Am in vested here , just don't think because of what has happened in the last year that things are looking good. I'm sure passports will be used widely but it unlikely to be anything to do with this company as the last year non progress has shown
This wont be the only pandemic you will witness in your life time
Contingence plans need to be drawn up. We are also moving away from paper to a wireless way of self identification.
Plenty of scope here, if you arent in this share id suggest maybe invest your time elsewhere?
lol
Pandemic will have been and gone when this lot get their act together!
Greatness takes time - its not everyday you have a worldwide pandemic and need covid passports
When this goes itll melt faces :D
You're right Natham. I'm sure there will be one of the following coming up soon which you'll no doubt see as a good thing
Another contract with no monetary value
Another trial that leads to nothing
A MOU signed somewhere in the third world with a company that has no office address listed and is using an almost identical website and app naming convention
Another Joint venture where you get 0% from sales of tests alone so you end up giving the app included package away for free to 1 badminton tournament
Derampers seem to slowly be coming back
Keep it up, can only mean one thing for us

I`d expect us to have several paying customers because there`s several small organisations who have trialled it but in a year no body has been willing to pay for it. We were in talks with a major mobile provider and numerous other customers but none of that has turned into income. (I don`t really see why that would change now in that they had to make capital out of this at the start) I note that we are apparently in talks with a fortune 500 company and indeed we should see what come of that. (Though based on previous track records I wouldn`t get too excited about that.)
As for the Botswana trial I think we`ve been waiting 8 months for news on that so I don`t think you`ll here much about that wheeze again.
Two important points there was a window which is rapidly closing to provide private companies with the app this will be superseded by a govt app which everyone will just use.
I agree with your comments re the SP a slow bleed followed by a massive spike or back to 1.5p
I am invested here but having looked at BBI which is part of the UKRTC https://www.bbisolutions.com/en/category/digital I am thinking the govt are likely to go with them?!
Anyone know what's happened to the afrik I'd trial..no news for several months.
Roll on news
Fortune 500 construction company
Mobile provider
Afric-ID
Updates on working alongside the government with potential covid passports
those are a few just to mention, so we are not waiting on one department for ground braking news we have a few that should be with is very shortly

Biglad, how do you expect us to have had several paying customers when formal adoption hasn't actually taken place in the UK?
We've had trials running for months, only now are they talking about trialing this at Gov/country level with businesses. If anything, I'd say we're ahead of the game in that respect.
We are due to hear back on the fortune 500 company trial at the end of April/start of May. That will be great timing.
We may not win the huge contracts, but I believe catenae will profit one way or another from all of this.
Either way, the negativity will continue here until another announcement. Naturally, the SP will lower until news. I'd be surprised if we didnt have at least 2 or 3 RNS' released by the first week of May, and even more surprised if they weren't positive.
DYOR, I'm not going to ramp this share and say it's going to rise now (see my last post and comments here) but I think the slow bleed will be followed by a strong rise.

This board is fairly mature, thanks for the decent responses. Alamo, you mention 5, can you provide the names of these companies as I'd like to do some research into them and try to establish how they are ahead etc.
Unfortunately for all is investors here he has a pretty poor record of upping his game. If this was likely to succeed this would by now being used by several paying customers firstly in the private sector and then public sector. The results of the trials would have been trumpeted and volumes of users would have been steadily increasing. Obviously you can though go new clients with a successful and proven track record. They haven't done any of this in a year which is why they are once again firmly behind everyone else
Would they not potentially be bound by NDAs if the government are involved? Just a thought...
Ctea are relatively in the championship rather than the premier league compared to at least 5 others I could mention. Unless Guy ups his game we are feeding off scraps!
Exactly we've had several trials over the last year and the company haven't bothered to report on any which says a lot really. I'd also suggest that the UK govt is likely to go with something proven that can deal with similar volumes like the one the Danes are using. It's a massive jump to go from Badminton England to 40 million + people.
I'm happy with my investment here and the small decline in share price doesn't concern me. As stated a few times on this board and in the news it is only matter of time until the covid passports become compulsory and in my opinion this will be undertaken via an app on smart phones. As soon as positive news is released this will jump to new highs. Other companies in the mix I understand, however, ctea seem very well placed here. Good luck all
Only a matter of time till we follow suit like most things in the EU
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-56812293
Football fans will be allowed into stadiums from Wednesday and bars, restaurants and museums are reopening as Denmark takes a big foot forward in lifting its coronavirus restrictions. The big condition for Danes to take advantage of these new freedoms is that they must prove they are infection-free, by showing a coronapas or corona passport.
It's a digital app on your phone which shows whether you have had a negative test result within the last 72 hours, a certificate of vaccination or proof of a previous infection two to 12 weeks earlier. It can also be in paper form if necessary.
Digital certificates are seen as Europe's route out of lockdown, and the EU wants to have its scheme in place across all 27 member states by the end of June.
We are in talks with NHS and UK GOV - only a matter of time here
"Passports are here and CTEA has the solution and is the ONLY listed company out there to provide the level of quality standard a fully GDPR tested and trialled app can."
JAdam. You make many good points, but where is your evidence for your statement that CTEA is the "ONLY" vaccine passport app that is "fully GDPR tested and trialled app".
Every app that collects any personal information in the UK has to be GDPR compliant. It is not difficult technologically to be GDPR compliant, so there is zero advantage for CTEA over competitors by stating they are GDPR compliant - they all are!
Secondly, where is your evidence that the CTEA app is "fully tested and trialled". CTEA have not reported back the results of any trial that they have RNS'd about. And those trials were on their previous pre-vaccine app anyway.
Finally, you have mentioned several times that a huge advantage of the CTEA app is that it used blockchain. I have also stated a few times that in my view blockchain is not necessary for an app like this. That is backed up by the Denmark app, the EEC app, and all the International Travel apps (IATA etc). None use blockchain, and all are currently being tested in a live environment or already being used.
We will see a rise, just scared investor who have sold.

Denmark are kicking off the use of an app this week, Spain are looking to implement one to reignite their tourism industry and various articles i've seen suggest Europe will follow. It makes complete sense and gives people confidence to choose from a range of activities that have been heavily restricted in the knowledge they will be safe. The UK had a major economic advantage on Europe with early vaccinations but that will dissolve pretty quickly if we don't keep pace with a covid pass. I don't understand why Boris is delaying on this one and as you say JA CTEA are perfectly placed to support the roll out.
I personally feel that the argument of infringement on privacy isn't significant enough to not introduce a covid pass. The idea is simply to state what your status is with regards to the virus to keep others safe and prevent the transmission of the virus. Your personal details are secured and not passed on to anyone, the app absolutely has to be GDPR compliant. I really don't want to be at a big event with individuals that have the virus. And if there is a simple cost effective way of limiting and reducing contact between those that have been vaccinated, have antibodies or show a negative test and those that have the virus then why wouldn't you implement it?
People are aware, but I fail to see how one infringement of someone's privacy legitimises another. One could describe it as the salami-slicing of liberty; small incremental infringements that are brushed off by people like you who see them as insignificant. On their own these changes are small, but in aggregate they are gigantic.
Denmark will reopen with a corona virus passport app. All the remaining 27 states will be urged to follow suit. It is coming and should be obvioused.
