34 million taken up ,100 million shares short and the reason is along with confidence it is of course Parsons and his name and reputation.
One can wonder if he actually has a clue that his name is a curse to any investment he is involved in or does he just blame it on sentiment everytme as he once told me ,its sentiment Mr **** ,
Well yes of course it is Parsons and that sentiment is the way you have behaved with Sound and Echo and Coro and pretty much every other company ,what is it you dont understand about the word reputation
134 Million Shares available in the Open offer. PI`s only taken up 37 Million Shares. Not what you would call a vote of confidence in the management. The expression "Once bitten, twice shy" comes to mind.
Agreed Mr Knife but the info and guidance you kindly gave the individual, male or female ,would of been far more efficiently absorbed if it could be referenced to another source just as credible and not from a BB
But gamblers annon could be also contacted for guidance as with anything out there that has Parsons name on it you have better luck platting fog than investing for long term with that individual but if you are looking at AIM for long term then its a sad game from the start
Morning Sund4. I don't think Mr Gillray does any self-harm by asking for advice but as you point out self-medication is best. The ones that think they know it all already are probably on the way to the poorhouse. The open-minded have some chance as they stop and ask for directions.
You can trust some posters and not others and BBs are an essential part of the schooling of investors. The warnings on JP are sage indeed but ths share may work out or may not. All part of weighing up whether to invest or not. Even borken clocks are right twice a day.
Though I put in a nominal amount myself here I will be very surprised if the placing is even moderately supported.
Excellent advice and explanation for Mr Gillray from Mr Falling Knife he was most gracious and helpful ,( are you really basing your investment decisions on what you read on a BB ) ,
Buy a book on Investment, make sure you have some inkling on what placement is and what it is intended to accomplish ,whats dilution, whats a split and whats a consolidation, whats a spread ,etc etc
Theres lots of whats out there Mr LilliGray but concerning this share ,well one name describes and encompasses its future and that is Parsons , if hes involved which he is then its as dead as a beaver hat .
Afternoon LeeG. It is dilution of your holding so you don't lose completely. You have 3 options.
A) Do nothing- Get diluted and the value of your holding falls
B) take up your entitlement No dilution but you pay extra to stand still. And you have to factor in price rises falls due to the placing
C) Apply for excess. Apply for more shares as others might not take up the offer for financial reasons or lack of faith or inertia.
Each individual circumstances vary and no advice intended but as a general guide:
If you have lost faith in the investment then option A
If you have some faith but not much and the means to subscribe then Option B
If you think this is the bottom and have the means then Option C
Got an open offer on this yet I can't do anything. Can any one give some advice on what all this is, what will this mean, already lost about 90% of my initial investment in this company.
Obviously I'm very new to investing.
I'm new to the whole investing game and have just gotten an open off of 1500 shares @ 0 from Coro try I can't do anything.
Can anyone explain what is going on with this, will I lose my shares, I have 7000 in Coro bought at the times the price it is at just now.
Yes, stuff the offer. If the price goes down even more it may be worth a punt.
The19th - agreed. I ignored the offer and bought my top up at 0.38 two days ago.
WELLLLL let me think!!!!???
A chance to invest in a company controled by James Parsons???
Tricky investment decision to make, do I wish to put money into the hands of James Parsons?
NO NOT NOW - NOT EVER IN ANY COMPANY HE HAS ANY INVOLVEMENT WITH.
Rinse and repeat that one!
Gasbag
Just got my open offer invite through..Whoopee! Now let me see, where is my calculator..lol
Not for the faint hearted ... it’s a no from me !
