So the app can interact with the COVID testing process and securely log personal data and certificates/documents for sharing between companies and other official bodies.
Has anyone considered whether it could also be applied further down the line to record those who have had the vaccine? There may come a point where employers and officials want to see people have had the vaccine before they're allowed to travel or work around the world. Such huge potential for CTEA if they can continue to broaden their coverage.
Can someone email this as a question to Guy Meyer and see what he has to say?
Oh no, you've uncovered my not at all a secret identity. I never once said I could hack blockchain on either platform so you're making things up in that little head of yours again.
Blockchain is expensive compared to the other options. Its the cpu requirements. So as they're going to run an app on some form of computer then if ones more expensive than another that makes it expensive in comparison.
According to the ctea website. Covid and onsite are different products. It says in the RNS you quoted that NPH have signed up for onsite. Not covid.
Yes, some noddy companies are using CTEAs blockchain offerings from pre covid. Does that mean its not expensive. I dont know how much it costs and neither do you. To say that something can't be expensive because someone has bought it doesn't make sense. If I bought a ferrari tomorrow does that mean theyre not expensive.
I love how you think you've done all this great detective work by finding me on twitter. Im not exactly shy in my criticism of CTEA on there.
I'm not arguing with you anymore over this. Its pointless and is starting to feel petty. Its probably annoying other people on this board.
I'm going away for 2 months now so enjoy another 2 months of no profit being made. Im sire there will be another fluffy update or 2 in that time. Nothing with any numbers in it for CTEA. Just more jam tomorrow.
So CTEA announces a commercial contract with NPH for Onsite-ID, which flAIM thrower (CTEA Twitter troll) who confessed to being a Senior Systems Engineer working for a 5bn company - as does crizmo below - does not believe has any money attaching to it. That is funny.
crizmo still hasn't read and understood the RNSs - COV-ID is part of Onsite-ID and being used to allow NPH to get employees safely back to work and interact with its customers.
I didn't quote anyone directly in my post but if the cap fits. So when you talk about the cost of Blockchain being expensive hence why nobody has bought it - wrong 2x given Firedoor is also using it - that doesn't translate to Blockchain being "too expensive"? Hmm backtracking much.
Recommend you research Blockchain instead of playing PS4 all day. We all know about hashrate and growing network security, but the idea of you sitting there in your bedsit being able to hack the Blockchain is laughable.
Trouble is, everything you write down can be traced - no need for a Blockchain to track and trace our 5bn-dollar-senior.
You've forgotten your tablets again. Reported.
I'm just sat here, waiting for my apology from you, after you called me a liar DShox. Only for me to prove you wrong.
Try the website and google searches and then many of your points will be clearer. There's a wealth of educational material freely available on the internet.
This all comes back to what I have mentioned several times. What benefit is blockchain to CovID?
The CovID app is not track and trace - all it does is securely hold your covid test result. Normal encryption is perfectly adequate for that - just as used by other apps already in use, like Halo.
CTEA may have a very advanced app, but equally CTEA have no past track record in selling anything. Stating in interviews that there has been great interest means nothing if you have no selling skills and there are competing apps out there backed by established companies.
Any company or government department would look at ALL the apps available, not just one. And there is absolutely nothing in the CTEA company background/history of CTEA to choose CTEA over others - unless the app does things that the others do not. And CovID does not.
Crizmo, I'm a developer for Blockchain and it's already pervasive throughout the world for many Dapps....but you already knew that! As for speed, depends which chain you're looking at , as trust me, speed isn't an issue.....far from the contrary.
The Govt's around the world are trying to adopt their own central bank (and even applies to Commercial Banks) digital currency but it's not really decentralised like BC. Their way in trying to keep tabs on the mass population.
Afrik-ID CTO (Nigel) works with Catenae's CFO & Co-Sec (John) at Beacon digital marketing, co-founded by Nigel in 2017.
Nigel joined Afrik-ID in June and interestingly John changed role from CFO of Beacon to become 'Director'.
At the turn of July, lots happened. Catenae launched Onsite-ID incl COV-ID functionality and signed a pilot with Afrik-ID.
From Proactive interview a month ago, we know Catenae and BHA Medical were talking about a JV from around the same point.
On 25 August we learned Onsite-ID was upgraded, in particular COV-ID and first commercial deal signed with NPH.
Subsequently a JV with BHA signed and then shortly afterwards, MoU signed to access the JV.
Last week flights resumed with embedded test & trace requirements in Southern Africa and we now know land borders will open on 01 Dec with similar requirements.
