Well, as an investor I personally take comfort in the fact that there is some calculated timing with the SP in mind. I'd be more worried if there wasn't.
Promising to see Guy moving funds for possible tax benefits too. Logic would state you'd do that at a lower price to maximise allowance - thus you'd think something to influence the SP higher may be coming.
GL all
On the basis other more concrete news was considered "puff" and not disclosed until the day of the 2p placing and the day following, yes.
CTEA have so much going on. Im hopeful of something coming up from their JV with BHA Medical. Also, that they secure their covid passports with the uk goverment & the testing & trace with the scottish govermnet. Things are falling into place very nicely
Somebody is feeling confident, putting in 27k isn’t small change .
Let me answer this , this company is a terrible investment led by a hopeless self centred bod. In the long term if you hold this then you are deluding yourself. I hold here on the small off chance that for once using the broken clock analogy that these jokers might get lucky as they are in the right market at the right time. That is a world away from securing any contract s though. If they do then this will spike and money will be made. I don't buy and sell this at all I've just got an amount in here in case a miracle does occur. Will it ? Probably not but if it does you could double treble your money. Indeed this isn't any sort of investment just a punt. Like Jadam says let's see where it is in amonth.
Natham - You could just as easily say "why are there rampers"!
If you truly do not believe in the product or company why waste your time on this bb? Lol
Go do something better with your lives, unless you are trying to be our knight in shinning armour saving us from a further dip (which i 100% dont believe to be the case...)
De-rampers are a good thing though, means they are want shares which means price will tick up again shortly
De-ramp away :D
The RNS's refer to two separate products at the moment.
1. (today) COVID-Status Certification Review'
2. (22/2/21) Digital Identity Policy Consultation - consultation period 6 months
I'm not convinced that either has legs, and even if they do, the sectors most affected are either already trialling systems (eg BA and Verifly) or railing against them (licensed trade)
Todays RNS is pointless, all they've done is say they've completed an on-line survey.
However, at this price it's a bargain. At worst it will be pumped back up to 4p ish again, at best it might fly. Back in with a small amount.
Hence the RNS
So decision has to be on the horizon they can’t sit on it forever - like I said I believe it’s not a matter of time if but when we have digital Covid Passports and our Covid blockchain secure (already feeding info securely into the NHS system )app is ready to be rolled out - who else would be providing if it wasn’t us? We are working and being consulted from the view of a ‘future service provider’ as per the original RNS so it has to be us. Tick tock make your positions before the herd cotton on that this is happening.

Was this morning's RNS 'puff', or was it more of a formality given that I believe that no previous RNS had actually stated they had contributed, rather that they were offered/invited to?
It is funny, whatever side of the fence you are on, you can interpret exactly the same news in very contrasting ways.
At least it's never dull, eh.
Indeed it is Clive - I'm under no illusion!
My point was that the risk reward ratio here should be favourable as it's priced in that they're currently not generating revenue - add to that that sentiment seems very low, and I think it makes for a very undervalued stock.
Ultimately the cream will be in if they're able to secure any contracts - that is all speculation, but I feel they're well placed and have dedicated efforts on positioning themselves.
Funny how CTEA is more forthcoming with "puff" following the 2p placing with insiders. Almost like Guy is trying to inject some liquidity into the stock immediately following rubbish news.
'This company is valued as if it were not generating any revenue'
It isn't though is it?
All that is needed is some meat on the bones of any of the trials (no need to name) or an explanation of how they expect to monetise the platform via a charging structure.
Too slow and far too vague but never say never.
GL.
Agreed, look at this BB about the share 2-3 weeks ago it was the best thing since sliced bread. how the sentiment can change is ridiculous.

You know the bottom is approaching when the derampers come in in their swathes.
The positive spin to this is that they up their ante when they feel they're close to wanting in, to maximise the price reduction and catch investors at their most vulnerable state of mind.
The vast majority of these naysayers will be buying in when they're happy they've hit their target buy in price, likely in a coordinated fashion and causing a surge in buying.
Though none will admit it (not now at least).
Sadly, many are influenced heavily by the scary words plastered on social media, especially when the SP is down.
DYOR, make your own evaluations. If you believe this is positioned to capitalise but are feeling the heat from negative posts, maybe best just switching the boards off and coming back less frequently.
This company is valued as if it were not generating any revenue - so a logical mind would think the upside here would be greater than the downside, with the opportunities afoot.
GL, don't panic and DYOR
Good points guys, I'd totally forgotten about the major mobile operator (then so obviously have the board )and there again there has been radio silence on our famous Africa project. Mobile operator may not be disco but burger van outside Stamford bridge. You wouldn't believe it would you!
What happened to the "major UK mobile operator" Catenae are working with ? Mobile what? Disco. Guy unloading his PA equipment from his sooty van down at the local sports centre for Tracy's hen night, maybe Mr & Mrs Higgs have put a drink behind the bar for Guy "All shout outs and requests are GDPR compliant" Don't forget your milk crate Guy with your 12" M People vinyl "One night in heaven, one night in heaven"
I tell you what, that DaveT bloke on ADVFN is spot on, really knows his stuff.
The thing I don’t get is the tie up in Africa . We have a lateral flow test to sell but no info on how that is going .
I don't think the comparisons are chalk and cheese from a sales point of view. Neither have sold anything and we are waiting for sales news from both. Again what you can't ignore is that this bod were primed last summer for the famous loads of interest quote. Since then chuf f all. You make some points then digress into the usual you're not invested (which I am) and why wouldn't anyone whose invested in anything want to here both sides of the story! Remember last autumn when investors were screaming for an update and they said nothing for 6 months because like now there's nothing to say.
Hyper - they entered the U.K. government consultation from the view as a ‘future service provider’...perhaps read previous RNS? It’s a big deal...nay huge deal and significance.

Shares are looking cheap now
Thats why I topped up anothe 196,000 shares yesterday

Like I said yesterday, politics is involved. The government has to time the announcement perfectly as to stifle ant potential backlash . There won’t be a RNS. Detailing any contract until the government has played its card .
The RNS isn't going to announce a contract until the government announces that they will be using Passports and answers the questions about the ethical response. The answer isn't going to come through CTEA share holder instead information but for sure we will be involved in a product in the future.
Jadam I'll take you on in that comparison. We'll see what happens in the next month with both these companies. Both have no sales yet one I m supremely confident in one the other not. You only have to read their own rns 's to see the difference. A really relevant example being can't even file a set of accounts with no income yet on the verge of applying for govt contracts and today's hopeless and nothing rns. Says it all really
Re vaccine passports/digital id etc, these are indeed all givens, they will happen. Question for a private company (yes, I am invested here), does that single company expect to get revenue (win the jackpot?) from a single government contract? Can't be done, UK Govt is not going to licence a private co app for national strategic use. Tactical, maybe. IT can licence the tech and make it a national app, white label, as it where as part of the NHS app, or a digital ID certificate? A while off, I fear. LTH for me.
