is in the same boat.
DYOR
Mmmmm operating loss 2018 £6.3 million. Revenue H1 2019, £1 Million....... and you are expecting a non loss making figure tomorrow? Just unbelievable !!
Woolie, all politicians take advantage of situations as long as they don't score an own goal.
As long as the world does not claim force majeure we should come out of tunnel in one piece.
CC is holding up, considering situation and tomorrows statement. A few may get cold feet but I expect CC has secured enough contracts (or near to) to see us through to end of year, profit will be questionable but as long as we do not make a loss. I think with the Indore, Southern India, Thailand etc decisions being well advanced we should see 2020 though.
Only my opinion and definitely a time to DYOR and satisfy yourselves.
In future years we'll find the real reason for collapsing world economy, think back to Blair we are going to war because of chemical weapons errr, economy hit, miners strikes power cuts, housing crash, housing benefit issues, brexit, bank crash including recent rip off £1k landlords license fee, always another reason to collapse our finance wealth, create transfer of wealth imo.....
We have to think outside the box and wonder why we are battered with PPI claims, ooops I mean coronavirus 24/7.
2020 the all new flu is called coronavirus. Think of the implications if we controlled world finance (with one word) its the pyramid effect top 1% getting filthy rich while other fall to pyramid base.
Bigger question who gains from the situations, nudge nudge wink wink brigade and there a lot in waiting, when we get the nod its done and dusted....
Woolie, certainly hope that does not apply in UK, I have probably already had my quota from pension fund. LOL
Sadly the percentage death rates in Spain and Italy suggest there maybe some truth in this woolie.
They also broadcast the virus is unable to survive 26 degrees, check out Goa temperature 33 high and their in lock down, its a banana skin moment' again.
Not forgetting world leaders do NOT care if we live or die, they prefer the later to save on paying peeps pension....
They had deaths and riots against the Citizenship Amendment Act. The country appeared on the edge long before this, just hope they see it as a non fault event and cope as best they can in some peace. I have my doubts. India have been too slow to give its people the basics in life. I thought the Space program might have seen more resistance, but to be fair, I doubt many even know they have one.
Trouble is Vas, no country truly plans for an epidemic. We are chucking billions at this. I may be totally wrong but I think the rot started when Trump brought US home from China then everybody else followed, that's politics.
People are mad about travel then panic to get home and possibly bring Virus's home with them.
Flights are still coming in despite the UK crisis.
All the cash could have be given to these countries telling them to accommodate our people, poss not that easy.
We have problems if this type of crisis occurs every 8 to 10 years and gets worse each time.
Modi's problem is the size of India and it's various stages of development.
The hope to turn round 100 years of no progress within 10 years was going to be hard under perfect conditions.
Transforming electricity will obviously be a major starting point but a crisis like this does not help.
To all stay safe, irritating but necessary.
Modi has aplogised and asked for forgiveness from the indian public. I can't believe he will get it any time soon. ....it's the sheer numbers involved...and it's not about social distancing for these people at the moment it's about food and shelter...
To be honest I think Modi is damed either way.....if he lays on transport, which is happening in some states like kerrela ...then millions of desperate unemployed will flock to all corners of India. .possibly taking the virus with them..and if he continued marshal law ...tens of thousands will riot and possibly starve....he will be judged in retrospect.
There is far more to life than Smart, but this will put India back 10 years at the very least.
BBC 'Many of India's 1.3 billion citizens have been left jobless and hungry.
Tens of thousands of migrant labourers have been forced to walk hundreds of kilometres to their native villages.'
