crizmo you are posting information that some might misread and be false. I agree with you that we need to be realistic, but you also need to view these apps in the context of the changing tech and people's landscapes.
The app that CTEA released in Botswana was an Identify App, the C19 app is a completely separate product line:
"Based on the use of Catenae's secure blockchain-based identity technology, Afrik-ID's potential service offerings could enable organisations, businesses and individuals to share certification and identity information via mobile phones in a secure manner. Afrik-ID's solutions could be deployed in a variety of sectors including construction, logistics, mining, sports, healthcare, human rights services, law-enforcement and travel and tourism."
And for those that are small-minded to not see the massive growth and wide adoption of mobile technology, you should get out of your western centric thinking, the world is changing and their is massive opportiny to be had.
His shocking isn't it Hawkes. Anyone who questions the companies credibility and chances of getting the app off the ground were blocked and labeled as derampers. If talking sense and looking at the risks are deramping then call me Mr Deramper. Great point on the "better top up now" brigade. I notice a lot of them have disappeared from this board now.
Zen, Jarvy, Richardjones.
It was clear when they launched the app in Botswana that this wasn't going to end well.
No doubt someone will reply to this post telling me not to be negative. They would rather have this board full of people who only look at the upside CTEA. Quoting african populations as if every citizen there is going to need to app and pay for it.
what are you on about, the app they are trialing in Botswana is an Identify app not the C19 one.
By the sound of the interview with the CEO the C19 app is going to be aligned with Gov / medical institutions and companies so that they will foot the bill and pay the money.
People selling now if they paid more then 3.8p a share are insane, just wait a few weeks for the commercial news.
the whole market is in yoyo state, seems every share is having crazy one day rises and crazy one day crashes.
Hawkes Bay has accurately described my "pinch of salt" reference.
Just re read the RNS on the Covid app no clue as to when news might drop, however the PR at CTEA is pretty good and they keep us updated fairly regularly.
Question is do you have faith that they will deliver orders here ? I do and think the Sp will rocket back up. As usual though all AIM shares must be treated with a large pinch of salt !
Dropping bad today
Judging by the lack of posts on todays BB it seems that all are now LTH and waiting on RNS
Update would be nice but we arent owed anything so soon yet
GLA
'Just' minus 2% so far. It feels like a blue day! :) Looking forward to the bounce.
Top up when you can, when news lands it should be big
Really hoping for something soon to give us a rise in SP
