Thank you does that mean we could see our shares for £3.50 p each.
It’s share consolidation- 3.5p is now £3.50
Is the share price really £3.50p+
I have heard that CPP are planning to consolidate all shares very soon. Is this true and is it good or bad news for shareholders?
Everything looking very positive for this bunch so should see this start to rise from here. Will be interesting to see how SP goes from here which should be on the up.
Nice bit of news, looks like its going to take amazing news to see this share move
CPPGroup PLC - Chair Richard Lapthorne buys 2.0 million shares at 4.09p, worth GBP81,800, on Thursday. Now holds 6.7 million shares, 0.8% of total.
Spread will tighten markedly once the share consolidation of 1 : 100 takes place after voting at AGM on 28th May
Saw their RNS this morning and thought I would check back in as have sold out already. Issue remains the same problem here as I reported before.....the spread is absolutely shocking! Just be aware of the scale of the increase in price you need just to break even when selling. If you still buy then VGL and I hope it works. I just do not understand why this always has such a terrible spread.
It’s nice they have profit - taken a while but big business increases here. Onwards and upwards hopefully!
Good set of results which was expected. Bought some whilst at its low point and will just continue to hold. I was influenced by the director buys which is always a good signal.
I haven’t seen 34 trades for a long time! Maybe news on results, I think they delayed them 2 weeks which would be this week - GLA
Tomorrow could be the big day! Always due around this week. Fingers crossed all is good. Stay safe everyone, horrible time’s at the moment, health is far more important than this trading milarki
It would be foolish to discount the effect that the corona virus could continue to have on the markets, but so far this company has been largely untouched by it, and sentiment overall seems to be improving now that oil prices are beginning to steadily rise again, which seems to be the benchmark. I increased my holding a few weeks ago when the price to buy was 3.6pence and it is now 3.8pence to buy and the annual results due at any time. Could we see a doubling of the price on good news? . who knows for sure, but the indicators for good news as I have already mentioned appear to be very favourable based on company information released throughout the last twelve months. Therefore I am holding firm to my personal belief that good news is just round the corner and if the worth of my holding gets a knock back from either the virus problems or unexpected bad news from the results, or both then I am willing to take the hit and dig in for the longer haul recovery. I have always been aware o f only buying stock with what you can afford to lose and I have never waivered from it. That said you only make a loss if you sell at a loss rather than digging in for the revival. All my own ramblings as always and not to be used or acted upon as if they were based on anything other than my own opinion.
I have never understood the relevance of the spread when you can still make a profit. If you had bought in rather than sat watching this share recently, you would already have been able to sell at a profit. Also with the yearly results due this month I cant think of a better time to take a punt on the results being extremely favourable this year. Nothing over the last twelve months leads me to believe this company will not be showing a healthy profit and so far I have not seen any posters on here disagreeing with that, and would welcome comments from other investors if I have overlooked anything which would sway my belief. As always it is only my own personal judgement on information available to all by this company and not to be assumed as fact or acted upon in any way. Once again good luck to all long term investors.
I watched this one for a while but the spread is crazy. There are big drops on now news. Maybe this time there will be some positive fireworks....but for any new investors just be careful with the spread.
Just topped up
gone nuts something is obviously good news
I hope so, I’ve been here for many years, would be nice to see a turnaround now. Well over due! Good Luck All
results due in around 3 weeks and I cant see any reason why they will not prove to be very good. Good luck to all long term holders
looks like one punter has bought 750000shares in three tranches for close to 30.000 pounds. Every day I feel more confident about the year end results due next month.
The “ Momentum Investor’ gave the stock a “buy” recommendation at the weekend
Someones having a stock up - maybe a nice year end result due next month!
If you do not need the money today just sit on them.
No point binning them after being so patient.
Re Yorkshireman - how close you are with your comment
Other than that, can all the great PR the company spins out push the share price up. Albeit given just how tightly held the shares are , I wonder if they ever will move. I am sitting on a 60% loss and keep being tempted to dump them - ruins the performance of my portfolio, but I will kick myself if they ever get taken over.
