We tested the support of around 0.30p many times this week, agree Bob next week pivotal but I am expecting a nice bounce - purely based on the buys still out weighing the sells and the pattern of this share.
Further to the mystery of Art's whereabouts, I note this passage from the MD&A:
"Senior management and strategic corporate functions are performed by COPL’s head office in Calgary, and
geological, geophysical, engineering, accounting and administrative functions are performed by COPL Technical
Services Limited. Some technical and projects related functions are provided by COPL UK. "
Since Senior Management is mostly Art at this point, I would hope that he is not living abroad and remoting in. That would be hard for me to process.
I also notice this nugget:
"COPL Ontario was incorporated on December 15, 2017 for the purpose of an anticipated operation in Canada; however, an acquisition project was not successful. "
Bugger drilled a duster in 2016, and more than a year later he was wasting shareholder money on failed acquisition projects. Rather than pushing through the one project that could keep the company alive.
When he had to dip into his personal kitty to float the place in 2020, I bet he wished he's been a little more focused on the prize back in 2017 and 2018.
Actually big volume today. 2 days' in 4 hours' trading: Not too often we cross 1MM bought.
If we get to 2MM I'm going to say that something is up.
5MM = leak. Long way to go before that happens of course.
Don't know (or care) where Art is, but I know that his RNSes hit SEDAR in Canada a long time before the red bubble arrives up top of the LSE page.
Almost all of his volume is done in the UK, but he still puts his news out on the CSE first. And seemingly on Calgary time.
Not sure if that's relevant, or if it's just a sign that Cathy is domiciled in Canada?
Wherever he is, I bloody hope that Art is spending 20 hours a day on Zoom -- up to his ears in well design and service company negotiations.
If spends his days idly sipping Irish coffee while hoping the PSC comes through like I do, he can please refund his salary to shareholders.
After all, we pay him a lot of money to be productive all day, every day. And see precious little evidence of it.
Is Art in Calgary? Anyone know where he is now?
Probably nothing, but there is loading going on in the colonies today.
Has been quiet for most of September, but today not so much. It's not a flood, but not a trickle either.
Buys coming from a variety of sources.
It's hovering around 30.
Next week will be pivotal
Yes that is a exactly what happened newbie.
At these levels, if you are a believer, fill your boots.
Need a lot sorry
Newbie 4 billion shares whats the issue when RNS lands you struggle to buy fact. When share price is 0.29 or whatever you a lot of shares to trade take a look at syme they have 32 billion.
If you were not able to buy at 0.599 at that time, you would be very happy now. Are you even serious? we have almost 4billion shares and say couldn't buy when it spiked. haha
I know Charlie, last time on agreement RNS it shot up to 0.599p rapidly but the problem was that you couldn’t buy a bean.
That’s the gamble when you hop around looking to get back in, when you finally manage to get in you end up being spiked,
It’s very interesting to see to see so many sellers getting flushed out at these levels.
Great support and holding around the 0.3 very well, going to be very interesting when News land and PIs are scrambling to get back in.
What’s also interesting is the amount of sells at a set level looks like the MM could be dropped the SP to take stop losses out.
Just think it’s crazy to hold this long or buy in in anticipation of news then sell on Q2 update RNS when news flow isn’t late and can drop anytime.
Like the fact that I’m holding also like the fact that this company is on two markets and loves that afternoon RNS to cover both. Should catch a few napping when it does drop.
Defiantly found the bottom so only one way to go from here folks .......... GLA
