Hello LTI, I am fairly certain CC will be all too aware of them, and anyone following events in India will know them soon enough also.
Good morning CB,
I have noted tonyj's e/mail on Wirepas, but I also followed up with some research of my own.
From the Wirepas website:-
" Wirepas is deployed in significant volumes by 50 utilities in Nordic countries. Wirepas is a connectivity solution designed for large scale deployments, requiring highest reliability and lowest lifetime cost."
So there is a possibility that Connode knew them originally and CyanConnode may possibly also be aware of them, if they are marketing in the same area of business. I seem to remember on one website, Wirepas were located in Finland. There was also a link via a company called BeaconTrax, based in Canada, that markets " Wirepas compatible Beacons and Gateways."
Maybe CyanConnode will come across them in other markets.
LTI.
Truth will out
Yes tony the ramp haha :) Please don't call me out baby - Madison -:)

tonyj, I took you off filter for 5 minutes, just to check the uneducated bile is still flowing. I will give you this one, although it is crystal clear you have never DYOR on any aspect of this share. Stop saying it, you look even more pathetic.
IF you can find them, which I doubt, check Wirepas. Their Mesh network is the most scalable, reliable and cost effective IoT connectivity on the market. Contacts in India simply use the word Robust. I will leave it there, but do stop calling me out, just DYOR for once.
Trouble is Colour.. You have not named them, why? I think that is a good question mark. As you always challenge those statements. The first thing that comes to mind is why do we not know them, second what are their prices like, you know India or so you say. Another, why do you think CC were consulted by EESL last Nov, they wanted something and obviously Anil know's what. What do you think of Thailand, or can't you bring yourself to say anything positive.
As you are in the know what exactly is EESL proposing to get around 'notspots', they must have a lot or are they just leaving them until last to keep the numbers up, or are they (heavens above) using CC on the quiet.
Only you know all these things, joke, so may be enlighten us.
DYOR
I think that is correct LTI. It started and stalled, as India does, with most assumptions here the reason being the chosen GPRS Comms was not up to it. With the latest Q&A EESL confirm that GPRS is the mainstay of the project and are not looking at other options. Bangladesh also appears same. I know CC won't need much % wise to become anything of note in any of these nations, it could actually mirror % with UK SMIP where CC comms are required. When JC describes CC winning volume orders, I very much doubt he expects the contract numbers to be in millions. The JVVNL contract could be the largest they will ever see, and I suspect be the sweet spot in volume that CC can actually supply. I do know of one very successful company, that operate in the exacting field as CC, and are poised to turn a few heads in India. They have an RF Mesh offer that will link 10's of millions of connections.
Good afternoon CB and all,
From the original EESL/Trilliant webinar, featuring Mr. Saurabh Kumar and Mr. Bryan Spear, I take from the interview that the 1 million smart meter roll-out, possibly originated from a 5 million tender from about 2 years ago and the actual roll-out of the 1 million meters started about 15/16 months ago.
So originally, it could have been part of the multi-million meter tenders originally tabled by EESL, during 2018.

But still a very good achievement.
LTI.
Good afternoon CB,
I have listened to the EESL/Trilliant webcast and it was a very good informative broadcast, from both parties, on the project roll-out.
LTI.
Thank you CB,
I tried the other site again this morning, but could not access the interview. Thanks for the direct link at 10:16, I will view later.

Morning LTI. Go on Enlit Asia website. Just fill name and email address and it takes you straight in.
Good morning CB,
Can you indicate where/if there is a " Free-to-view " audio/video of the EESL/Trilliant interview, between Mr. Saurabh Kumar and Mr. Bryan Spear please, as the ones I have found to access it on, are credit card/debit card payment only. And how much does it cost?
LTI.
