Abramovich and his best friend and business partner, Eugene Shvidler, have their fingers in many pies, including AFC Energy Abramovich invested £8.7million in AFC in 2012 and won a seat on the board for his friend Shvidler in return. I believe it was through something Erdvington Holdings or something like that
Is it me or are we seeing a bit of manipulation (today)?
OS was that Abramovich or Millhouse Capital that invested heavily in AFC?
Why is there a pre requisite that I should ? Most of my portfolio is in CPX
You don't seem to have posted a comment on AFC's board, ever.
PC01 What I did not say of course is that I am down on all those three stocks, so an increase after many falls is not difficult . One of those is AFC which I bought at 8p after Abramovich invested heavily, At one stage they were 57p but recently have been down to single digits . Lessons learnt big buys by IIs don't guarantee anything, AIM is a gamble and some companies spend years developing their "unique world beating " products before "going to market" if at all. Fortunately I made my money in the 80/90s and am only gambling with previous profits and money I can afford to lose. Doesn't stop me having an opinion though !!
As he only posts on CPX board, I would suggest he hasn't got one.
His portfolio is embarrassing....
Dear OS - I'm much more interested in your portfolio of equities that all rose by 12% on one day with the exception of CPX in one day...could you become my stock broker please. That's an amazing performance.
When have I claimed you work for Peel or a.n.orher?
If the cap fits though.
I get it that you don't agree with me but is any of this necessary or relevant or do you still honestly still believe I am paid by Peel to deramp
24 April Yet another meaningless post from Open I see. Why, at his time of life, doesn’t he just sell up. I wonder?
30 May (after I broke my neck) think I’ve hit a nerve hope it’s not one in you neck, honest.
5 July I for one don’t want to listen to your constant witless rhetoric.
6 July Then get out and sod off.
14 July For anyone who doesn’t know, Openspaces is our resident €W@¥?
19 July now fuzz off back to your hovel. Thanks in advance.
Still I am sure your mother still loves you
Lol, your having a laugh.
Claret ..When you replied to my posting about the general tone of postings recently you responded by saying “ Then P,,, off yourself”. I consider that a personal and totally unnecessary comment. If you don’t that’s fine. It does however seem that sometimes your only form of defence is attack and that weakens your credibility.
I’ve still waiting for evidence I’ve made personal insults against you.....
Well here's one reason. All my shares were up over 12% yesterday but good old CPX never lets me down with a small drop. We all share the dream, but sometimes at nearly £30k down I ask whether its a nightmare. Your only response is to say, shut up and sell then and never to voice any concerns. To me you don't live in the real world.
Have a break openspaces. If you have any reason to not believe in cpx. Bail out. No more trouble sleeping. Sell
If the factory is fully loaded, they have the hands full with daily operations and ramping up.
In case the demand is higher than your capacity, you do not need to do a lot of marketing. Thats the positive approach in case you have trust in the company as shareholder.
If not it might be time to to consider to step out and look for something which you gives more trust and less worries/stress.
Why wouldn’t AK be promoting 3v launch ? You would think he’s be gearing up for it surely...why wouldn’t he any reasons ?
In about 6-8 weeks we know who was right or wrong. Have a good weekend all !
Dream Dream Dream....Dream Dream Dream lalalalLalalalalala
Where is the personal insult? Calling you negative? Well that’s just a fact young man.
Thank you Surprised for your reasoned point of view and (ClaretJay please note) not a hint of a personal insult ...so refreshing
the trick on aim imo is to recognise the cycles..the sp will grow substantially at times due to where a company is in it's cycle..when inan R&D phase progress for new developments , opportunities into various markets will provide a lift, sometimes multiples of sp, equally when a company moves into a phase of production and new markets/products and the sp has settled back from previous highs opportunity awaits again to ignite the sp from it's lull......applying bank account/ftsee100 logic to aim shares is a recipie for dissapointment .......what part of a cycle do we see from here :-)
I refer you to my previous comments, get out. If you have no confidence why hold shares?
