Although I suppose one way of looking at it is that if there is preparatory work going on we must be around about or close to financial close
I’ll be pretty surprised if we’ve been able to (and chosen to) start construction before financial close, but you never know!
i'm lovin mclovin ! great post mate. by the way are you a shareholder here? i sure hope so.glta
Torre, I recall hearing in one of the Podcasts that they weren,t going to issue as many RNS,s.so no surprise to me. We won't be getting a running commentary of progress. More likely just an update upon completion. Good to have on the ground update from MC.
Following this up, bottom right of page 10 of their latest presentation shows the current progress of works at Avonmouth.

Like I mentioned there is construction works going on along the whole of this estate.. but looking at the arial photograph on Electric Land's article about the site development, the field they show is the field directly behind my building merchants where work has begun.. It could be as simple as the contractors in at the moment are doing the basic infrastructure works for site access and so on. I only get to glance over as I drive past but I'll pull in next time.
Will update when I've had a closer look and will try and make contact with the site ops.
I agree Torreaguas
FIRST CONCRETE POUR SHOULD AND IS BIG NEWS
so work has started and our bod cant be bothered to tell us?
Mc ... how did we survive without you ....go for it..
MclovinGP, An excellent post. Thank you for the update. Greatly appreciated. Good to have ayes on the ground and know things are progressing.
I work in construction down the docks in Bristol and one of the suppliers I frequently visit is UCS on Severn Rd, Avonmouth, in the yard directly behind the 5 acre site Corcel have recently acquired, there's a lot of construction works going on down this estate especially with the Avonmouth Resource Recovery Centre soon to be commissioned. But from what I've seen the site Electric Land/Corcel have got, groundworks and foundation/concrete pours have already begun. I'll take a closer look next time I go by, I can probably talk to some of the site ops there and see what's going on progress etc.
yes good to hear
Hi Torr .
Wouldn’t know about Level 2 but not showing on LSE ? Cheers
This is well worth listening to again. 9,48mins in.
Avonmouth and Tring Road due for financial close with around £2.1m coming into Corcel and a free carry.

Torreaguas , Now the new owner has finally acquired the land I expect the lease to Corcel to be little more than a formality. Documentation should be signed off quickly so I expect an RNS stating Corcel have acquired the Burwell lease one day this week. The signing of the lease will push the SP up but folk being fickle they,d rather wait for the announcement and pay a higher price than buy in now while still cheap
In just 2 days time it will be exactly 1 year since
Corcel PLC 22 September 2020 : Scott Kaintz, Chief Executive Officer, commented:
"With the receipt of both planning and the grid connection, we are now able to finalise the land lease"
Can they avoid a full 12 months of failure to get this over the line? New Land Owner now in place. Lets have that Burwell RNS and finally get this SP moving.
i can still see it?
12 1.65 1200000 O 1.55 1.7 16:57:29 1,200,000
Which then begs the question why has it been removed ???
it did show on friday
Why is the 1.2 million buy late on Friday still not showing ???
I notice the close of trade huge 1.2 million buy on Friday still not showing here ? Was that a leaky-ship for an imminent good- news RNS today ? We will see !
Must get news this week on Burwell lease, no excuses now, the land has a new owner who is in the battery business. It should be settled this week.
Let's hope we see this over 2p for starters.......
