...remember at the end of March Guy posted £20K worth of his shares in an ISA (at the then 2.4p mind you), not something you would do if you are expecting a disaster. Sounds like he would have thought it was a winning plan to max out his ISA at that time, 4 weeks ago. So.....
With the shambolic test and trace app, NHS just simply can’t deliver such systems. It will most certainly be companies like CTEA are others delivering for them!
Anyone heard from JAdam recently? Just wondering if you are still with us here in CTEA land, kind Sir, or if perhaps you have bailed out. I'm stuck here right now, a tickle under water, sadly....
There is still a good number of people buying in today which shows its not a complete lost cause. I still have hope its going to do something exciting.
I don't know enough about these things so excuse the question if its a really obvious answer. Could the NHS app be powered or supported by CTEA technology or could they provide a consultant role in its development and operation?
Alamo, yes I bought in higher, but only a speculative punt. If it drops down any further I may consider averaging down, but it will not be big bucks
Sure, and that's not a surprise to anyone here, I trust. It's obvious it would be via the NHS app.
Sky news - NHS app to be used as coronavirus passport for international travel.. Grant Shapps Confirms
....tuvok, and there speaks someone who has been xxxxed rotten by investing on a spike and is now well down. This is now a traders share not an investment share. It dumps to 2/ 2.40 then pumps to 3/ 3.6, when people realise that then they'll make money. I put in again yesterday and will sell in the trading range which has been active for months now.
And Perhaps you should s*d off mentioning other shares on this board
Sad to see that you sold out and now are trafficking people to ctna. Would make more sense to invest here rather than on a peak in ctna.
.....people should invest in Ctna rather than here, upward curve since suspension.
It’s not the app that’s key, there will likely be hundreds, it’s the ecosystems that the app runs on that has the ability to communicate from incoming travellers with NHS back end systems. It must be able to port the international air travel app, Virolens apps, LFT apps etc securely and GDR compliantly to and from a range of systems. That’s where the blockchain comes in.
The NHS does not have a good track record with scalable tech. Nor does CTEA yet but my point is it’s not just about an NHS app.
Also I doubt there will be news before the elections else it can be seen as electioneering by the opposition who have reservations about an ‘app’ or covid passport.
This is high risk but game very much still on hence the volatility.
Chuck a few quid in here and switch off. If it comes good happy days if not you win some loose some.
Usual caveats

I`m afraid Bradley DG73 is right. You can justify your investment by ****ging off others but all he`s done is stated the facts. The only way you`ll make money on this is selling on a spike. Like was discussed on here yesterday the companies normal trick is to say nothing for months on this bb there will be a lot of upset people demanding news but remember last autumn nothing came for 3 months. Truth of it they`ve had a year to get on with it and not a penny`s worth sold. Now everyone will be on the NHS app which CTEA will be nothing to with.
quite the opposite Bradley, but as I say, I said my piece, up to you if you disagree. Good Luck.
No you dont DG73. You just want to see people lose money and the company to suffer because you feel bitter and angry. Its in your nature to be spiteful just like the other derampers.
"Posters have been saying that for weeks!
My consistent question which has been dodged everytime is how are they going to monetise the offering?
All apps are being offered for free as far as I can see."
Don't expect an answer to this Clive. CTEA have never mentioned it. Maybe this is because they wouldn't like investors knowing how little a cut they'd get seeing as they don't own the IP. This is if they ever actually make a sale.
Its fine if you dont sell. I just feel better having got that off my chest. My conscience is clear. I was an advocate of this share last year, but the repeated failure to capitalise promptly on the opportunity, lost me money and I didnt want anyone else to suffer the same fate.
Good Luck to those who wish to persist. Just look into the fundamentals before you risk too much. There are no sales, no IP, few staff, no 'big contracts'. There is no justification for its current MCAP and no strategy to get there.
What's everyone's thoughts on the "major UK mobile operator" deal ? Do you think Guy will go for the Samsung Galaxy S21 with unlimited minutes, texts and data for £55 a month or a Nokia 3310 and payg sim ? Covid App in Botswana ? ZYen the world's fastest most secure blockchain in the world no one has ever heard of or uses? lol
The NHS app could easily be using an external integration. Plenty of apps out there do it, including most of the ones that installed on your own phones. Yes this company isn't proven or revenue generating but stranger things have happened
Cards on the table, I've been spiked @ 3.4, but still think the risk, reward ratio on this share is massive. So happy to sit it out and wait for news..

News is always close when the de rampers descend
Exactly, I'm not selling until we get an RNS or update from Guy.
I'm not selling I've heard this bitter de ramping on loads of other boards.
Are having a field day with bed wetters selling here today! All that’s been announced is they using NHS app that was pretty much obvious, the NHS app hasn’t just pulled the technology out the air they will be working with someone which could be us it might not be but to be selling today on that news is madness! Ignore the clowns here trying to drive the price down they’ll be ramping once they got their buy in price! Cretins!
