Very interesting when you scroll down to the comments. People are convinced that a Covid pass is the incarnation of Big Brother-style intrusion into privacy. Are they not aware of how their mobile phones/Alexa devices already spy on them, monitor their movements and conversations? Wake up and smell the coffee, this is minuscule in the scheme of things.
Last chance to get in sub 3p, graph has an upward trend on the 4hour chart

He did mention looking at some sort of certificate includes testing immunity vaccines etc but not applicable before may 19th easing / seems they are in discussion IMHO
Did anyone catch this press conference ?
At least it isn’t falling , more buys than sells today
Some buying. Easy really, buying and the price goes up, more sells and the op happens
Bullish divergences are starting to show more heavily on timeframes up to 4 hours. I wouldn't be surprised to see a very significant bounce in the coming week, though there may be a further decline before this. Sub 2p seems unlikely at this point, but I wouldn't be surprised if its manipulated down to test that level.
This agrees with how this stock has worked historically, rise on news and pullback on silence.
I'm banking on the fact that this time, the news will be more substantial or regular as the next few weeks should see contracts being given out to deploy this.
Longer timeframes this appears to be in a triangle correction since the impulse up in April 2020. Basic fibonacci levels would indicate somewhere between 15-17.5p in the next month or two, which I think are very achievable levels.
Remember, we aren't dependent on the UK here. I think the JV with BHA is actually one of our strongest plays, as testing and certification will be a more ethical and arguably effective use of controlling the virus, and won't go anywhere quickly. https://www.synovateglobal.com/about-us

hope this will move from here / it hit 3 p yesterday is the MM playing
hoping for any good news
why the sudden spike to 2.75?
Dibble. Avacta is in a field of its own. I cannot find a connection myself, accept both companies are offering services in battle against coronavirus.
I believe what your trying to ask, is coronavirus here to stay and will the market remain for services provided by Ctea and Avacta. Personally I do not believe coronavirus is going anywhere.
I am not keen on discussing other companies, so perhaps you should go to the Avacta board.

on sky news just now. i wonder if Boris will talk about a Covid certificate in the announcement tonight.

As a long-suffering Avacta holder (and here too of course), I think that both are essential parts of the Gov's strategy to get us out of lockdown but also to keep us there and be prepared for future pandemics. Avacta's news is clinical validation not just of their Covid antigen test but also of the power of their diagnostic platform - affimers.
This means that instead of announcing a Vaccine passport (which has been rightly criticised for being divisive) The gov can introduce a Covid status pass - such as Gove is currently investigating in Israel.
AVCT and CTEA are both parts of the jigsaw in my opinion.

Has anyone seen the rns at avacta ? How will this effect us
Guy put some of his shares in an ISA , could there be a time frame imposed for him to do that before important news arrives . Say a month .
My betting is that he will reveal the news that the UK has secretly been producing a supply of supremely reliable lateral flow tests that will detect contagiousness with sensitivity of 100% and specificity of 98% (See Avacta RNS today.)
This means that we can truly test our way out of lockdown in a way that is not divisive of society. Instead of avaccine passport, he will surely announce a digital Covid status pass that offers three forms of proof of Covid safety
- Evidence of Vaccination
- Evidence of previous infection (Antibody test)
- Evidence of current non-contageousness (Antigen test.)
Good news coming for CTEA!

This will continue to drop until news lands

The CEO appears on the ball?.....The good news is that he is, the bad news is he is playing for Sheff It's and too many goals shipped means relegation!
How is this still dropping????
Agree with tuvok 100% some news from Guy would not only put all the dildos in their place , good news would also send the sp flying up and that's what we all want!
Does anyone have any idea about timeframe on this announcement?
The trick with the AIM is half and half again intended capital investment. The stradegy makes investing interesting, fun and rewarding. I invest with the view of holding atleast 12 months.
I still maintain a lot of friction occurs on these boards, because some over expose themselves and take risky decisions.
The bottom line with this company is gaining a government contract. The odds are 50/50 imop. If success is achieved, then great. If everything goes south, then it was worth the gamble.
The CEO appears on the ball, so I remain happy with my investment decision of buying and holding.
Sky news just reported that Gove who is the main man in all of this as he’s doing the review has stated that smartphone app is the way forward .
Poor on biz by, stuck in 88e the biggest recent pump & dump. And we are expected to listen to what that clueless investing cretin has to say. LOL
