For your calm explanation of the warrants instead of the John Wayne gun ho rhetoric...
Good morning MO
If the share price goes above the warrant exercise price that does not trigger anything apart from some opportunities. The warrant holders have the option (I stress option) to exercise any time over the 36 months from issue but no obligation. We should also consider the lock-in. The new shareholders are not allowed to sell their new shares for 12 months. So if they exercise their warrants they will be unable to sell their placing shares to pay for them. There will be no quick profit taking.
I will have to look up and see what the contract says about a lock in on shares issued as a result of warrant exercise, i.e.whether or not those have to be held for 12 months too.
The very good news for all shareholders is that the value in CUSN is being recognised and as a result the likelihood of the warrants being exercised is increasing. That then means the financing to finish the job is more likely to fall into place, and the large discount in the share price relative to NPV reflecting the risk of not finishing the job/financing the plant, will diminish. As the discount diminishes the share price should rise further. A virtuous circle. But beware. It can work the other way. A vicious circle. If the share price falls, then warrant exercise my look less likely and finance/ finishing the job also, leading to a further share price fall. My money is on a virtuous circle.
VIS - Great minds. I was about to post at the exact same time.
Now, gut feeling time. I did take some profit today before close as I was waiting for this to be pointed out.
Dilution is most often met with a stalled sp. My gut at the time was they would trigger the 27p - not quite as fast as I thought - but by triggering the warrents they will now have from memory 42% approx stockholding of CUSN. A hefty chunk to claim so quickly and again maybe the quicker than other board members suspected. Certainly the buying over on TSX raised both the sp and my suspicions.
How the sp reacts next week now the warrents are to be exercised will be interesting? Do they now have any reason to rush to buy as they now have the 42% they wanted? Will next week see the volume drop right off , objective completed ?
Again my gut is saying they buying seen on TSX confirms the target 27p 45c so if volume drops I guess a rise maybe ? But a slower drift back to 22-24p range as the new base.
Market inflation, summer low levels of trading and CL deal in Autumn may tame the start of dewatering and drill test results.
I saw the 27p target on Monday and got from 18p approx to 24.5p in 5 days. That is fine for now. Time to see what happens next. Cash at the ready for any market led sentiment drop and the next leg to 40-45p on news about CL ? I wasnt wrong about this week and my gut is saying hold on to my profit for a while. Still in but with much less.
I could be wrong, but have shares here and cash to buy CL directly now ;-)
The share price in Canada is now around the level at which the warrants are exercisable, i.e. C$0.45 or 27 p.
CK The news of you joining up seems to have got Canada going!

now C$44.5 = 27.7p

I was told by my 90 year old mother these might be a good buy when at 8p. I bought in and you have been one of the few with obvious knowledge. Not that I understand it :) but it’s reassuring to listen to people like you. Sad to hear you’re won’t be commenting in future but good news to hear you’ll be on the job. All the best
Cheers Southwesterner, you'll have to come Introduce yourself one day
Congrats Cornishknocker thats great! Get that mine pumped out! Good luck.
Good luck to you CornishKnocker, and thanks for all your posts on here.
Looking forward to seeing you on a company group photo in the mainstream media in the not too distant future when major milestones are hit here
Good for you ( and possibly us ), whilst lurking for a while I have enjoyed your insights. I feel there are great days ahead now, and can’t wait to see the mine get back into action ( and neither can the people of the Camborne/Redruth area ).
Congratulations CK. Thanks for your many insightful and constructive posts. Great to know we have you on the CUSN team.

If all goes well, there may not be any further financings. Because, assuming the warrants are exercised, a further £60.75m share capital will be raised that way. That would leave the company with plenty of scope for debt/project finance rather than a return to shareholders for more cash.
If things go badly, then the company will not need further finance.
CK
Congratulations. You should have a lot of satisfaction restoring SC to its former glory.
Your knowledge/ input will be missed on this board. Good luck
Great news for you Cornishknocker.
Wishing you all the success.
Oh by the way keep us in mind if you progress within the company ;-). I'd like a few cheap offerings to buy up as the project needs further financing.
All the best.
Major.
Just to let everyone know before I disappear, I won't be commenting any more on this site.
I have taken a job with Cornish Metals as a Project Manager, working back in the industry, I don't want to find myself in a position where I say something I shouldn't.