SADC population is c.450m people.
Combined track record and leverage of Afrik-ID, BHA and Catenae connections and track record internally and with governments and institutions point toward deals.
Why are you putting things in quotes that I haven't even posted?
"Imagine a world where when somebody posts there's "been no commercial sales", "no interest" because "Blockchain's too expensive", one could instantly test its accuracy."
I have never posted "been no commercial sales". If you read my post I said "Still no paying customers for CovID" which is 100% true.
I guess you're right. I can't say for certain that there has been no interest. Maybe someone enquired about CovID and then decided against buying it. I can say that no-one has bought the product though.
The third 'Quote' "Blockchain's too expensive" is another figment of your imagination. I never said that either. Here's what I said
"Blockchain is expensive. That would be my guess to the main reason as to why no-one wants CovID."
I'm not sure what your first paragraph is about
"The most opportune time to highlight the core proposition of Blockchain - it records, in the most secure manner possible, the immutable truth so that all stakeholders can record, trust and transact data and value"
That's not true. It's not the most secure manner possible. Until a blockchain is running at a certain scale, it's actually easier to compromise than a more traditional model.
So, I made one statement, about there being no interest, that I can't verify. The rest is, as you put it. The Immutable truth.
If you want to look at people posting lies. Maybe you want to look below at some statements you've made recently.
"Newcastle Health has bought COV-ID and Guy describes the value in building credibility. An insurance industry company is also using it." Lies. No-one has bought Cov-ID. NPH are trialing Onsite-ID. Not CovID
"but almost every single top rank business is quietly investing into Blockchain". Got any proof of that. I work in tech for a company worth over 5bn. We looked at blockchain and decided it's too costly. It's also slower than traditional infrastructure. It can't do as many transactions per second. I'm sure, being a blockchain expert, you already knew that though.
Very well said - and as was stated by both CEOs in the recent proactive interview- this JV will not be just covid.
Any longer term holders know what was keeping the SP above the 10p region early 2019?
They key thing here is that this JV isn't just for Covid but for any other infectious diseases.....which is unfortunately pervasive through African continent.
They can now begin to accurately record the spread.
CTEA recruited the man that created BBCiPlayer. At a mkt cap of £6m and many shots on goal you can’t go far wrong. Huge potential upside - not counting the covid test, track& trace with their JV partners at BHA
bunsen.....cliff edge speech by Meyer definitely instils me towards a 10 bag here
Just reading BBC - Basically saying even with a vaccine testing will be here for years if not forever. Just need to hold tight. Unlike say ODX - there’s no downside here. We’re at £6m mkt cap with potential to be £50m+ but realistically on contract news we see £20m+. £50m+ will come with more news & contracts. 4 bags will do me!
Agreed
Im swaying towards an RNS next week
GLA
Cannot believe CTEA has a mkt cap of £6m when it’s quite clear we are so very close to delivering some big contracts. I honestly believe we could be in double figures next week. Yes I’ve said it. You can remind me next week. Call me a ramper at 4.30 next Friday... or call me a realist
just got a gut feel we'll hear some big positive news on the JV next week - heres hoping!
Yep can sell above Bid. Looks like MMs want stock and trying to keep spread wide.
????
Hey buddy, I just tried selling my entire holding and got a quote on HL. Perhaps try again
Crizmo, just stick some money in and some pussy footing about......... you know it's the right thing to do!!!
The most opportune time to highlight the core proposition of Blockchain - it records, in the most secure manner possible, the immutable truth so that all stakeholders can record, trust and transact data and value. Imagine a stock chat forum where the identity and motivation of the individual is clear for all to see, whether someone holds a stock or not, and whether the content shared is truthful or not. Imagine a world where when somebody posts there's "been no commercial sales", "no interest" because "Blockchain's too expensive", one could instantly test its accuracy.
From regulated news release:
Guy Meyer, Chief Executive Officer of Catenae, said: "We are pleased to have secured our first commercial sale for the Onsite ID app which has just undergone a version upgrade [in this same RNS, the Onsite-ID app upgrade was to enhance COV-ID functionality - yes the app is linked]. This sale is testament to the app's effectiveness in managing workforces and providing safety in controlled environments, given its multi-purpose functionality. Our human-focused technologies are designed to mitigate risks for businesses, their people and their customers and I am pleased to see our latest product performing well in these challenging times.

Very important one does their own research.
The immutable truth.
I'm still waiting for you to point out what I posted that was misinformation Shox.
It must have been someone else on here. My mistake, sorry. Its always followed by "why do you care then?"
