It was an open consultation. CTEA weren’t specifically asked personally, all companies in this sector were asked to participate. I really doubt that a small company with few staff, no IP and no ability to scale up will be awarded a
Contract over the likes of Capita, NHS England etc.
What are the chances of Ctea getting involved here, I know we were asked for input by the Government, which is a great start but do we stand a chance with the NHS app and other major players in this field. Hopefully it's the government's intention to allow several players to participate in it's rollout and not just let one company have a monopoly ....gla ....a small piece of the action could be a game changer here and on the flip side...bottom drawer share.
Looks like another gov u-turn on the way.

History repeating itself Mitch, as same happed with Milestone Blockchain Music Publishing Platform!!
Why do you think CTEA can beat Netcompany to the vaccine passport app market?
Have you seen one single press article or release to say that CTEA specifically has a "vaccine passport app" ready to go? I haven't.
And do you seriously think CTEA, an AIM company with no signficant staff or offices and no revenue producing contracts, can compete with a company like Netcompany:-
https://www.netcompany.com/en-GB
or with the UK NHS app, which is already being worked on to become a vaccine passport app IF the UK decides it is needed.
As regards an international travel passport app, CTEA are not in the running for that anywhere. Every major airline in the world is already adaptingand testing their own online check-in apps to securely hold vaccination and/or test result details, plus paper copies will be accepted as a back up anyway.
CTEA's only hope for any contract related to vaccine apps will be with private companies who want secure admittance to their offices for their staff. But companies will not adopt anything unless they are legally obligated to, and there are many offices that already have staff back working in them without using any admittance apps.
CTEA were ahead of the market on this a year ago, but basically did not have the selling skills to get anywhere with it.
Nigel Huddleston, the sports minister, said this week that there was “a goal” of filling Wembley for the Euro football championship semi-finals and final in July but it would be a challenge. A combination of lateral flow tests and vaccine passports could be used to give access. Pilot schemes are expected in the next few weeks.
Botham says he is hopeful that for England’s one-day international against Sri Lanka at the end of June, Durham’s stadium at Chester-le-Street could be 50 per cent full. “But if you do lateral flow tests, there’s no reason you couldn’t have a full house.” He is offering Durham and S****horpe as venues for pilot schemes.
Who has a health system based in that area and is located their .

Tbh, I am really not following why anyone thinks CTEA would be in the running for any UK gov't contract. Boris is not going to stand up and say "and the winner is Catenae" anytime soon. What am I missing. Sure, they are on consulting panels etc, but anything from the Gov't will be via NHS app. Too late to licence in any POC work, surely. Contracts with private companies etc, sure, but if I was a corporate, pub, restaurant, venue, airline etc, I'd be happy to accept the gov't ID. Have I lost the plot? Yes, I am a shareholder, for the wildcard.
I remember being in MTV s#? +, I just hope these will turn out better
Lots of headlines in papers about passports and mostly views from those against. Both sides have a reasonable argument but both seem to agree vaccines passports are needed for international travel.
So a common ground = passports to travel across borders = back door, soft introductions to passports.
I doubt many youngsters won’t miss out on a trip to Ibiza for a principle stand against passports!
All playing out nicely. We just need a BoD that can score in an open goal!

High risk very high reward. But I am in as I think covid passports will be around for a while. Masks will also be back during the winter. So it's worth a punt but not risking to much
Yes of course. If they were guaranteed a contract the SP would be miles higher.
I’m sure I’ve read somewhere in the last year that this companies software can also be sold as an integration into existing platforms bit like upgrading parts in a machine so we could very well be bolting something onto the existing NHS app that the current tool Can’t do effectively
Frankly, that's a mere gamble...being in discussion doesn't guarantee a contract sadly but here's hoping
Biglad - that’s the past - you need to see we are entering a completely different landscape with COVID now and a new chapter. The foundations take time to lay but this will become the norm and the ability to win contracts now should become a whole lot easier as governments, people and businesses start to plan their own roadmaps out of this to run smoothly. The new normal is that we will all (same as masks that people railed against) be using a secure Covid passport style APP on our phones to travel, work and play. Globally we have the ability to hit the ground running and provide a ready to go working secure blockchain backed tech system. Time to look to the future now and I think we will all be handsomely rewarded going up from these SP levels.

Hi Dave, The Telegraph piece mentioned 12 events Inc FA Cup and Snooker World Championships and poss Brit Awards. It did talk about using an updated NHS app which is hopefully where our tech could feature behind the scenes. The piece was published last night at 9.30pm. Just sharing the article so hopefully derampers won't attack! Not that I am putting you in that category Dave at all as you merely asked a question.
Here is another article which talks about pilot events.
"The plan is to make the certification available on a modified NHS app, which would detail whether a person has had a vaccination, or a recent test, or has antibodies to the virus, having previously tested positive."
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/apr/01/boris-johnson-gives-backing-to-domestic-use-of-covid-passports
The way I read it, the pilot schemes will just be different events etc. It also mentions using a modified NHS app.
The Telegraph are reporting that the PM will announce a number of pilot passport schemes for large upcoming sports events on Monday. Fingers crossed we are among them!
Ctea developed app approx 1 year ago.
CEO interviewed at time declaring there "had been loads of interest" from potential customers.
(Potential customers included Badminton England and a small private hospital in Newcastle)
These potential customers were converted to customers Unfortunately these customers and other randomly mentioned potential/real customers like a major mobile operator. (See previous posts on could be mobile disco/burger can in South London area), paid the company no money but investors were relieved that customers were me ntioned at all. Even non paying ones were better than none not including of course relatives of the board of directors.
Sales manager also employed at this time but has been seemingly more successful in sales prevention than sales development. (Note to CEO to amend job title to Sales prevention manager)
Also African project opened at this but due to postal delays and no one had a match to start sending the smoke signals inevitably imminent news has been delayed.
Having said that even though we didn't have much money to count we couldn't file any accounts as we had fun out of fag packets to write on. (Cleaner was heard to say at coffee machine that she hoped this wouldn't effect the companies prospects of winning a zillion pound contract with the govt.)
Investors continue to wait for the company to build on its astounding success from last year !
Casual journal love that optimism " of course we won't win every contact" they've been at it a year and haven't won , one yet. Well I mean a customer that's wanted to actually to pay for the product rather than have it for free.
