Maybe they heard me...
It will be interesting to see what they have planned here, there are no real genetic offerings in this space and perhaps they are focusing on fertility based genetic testing?
Actually I like this alot.
If that is the case then I think they have missed the boat. In terms of companies involved with Covid there are many out there so competition would be very fierce. As far as their pregnancy testing is concerned we are totally lacking any updates or even a mention so I can only assume they cant get it off the ground or sell in any numbers.
So guess that confirms the pregnancy route to commercialisation is dead and now the new avenue of home DNA testing in unveiled. More dilution with no accretive value. AIM and its syphoning of funds for lifestyle companies.
Think we can now class this as a Covid stock, only positives from here on in!
Worst share I have ever been involved in, embarrassing non updates. Took the cash and done nothing. In agreement Sanibel
None I think. Its been a disaster of a share. No information on sales or enough regular updates for us shareholders who have funded this company with our hard earned cash. What the heck are they all doing ?
Where are the orders or contracts ? Shareholders are not treated here with the respect they deserve. If they need more cash they certainly wont get any from me I think its curtains
I've been holding this for almost 4 years now... and sitting at a big loss. At these levels you might think it can't get much worse... However I'm struggling to find reason for hope. Can anyone provide any reason why this might turn a corner?
I was suckered in here after the RTO - it was about 20p and now 0.8p all they do is raise money and cant seem to increase sales.
Management get paid to much.
Its a nice lesson in my PF at about 80 percent down and that was after averaging down. I have written this off as another shocking RTO. Who knows one day I might get a bit of money back or it delists. Just checked it is 0.71 to sell my holding.
Someone's buying up.
Is there news incoming I wonder??
. . . how good the new website looks ?
. . . and the excellent price positioning ?
It's been a while since I last looked at CPT despite having a holding from the 4p placing some years ago. I'd written this investment off, but only now, this past week, re-looked at their business module following change of direction with the new top female management - and it looks very good indeed.
Others have questioned their concerns on re-branding and whether mylo would achieve good ranking in google for example - but it does - although they are also paying at the moment for name placement in Google ! But even so, they've cleverly changed their products domain to myloworld.com which I believe is one of the key factors in website ranking.
The new kit is supposedly on sale price from £149 inc vat to £99 inc. To my mind this was always where the price should be to get something so novel off the ground - by all means rely more on follow-on sales for the Luteinising Hormone and Pregnancy test tabs to make up the margins.
Reading the website text and blog seems very empathetic and if the rest of the business is as equally well done then there's every chance they can at last get this business moving forward at the pace it deserves.
Cash at 2019 y/e was £620,000 and they raised £1.9m in April so finance is taken care of this year and at these lower product price levels sales volume should now be increasing. I have no knowledge though as to how the BOOTS sales are going - making enquiries at various local stores got me nowhere and I'm hoping this it' online sales that are leading the way. I would expect to hear soon how the first half has traded. But right now, I'm much more optimistic that a share re-rating is possible and we'll recover some of the historic sp lost ground.
As far as I can tell, Concepta has a unique product here in both its technical prowess and now it's very competitive price structure. If they get the press momentum going , then at these prices the product should fly.
The name clearly does not make a happence of a difference here its all downhill.
News flow and hard data is terrible.
It may not be spelt the same, but could be confusing when spoken about. Although they both could influence blood sugar levels .... lol

The life is being sucked out of this slowly......definitely now positioned for a long term hold!
They put a message on the website asking for their customers patience while they get the re-branding right across everything. So they will get the actual devices saying mylo eventually.
But the device image does not reflect the re-brand?.
The new website is live now. Looks ok, but I'm still not overly struck on the new branding
Hopefully, the rebranding will be the start of a turnaround. There's a bit more info in the agm presentation uploaded to the cpt website
https://conceptaplc.com/component/rsfiles/download?path=Presentation%252FAGM%2BPresentation%2B020720%2Bv1.pdf
Version 2 looks to have expanded test capability. Fingers crossed cpt can sell a few of the current version in the meantime!
Not posted a lot here but been a shareholder for a while now, long enough to be sat on a loss :-D
I like the new name, its a clever split of the My Lotus branding into something more personable and I'm guessing a play on Milo so gives it a persona (oh excuse the pun there linking it to another well known fertility brand!). In consumer products this is important and I think it shows the Companies reflection on how to market this product and make it stand out.
I bought in at about £2 so a long way to go here, one to keep tucked away and look at periodically. Technically a superior product which is what I normally invest in, time will make this good I'm sure if that.
So we have a shorter product name big deal is that really going to make a significant difference ?
No information on sales. No information on targets.
They might have reduced costs but where are the sales ?
I guess today's RNS news was what caused the big buys a few weeks ago. Slight uptick in SP today
My lotus to be known as mylo. Not sure if I like the new name. If you Google mylo, it's not going to pop up with our product first is it? Just a load of famous people called mylo.
They've also moved to Cardiff to save costs and are working on another device by the sounds of it - not sure how that will differ from 'mylo'.
Hope this new boss knows what she's doing!
I'm not sure why they released today's RNS to be honest. It doesn't add anything that wasn't in the final results RNS the other day.
Not impressed. Lots of nice talk and wording but lacking in facts and substance.
