About 9 or 10am tomorrow and we'll have a slightly better idea of what shenanigans are going on here, whether or not Lars has done the dirty or pulled off something incredible. I know where my money is - and there ain't anything I can do about it until the suspension is lifted. If it's lifted that is.
The broker can only release the shares if the investor/s who bought them are selling...would expect at least 4 investors taking up the Placing.
What's if they all go to sticky hands?
Few retail will probably be available....but its very possible a significant amount has been forward sold.
Might be suspended...but still the most exciting share I'm holding!
The votes have been cast and I'm sure in favour of the fund-raise as there are no other options. The big question is what will happen with the suspension. We may be in the position that the new shares cant be issued until the suspension is lifted, but the suspension cant be lifted until the new shares are issued. I suspect the broker will be waiting until the shares issue is passed at the meeting then will signal the FCA that they are ready to settle the outstanding buys from the forward sells. Its chicken and egg and whether or not this results in a huge share price jump remains to be seen but its certainly a real and exciting prospect.
Still vote no is the best you can do and ignore these new shell on here trying to manipulate your vote, you don't know if they are part of the scam they can be anyone.
Forward sold shares should not be allowed to vote this is the reason it suspended in the first is it not ?
There's a poster on here that's posting as though he's worried where this will open.
Wonder if he is one of those that have borrowed and sold as yet non existent shares?
I'd be worried too.
‘
My money on a rise to 0.4 p soon’
An 80% dilution and massive placing at .1p and someone posts the above?! Go figure.
Still suspended. What a surprise.
The technical aspects about the oven is good into. Thanks for sharing that.
Good point. But why he didn't buy into the placing at 50% less then?
Placing at 0.10.
He bought pre placing circa 0.05-0.10.
Without his buying the Placing would have been less than 0.05 probably.
The fireworks will start when the customer for the small oven reflow capable supercaps is revealed...imo.
End of year...
I smell a bone here. If that is the right phrase.
So he buys to average down before a placing that must know is about happen? It doesn't add up.
These new placing shares have gone to Continental.
Sydney, Australia - February 23, 2022 - CAP-XX Limited (LSE:CPX), the leading manufacturer of ultra-thin prismatic and high-power cylindrical supercapacitors, announced it has signed a Sourcing Agreement with Continental Automotive GmbH, a Tier 1 automotive supplier, to provide CAP-XX DMT220 prismatic supercaps for one of Continental's key automotive programs. The Sourcing Agreement for this design win covers the expected volumes for the model years 2024 through 2030.
If Cap-xx went into administration it would leave Conti in a bit of a pickle.
A Tier 1 automotive supplier supplied by a company with a £3m mcap....seems ready for some serious bags to me.
And then BOOM at the end of the year....all good here.
Unless he has bought more via the placing, he needs 0.43 p to get his investment back.
0.43 p is also the equivalent price of the share before it dropped on the now resolved Tesla issue given the new number of shares.
My money on a rise to 0.4 p soon
It will be clearer next week I guess. Who took the placing?
Are you talking about Mr Cooley? I never understood why he bought before an obvious placing. Makes no sense?
If I was going to buy 11% of a plc, I'd speak with the CEO first and get the full picture.
I remember that well made a few quid on it.
They said they would let it play out but then suspended the share and eventually the shares got issued and got the mates a get out.
A lot of "ifs" there....
I believe they have been forward sold hence the ongoing suspension. Would love the Company to cancel the Placing and say they have a CLN or another alternative.
But the Placing will happen....and both the company and brokers will get their get out of jail card.
Will be wiser in a few days.
13000% would be nice!
If they’ve been forward sold which is illegal , they run the risk of the books not balancing if they don’t come out of suspension. The shares will not be admitted unless the vote is positive and it has to come out of suspension for them to be admitted to market… if they come back to market and there is a no vote but the shares have been forward sold then does anyone remember NEW. Talking 13k % as the market tags on to the situation. Ie the forward sold shares have to be bought back in order to settle the books.
I took a 5k total punt in this the day before suspension, managed at 0.098 a share, I didn't know it would be suspended, I put 5k in the firm knowledge I either lose it all or at least double it, I'm now going for the latter.
Company not at fault for suspension. Managed a 2m raise beforehand.
Can see this coming back strong with a few announcements.
Sydney, Australia - April 18, 2023 - CAP-XX Limited (LSE:CPX), the leading manufacturer of ultra-thin prismatic, cylindrical, and Lithium-Ion supercapacitors, announced that Continental Automotive GmbH, a global Tier 1 automotive supplier, has granted the PSW (Part Submission Warrant) to CAP-XX, following the Company's successful completion of Continental's PPAP (Production Part Approval Process). The two companies previously signed a Sourcing Agreement for CAP-XX to supply its DMT220 prismatic supercaps in the volumes needed from 2024 through 2030 for a key Continental automotive program. CAP-XX has now completed the stringent quality audit for this agreement.
Note the lack of replies on that. Most of these guys have no clue what it takes to be a tier 1 supplier. It takes every engineering and logistical hoop imaginable. They also look at the capitalization of the supplier. That contract signed means a lot. I feel we hear about that soon.
Working with brokers in my opinion.
Then you can ramp away
