I think to many people on this bb are getting carried away with themselves and ramping this to high heaven! Football has already got their own app/passport as explained in my previous note so that's out. What everyone is hoping for has somewhat changed as a lot more apps are out and working besides this one. In my view the consortium are a bit slow off the mark as it now should be verified and into the marketplace as if they want big orders then they will have a massive fight on their hands. On saying this for all we know they might have already lined up big companies , that's a big if considering where we are along the line. It's a waiting game, I sold out at 6.37 because I thought it would drop to around 3p, I said I would come back in as I believe in the app and what it is being developed for.
Can we all please get back to sensible discussion and cut out all the back biting and endless ramping with the same repeated verses which people have heard countless times. Have a nice day all and take care if you're out and about as the virus is still heavily around us.
Yeah this is a business 2 business app, Lets say the government took up a contract. That I feel would be under one roof as it where. Passports, visa's, driving licence, qualification's etc etc.
Businesses it would be built into there brand and existing apps as London said.
Thanks, yes that makes more sense.
Maybe I have misunderstood some of this, but thinking it through, if they are going to be (hopefully) selling this to multiple industries each with their on branding, does that mean the public would have to have multiple copies of the app on their phone...I.e. a version to enter an airport, a version to enter hotel chain, a version for sporting events etc ?
The thing I love about this, Is just how many potential industries this can be rolled out into and service. Look at the sports side, even down to certificates for belts etc in marshall arts this could be utilised. Just so many industries that will move to the cloud and digital in the coming months and years.
Thanks everyone for the comments about the post. Hopefully we can see more quality discussions on here today, rather than the schoolyard stuff. It helps no-one.

I presume it will open lower (good chance to top up) and finish in the blue later today ahead of the news of markets opening lower due to US closing slightly in the red.
Hold Strong investors!

Looking forward to a great future with this company.
Africa is a massively growing market, with a grow enriched population, and become the defacto ID app there is a strong foothold to longterm profits.
the apps this company is making are B2B supportive, and that is a big commercial market that spends money on efficiently and peace of mind. The apps that Catenae are making cover this.
Excellent info DG thanks. My thoughts were the same with this. It's a huge numbers game. A test of the sort of population they've got is superb.
I think On site will do well as we see a construction boom to get us back on track economically. Expecting news on that too.
Can see passports and travel visa's/work permits going this way soon to. Especially with Brexit coming..
Thanks for taking the time to respond DG73
So pricing is tricky and that's why I think they are doing a trial in Botswana. With a new scenario like Covid neither the client or the company would know how much it will cost them as they dont know the level of likely server activity. So they offer a trial and price it based on what they learn. CTEA would incorporate their R&D and work to date into those costs per transaction, but we have no way of predicting what that is until we see an RNS with a known user base and an idea of revenue. TBH cost would be tailored to clients individually so this will be closely guarded.
Even though we dont know the pricing, i was really enthused by the Botswana deal for all these reasons.
Thanks DG37 Great to see a post on here that is not people bickering. Do you have any idea how much a corporation would pay per user/licence or white label version? I assume the cost to CTEA is minimal now the technology is built
I just wanted to post some info to clear up some misconceptions I see on the forum and to hopefully make sure posters are as informed as possible. I have no specific info on how CTAE are doing this, but I do have many years experience in B2B apps and software, so I hope it helps:
So this is Business to Business (B2b) not consumer. this means that commercialisation is not about getting the app onto app stores for a few pennies, it's about getting companies and organisations with large user bases.
The way a company will pay for the app will be related to how much they use the server(s), so that's why I was excited about the Botswana deal. It has a potentially large user base, with lots of 'transactions' meaning revenue will likely be healthy.
The Botswana deal also will act as a case study for similar organisations around the world and will help bring in more business.
It's also useful to think of the app (the bit you download) as just a dumb terminal, which will likely be available free. The 'special stuff' is done on servers using CTEA's IP and is done within a 'walled garden' that means an organisation feels like it is in control of its own data. This is why the talk of 'free apps' being competitors, just doesn't wash. Big Orgs with big user bases want to pay for a bespoke, secure, walled off service - no ads, no uncertainties over who is watching. This also means that COV-ID will likely be Whitelabelled/licenced to look like an existing organisation's product. This is normal and doesn't affect revenue as CTEA are making money off of what is happening on the servers.
CTEA's approach is likely to be about creating an onboarding process for a company to get them up and running quickly, with a branded app that their employees/users can download for free and then charge the parent company for server activity.
So we want to see RNS's involving organisations with large user bases and ongoing needs - public health boards, industry sectors, education providers etc.
I hope this helps but just to reiterate this is only based on my relevant experience and research not on any knowledge of CTEA specifics.
