I assume someone wanted the share price cheap which is why it went down a lot. As for the lic, everyone is affected no only cora. the gov has put a hold on renewing and granting licences until they sort out their internal gov problems. they will resume soon. My only concern is will cora have enough money to take them to production. They may need to borrow a few millions more.
Stocktow, thanks for the name of the trading platform.
For F**k sake you can buy Cora shares anywhere, the point is no ones buying any at the moment, that's why I'm ****ed off, its been on a free fall for the last 12 months or so because some well paid geezer at Cora forgot to apply for the permit/ licence.
I'll fin join there admin team an sort it out
Get a move on Cora
Ffs
I bought mine on Hargreaves Lamsdown
I have tried capital.com, it was one of the lse recommendation but cora is not in there.
Humm.
You mean like Tekeledogou? Which is neighbour to hummingbird Which is within 5km trucking to Hummingbird? Which means acvording to mali mining code they dont need to build a factory if within something like 5km. I know that place, my friend has 15% of that permit and Coragold hold 85%. Do you mean Cora should be concentrating on Tekele first?, make the money there and then invest in sanakoro properly? I know cora is still working on Tekele and the deposit there is very good. My guess is about 200,000oz min. Coulf be up to 1Moz. Burt should know what he is doing, he built hummingbird, i think.
Hmmmmm, there's me thinking mining could be done and dusted in a few months, silly me.
Lol , the gold will have value with high enough spots to right people.
A few extra years of vision isn’t for everyone, management or shareholders in this case.
Yep this isn’t a potential 10x situation, we move on for
now.
Thanks for dropping in Hmmmm, and informing us on how Cora have messed up, why don't you email the CEO of Cora and tell him what's what, Burt or Burk I think it is. Email him @ plenty of jobs for the CEO merry-go-round aka I'll mess up here and me bezzy mate Giles will sort me out with another top job elsewhere.
You need more friends Hmmm if you have time to write on a BB you have no shares in mate
I’m not a shareholder Cora, but am of Hummingbird.
It appears Cora have taken the wrong route to production.
On face value they should prove a resource in proximity to another producer(hummingbird or otherwise) and use a tolling arrangement to generate $$ flows.
Then attempt a major mine.
Only value here is if another producer in proximity does the work on it with an elevated spot price.
No worries Arry, not much else happening on this BB, or this company to be fair.
Feel like the Board has took its eye of the basics to be honest.
One for the bottom draw I'm afraid, maybe my grandchildren will benefit
Good luck anyway, my old mucka
:) Paris1981 thanks for the reply.
Iike the way you wrote "safternoon", you had me in stitches and probably pass on Del boy tho he means well.
But yep, i always put things out there incase it triggers a interest
Arry, it's Del boy here, let me see if I can shift some of them tins of grey paint Monkey Harris sold me an I'll get back to you. Should have that $5 Mil to you this safternoon, you know it makes sense.
Failing that Arry nip down to my brothers Rodney, his bird Casandra works in a bank, she'll be able to sort you out Arry.
Comedy gold Arry, anyone got 5 mil spare reading these BB and want to part with it to a total stranger, lol
Good luck
Does anyone here know how to raise 5mill$ for drilling to prep for exploitation? 400k$ on initial research has already been performed and the results from the Lab is fantastic. The Next step is rc drilling which costs about 5million$ and I am open for anyone who would like to partner this. Location is the Yanfolila belt in Mali.
The SP drop on this share over the last 18 months or so has been staggering, 17.2p down to 3.7p.
Shocking really, what are the board going to do about it.
Week on week just drifting down.
Frank Lampard could mange this company better than the current incumbents or is that incompetents
Anyway come on Cora get shift on with that license/ permit
Hello, Am i hearing you right?.Are you saying its better for us to get our own permit? As far as I can see, chinese and russians are doing their own thing the Malians are sensible enough. A few months ago i spoke to mali dmgn land and mines about acquiring a permits, its easy.
Yes. You need license in place before exploitation in mali. Mali gov has put a freeze on permits. So changing permits from exploration to exploit could cause delay.
Agree with you Tony and whilst an introduction of shares will dilute PI's holdings, it's encouraging to see the company making these moves, to make a pathway for production and revenue in years to come
Good news - this will all go to building the mine - opencast, lots of gold
Good to see it completed.
RNS - fund raise completed, as easy as pie.
I assume this raise means dilution for existing shareholders , is the raise good or bad news for us?
Thanks for the input guys, if they've held since 2017 then they are heavily down on their investment
As some insight I feel it may be an audit oversight as Cora's website currently lists them as a holder but its been updated today. I feel sure they weren't listed on the site before but could be wrong.
My research did show them taking up that stake back in 2017 as part of the Hummingbird asset merger.
Jaybike - I've not come across this before, so can't say. I'd guess similar to you, that this must be related to the recent raise, and that there will be another notification related to this one in due course. Alternatively, it might be something that has come out of a share audit/book keeping exercise, also related to the raise. I've certainly not come across this holder before and I did a quick search through the notifications in 2019.
Legalwolf you appear knowledgeable, I wonder if you might have an opinion as to why an RNS lands today noting a companies position in Cora from 2019 ?
I'd find it more concerning if it was a historical sell TR1 I just find the timeframe and timing rather odd. Could this be because there's about to be a further one resulting from the recent raise I wonder ?
And anyone else knowledge/ experienced in this sort of activity obviously.
4 years is a considerable time to not getting round to declaring something?
