Thanks for posts Tilly and 2cv.
I can now read what you post obviously, and this needs backing up...
'India has tried and recognised that GPRS/Mobile backhaul for smart metering is not workable - so Govt policy direction is towards RF Mesh in the main.'
There are many here waiting for it, you must have it, so why not share and we can all move on?
I read another poster saying you had confirmed evidence of India Gov policy in adopting RF. I lifted the filter, as I said earlier, and am waiting for that report to be posted........ my lord, how embarrassing could this get.

"I haven't been reading the Weird ones posts, and that will remain. He has nothing to say, but posts all day lol".
I thought I was on filter ColourBounce ?
So you can go and DYOR or attend the meetings that "nodding dogs" go to and be "thrown a biscuit!!
I'm just waiting for Imperial to post that report he has found, that will make it a win double today. I see your calculator is still not working too well. Did you lend it to your Son, or does he have the same model?
ITT, I was going to say get Colours coat while you are at it, but wait I think he wants to stay a bit longer.
Colour, there is a lot going on here and I think you will want to be part of it.
It's a cracking post, and well found. Whatever happens, it does appear they are serious, at last.
Hello 2cv,
The " Bangladesh to adopt Indore model on smart meters " is taken from the FreePressJournal news report, on the CyanConnode twitter feed. Nothing wrong with you posting it.
And again, thank you for posting it.
LTI.
Nitpicking rather ?
I give up - I just posted what I thought was very pertinent information. Up to you (same as everyone) what you make of it.
Sorry that last bit should read .. in one form or another.
GLA
It's not an order ... yet ... but it's an excellent endorsement of CCs technology. Having put the original Cyan order on the back burner, hopefully the Bangladesh order will be resurrected in firm or another.
Cyan have used the line in their Twitter feed announcement ?
Hi 2cvguy
Fair enough. Sorry about that. I'll get my coat.
It was the author of the Free Press article that used the words "to adopt" not CC.
To be fair, the officials from Bangladesh say they would like to adopt. CC have said they will adopt.
It's turning into a great morning already, just need Imperial to post that report he has found.
What part of just quoting did you not understand ?
Sorry, try hope this works:-

Hi 2cvguy
Just saying.
Perhaps you should take a little bit more time before posting, as it clearly doesn't say "Bangladesh to adopt Indore model on smart meters".
Not my words ITT, just direct quotes from the article. Will be interested to hear any comments you have when you have had more time to consider rather than a knee-jerk dismissal.
Good morning 2cv,
Very interesting. Thank you for the information, it is much appreciated.

Hi 2cvguy
A bit of a difference between "to adopt" and "would like to adopt".
Indore: Bangladesh will adopt Indore’s radio frequency based smart meter project. This information was given by a delegation of Bangladesh energy department, which visited city from Dhaka to see the smart meter set-up on Saturday.
Diwan said the smart meter project of Indore is “very well implemented” and successfully operated. “We would like to adopt the project"
