Fully agree, lovelyboy (10:18 post).
Some very good and informed posters on here.
A refreshing change compared to some boards.

ITA conference: RW on at 12.10, and interestingly, Thomas Bunger (First Tin) on at 11.50
(First Tin has Mark Thompson on Board.)
O/T I'm familiar with Blackpool. I used to navigate in rally cars in my youth.
Tour of Cornwall used Blackpool as a loose stage. All that clay and water made it very exciting in there from memory.
I had much more bottle back then :-)

Thanks for the replies CornishKnocker, Vii and MajorOak. A really great friendly bb with lots of knowledge.
Small position taken here already some time ago, so already on and enjoying the ride. This will be a LTH for me. The prospects for the region are very positive imv. Spotlight focused on the area indeed.
Looking to accumulate here so more research and digging (no pun) required on my part.
Thanks again fellas. It's appreciated.

Trelavour is a really small pit (I'm talking relatively)
On this map its the small white pit on the Eastern side of the road from St Dennis to Nanpean B3279.
Blackpool is actually only about 1.5 miles (it feels much longer when driving it!) To the South East (the big flooded pit near Carpalla).

I see Richard Williams is presenting at todays "Investingbin Tin" conference
Cornishknocker is correct there are at least 6 - 8 locations which will produce similar results. BL have some of those targets.
Even at this early stage Cornwall is looking at ROCK MICA lithium between 3-4mt LITHIUM CARBONATE to 7-8mt ( over all projects Li2OH approx 100,000TPA ) Yes it is a big gap but you trying estimating ROCK MICA lithium ONLY on deposits that have hardly been tested.
You go to BRINE LITHIUM - again I stress fully this is my research not official source but using world processes/potentials per project globally - Cornwall imho could easily as a COUNTY EXCEED 10MT - 20MT LITHIUM CARBONATE. ( 250,000TPA Li2OH from a FULLY operational CORNWALL NOT JUST CORNISH LITHIUM Company. )
Cornwall imho from very very early research and low grade availability of historice data sets , has the possibility to supply the total UK DEMAND FOR 2030.
Enjoy the next 5 years.
Oh plus the TIN & COPPER & ZINC.
Cornish lithium was crowd funded and oversubscribed
This is excellent news imho
CK I think we will be hearing a lot more from the CLICC project !
The Trelavour news will swivel the spotlight onto Cornwall generally though.
All Cornish companies are likely to benefit as a result. The ITA conference is today. Listening in.

The granites are variable - but I would be amazed if Trelavour is unique. Also remember that Jorc resource is confined by the existing pit shell.
Interestingly someone took a photo of Blackpool pit last week ( This is about 4 miles from Trelavour, and Imerys Ceased work there about 14 years ago). What the photo showed is the pit appears to be being drained.
Catching up here tonight after a long day.
That CL JORC is amazing news. Techmet did well getting on board. Surely that bonkers rubidium number is wrong??? Even if its a decimal point error and 1000 times out its still astronomical. @@
It's a JORC, and inferred resources but still, these cpr reports are not known for howling typos.
Anyhow,l I digress. Do any of you guys know if this general geology runs across the region of interest. I can't help thinking that it can't be solely isolated to Trelavour. China clay pits sat on granite substrates are fairly abundent in the region, indeed extending right up to Lee Moor and Wotter across the border.
The main focus of my question is trying to cross apply the cl JORC findings to tangible cusn assets on the basis of additional Li exposure.
Thanks in advance for any insight.

Ps Apologies in advance if this question has been answered previously. I can't find references to it thus far.
He's always open to negotiations. The Tregothnan estate is incredibly successful. He made a fortune out of Wheal Jane in the 70's and 80's and is still making a fortune out of imerys today.
Excellent post Cornishknocker. Has it ever been muted that he 'may' be open to negotiations ?
Cornish Lithium is 10% owned by Lord Falmouth (Tregothnan), who owns the mineral rights for Trelavour. He owns mineral rights to huge swathes of Cornwall, including Wheal Jane and parts of Geevor. In future years he will be key for Cornish Metals.
The announcement about Trelavour will be huge news. It is going to put Cornwall on the map big time. Cornish Lithium, assuming it can extract a significant percentage of the contained metal announced today, is likely to be worth £ Billions. A real nothing to Billions story. This will be global news.
Investors cannot buy into Cornish Lithium as it is not quoted on a market - it is a private company.
So investors will consider where else they can find similar rock/opportunities - and that is Cornwall.
Our CUSN owns mineral rights covering over 15,000+ hectares throughout Cornwall. That is over 30,000 acres of some of the most promising areas. It has a most helpful name - Cornish Metals.
There is going to be an awful lot of interest in what CUSN can offer ......... Enjoy the ride. GLA
