I thought the gentle selling response to omicron was basically proof of value. Now we're in a period of uncertainty and I don't think everyone's rushing to buy penny oil stocks given what covid did to oil prices last time, but the balance of probability is still that omicron won't be a complete disaster, though of course it could be.
I don't think there's any way to spin the protracted work on the well bore as positive, and I would assume that a lot of money has gone on this well so far so it is important. Most things that ceos or lse posters see as positives seem to have about a 1 in 5 chance of going right!
Production increase through miscible flooding underpins the future value of the company though.
As said NO VOLUME one way or the other

Well said wookie, it is after all a pilot development vertical well , the real deeps wells with be
focused , directional , Horizontal wells , for a given layer , once all the data built up , via more
stepping out production wells for Shannon , drilling deeper to check for secondary and tertiary
targets analysis , added to new/historical seismic
The fact the development vertical well , could now also produce at a decent rate , why complete
otherwise, is in itself a bonus to funding , with 3x costs recovery , before anyone else gets a piece
of the pie.
As it was designed as a development not a production well, bodes well , as they are making so much
effort to get the completion done, would have to think , the flow rates seen during testing , make all
the effort and added costs, worthwhile. GLA
:))
Regards to cementing, I don’t have a lot to add, I’ve only monitored cementing operations subsea with ROVs etc and there’s just so many factors, unless you have all the geo data and progress reports / analysis it’s best just to let the lads do what they know.
Rest assured they’ll want it to do well, but it’s not like everything depends on this one drill anyway!! if it does go wrong it’ll only make the next easier most likely. Problem is we don’t have the data to speculate so it’s just a case of leave them to it.
Nothing to see here , until Arty finds his pen again, basement volumes for the first 3 hours.
keeps this snail pace and a near the top , of the low volumes table , is on the cards
465,730 the current mark.

Edit. Delete My. Predictive script is a pain
Tiburn answered my perfectly as you well know yet you persist in trying to spin it negatively.
There isn't much to talk about until we get a further update so stop trying to create issues that don't really matter that much
The man is,entitled to his opinion Jamie just because you think you rule the roost on ADVN it does not mean you can do it on here
Carry on LB you have fellow COPL investors interests at heart
LB. We are waiting for the coded negatives to stop. I still feel you are reluctant to get rid of all those different hats to suit your current purpose. Stop the Psychology 101
Most expect?
How do you come to that conclusion?
Maybe the board has gone quiet it doesn’t mean PI’s on here have sold…maybe there isn’t much to talk about?
Although you always seem to find something to.
I suggest you spend the day talking to yourself.
Morning Tiburn, I was speaking to an O&G person over the weekend and they said that our current cementing issues could also mean it’s a Gusher.
Any thoughts?
LB by your own admission you know little about the technical aspects of the o&g sector - that includes the remedial cementing which your assuming to be a vast problem and insurmountable.
Its not at all, if it was they would have likely said nothing on this aspect and just told us when all possible fixes were exhausted, including sidetrack, and they lost the well as too uneconomic to remedy. This is not the case, yet your making out it is likely
Even if this well was lost despite all measures - its irrelevant strategically, all this well does is point the way for the next 12 drills planned.
LB quiet because none of us feckin knows.
Apart from you who says its bad news.Shut up for 5 mins
December should be a decent recovery month for us and hopefully we'll have a very strong 2022 as after all it's an incline asset which is rare.
Morning all.
The sooner we get a positive update on production and /or Nigeria the sooner we'll get moving again.
Bring it on Art
Not for me, I am seeing 10 trades, 5 buys and 5 sells.
Bid going up with the sells.
Looking good.
Morning all, start of another week, let’s see where we end of.
L2 opening slightly blue on 0.46% up.
