"Quick response, I really do have better things to do"
And yet still he makes 4 out of the last 7 posts on a Sunday!
Waste of life.
You've nailed it LTI. This company will never answer a question they can stall for years on end. The list is long, and you will know all of them.
Good evening tonyj,
I seem to remember you being told on many occassions, that you would not hear anything from CyanConnode that was not already in the public domain. Which is correct. You were asked recently to ask a question about " You know the question that needs confirming right now, on the UK contract, ask that one." And again this morning you are asked to get more details.
There are enough answers already in the public domain, on the uk contract, if that is where the answers should be.
So why are you being encouraged to ask a question(s) you will not get an answer too?
LTI
Hello Colour, that's a bit more like it, out of your box at last.
It's no good telling others to present facts when you are doing the opposite and expect us to take your word for condemnations. I do speak to CC from time to time with my thoughts. You should ask JC re UK instead of guessing.
As you know many salesmen structure contracts which then fall apart or do not proceed, as long as some stick that is all that matters. My view at present is that CC has several good contracts in India and Thailand with further orders and new contracts likely. As far as I am aware company costs remain at £375k so new business is profit.
UK will eventually give us a return, big or small is not that important if India gets underway.
Your current take on Wirepas and Trilliant please which you have not previously answered.
I think good times are ahead but definitely DYOR.
Think I will keep checking in.
I will add information, good or bad, as I get things verified. Over the years there has been a few that have left very informative posts, but as you, and others at the time, wailed and whined so much, they don't bother now. I do realise you and LTI struggle with some of these facts, which is why you should both really start looking for the reasons why this company looks like it does. If you cannot find the information you need, simply ask the company itself. You know the question that needs confirming right now on UK contract, ask that one. They will know the answer, as I do now.
It took to the recent company presentation for JC to finally admit the Bangladesh contract was dead, 3 years in the waiting. UK timing will be similar, it has been positioned.
I haven't posted for weeks because the factual content here is so low, there is no reasoned conversation. Interesting then, the SP takes a hiding in this time, another conspiracy of yours is flawed.
Let us know what answer you get, even if it's silence which is my guess.
Hello Colour, you are may be best off of this BB.
All shares hit highs and lows according to what is unfolding.
Anybody coming in at 2p has now ranged between X 5 and X 8 of entry. You can do anything with figures.
If your rapid demise 2 weeks ago was for other reasons I wish you all the best.
Tony
No problem.
As you don't want to " ..... engage too far ...... " its probably for the best. You haven't seemed yourself over the last couple weeks, so maybe a holiday will do you good.
Just so that you know, I am not interested in who you are talking to and I am sure you can find something better to do.
LTI.
Evening LTI.
I won't engage too far, your desperate text is telling and far from your usual character. You have no idea who I am talking to and that is the way it will stay. CC have used the correct position on the UK rollout, and advised shareholders accordingly. Time has been bought before they have to disclose, they are masters at this as most should know.
The quote "CyanConnode believes that the installation of its RF technology will gain momentum during the latter stages of the rollout" is correct. What they withhold is the expected percentage uptake. Again, for the delicate, in my opinion they know very well it will be a small fraction of what was promised at Connode take out. As ever, time will tell. I have not been wrong so far, the shares trade at a Third of Consolidation, and they are still not a solvent trading company. I do have better thing to do, so may check back here sometime.
CB
Thanks for that LTI.
I would be wasting words to go further on UK roll out.
Connode was bought for IPv6 etc and UK came with it.
Main emphasis is on India and Thailand which I hope JC will keep us updated on.
You can only publish facts when they occur and hopefully soon and frequently.
Now that CC is gathering a name for itself I expect Utilities/Manufacturers will want to be open about it.
I think JC recognises that it is time to come out from under the Bushell.
CC will sell itself.
DYOR
Good evening tonyj,
I think the passage I have quoted from, is what you are referring too.
LTI.
As a follow-up to the comment in the post at 14:01 today " ..... CC are saying nothing in any update ....... ":-
" During 2019, the UK Government announced that it had extended the deadline for the rollout of SMETS2 meters by four years to 2024. In early 2020, the deadline was again extended by a further six months due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Data Communications Company ( DCC ) aims to connect around 53 million smart gas and electricity meters to its secure network and in February 2021, it announced that 10 milllion smart meters had been connected. The rollout of SMETS2 meters commenced in Q4 2018 and as previously announced, CyanConnode believes that, for ease of rapid deployment, installers are initially targeting installations in densely populated areas that have a reliable cellular signal. CyanConnode believes that the installation of its RF technology will gain momentum during the latter stages of the rollout."
In answer to the Colourbounce post on 9th September, 2021, which I have responded to previously, specifically the quote:- " WHEREVER you live you can order a Smart Meter " is not correct.
From personal experience, I have tried recently to get both a SMETS2 smart electricity meter and also a SMETS2 smart gas meter and have been told I am not eligible at the moment and will have to wait until my turn is due and will be contacted in due course.
Maybe CB should consult those that are " .... far closer to the flame ..... " as he puts it.
LTI.
