@midlands - Yeah for me this is never a global panacea app. It's a B2B app with good commercial take up prospects. I don;t agree with those who are overly optimistic and under-researched.
Still think it's a good prospect though
@DG ... that's not the same authentication pattern needed for a global rollout is it?
And that's what the cheerleaders are hoping for.
@midlands
My perception is that because this is organisational/business and not about members of the public, it works the same way as security badges already do -i.e. HR already knows who everyone is and they 'upload' all the creds/qualifications and/or medical status. Verifications is against that database/ledger - the single point of truth.
I feel pre-covid everyone was comfortable with entry systems (badges/passes) etc, where data was seen by a few people. Now that medical details may determine whether you enter a building they can't just be seen by anyone. So that's where digital passporting comes into it's own. Whether its blockchain or not is not a huge deal - its just CTEA are in the right place at the right time with a valid GDPR compliant solution. (If they get a move on)
@fact ha ha ... glad to have amused you. DK is a firm favourite of mine :)
Hope business is going ok in these difficult times.

Totally agree, but behind the scenes the viability is driven by the reality.
No one is doubting the intent is a good idea, but practically, work through some use cases:
* I flash my phone at you and present a photo and one time QR ...
* What do you do ? How are my details verified?
We've all been guilty of building and over-extending POC's early in our careers I'm sure, and there's nothing wrong with that. But right here, right now, that ambition is resulting in people investing their hard earned money, and for some already losing it ... so we need facts, not "Global potential !"
Hope that makes sense
@midlands
I agree about lack of clarity on what's being used. My impression is that CTEA are 'moulding' the tech into something that is benefits-led to make it attractive to business. The people that commission this (CFO's and MD's) will not be overly concerned about the detail of blockchain, however, they will be happy that it works, is GDPR compliant and ready to go. Whether it passes subsequent scrutiny from their IT teams is the big question and I suspect why its taking a while to get sales in the door.
He doesn't interact ... I'm happy to have a sensible conversation.
And re: your point that depends on whether this outfit are starting again or building their own which is unclear.
I think saying 'Sharebel's back.. Question's ready' then saying you won't interact is a bit closed-minded. We could all learn a lot from each other's experiences. Positive and negative.
The discussions about blockchain and platform scalability are valid. Does the testing that ChainzY have already done not count?
Sharebel, it's not personal but I won't be interacting with you. Google "Dunning-Kruger"
Midlands - do you rely on other investors to spoon feed you? I suggest if you’re unaware of the products and how they work you call the company directly. Your complete agenda is on show for all to see. How much have you invested in CTEA? I wonder if the Higgs might like lesson on investment from you? Filtered.
