Thought I would drop in been busy with the new project in Thailand.
Fantastic to see the figures from the FD reserves. As TradingLad points out you can’t just make stuff up and feed it to the market, secondly in Arts interview I make note to the comments referring to the figures and him nearly falling off his chair.
Thirdly as TradingLad will be aware as he is also in the industry a lot of these reserve figures are often played down and in some cases company’s see up to X3.
I was very happy to see the drop and load up again sub 19p.
What a lot of PIs don’t understand is that in early stages the SP will fluctuate on share flipping from raises and PIs trading in and out.
Most PIs will have sold as they cannt hold longer than a few weeks without getting itch feet.
If you have done you research like many have here you will realise that SF and CC are producing with additional wells been drilled.
We have an offer on the table for Cuda and will know if it’s successful or not inside the next 2 weeks.
This increases our holding to 85% and 100% of FD.
I am also confident that the taps will be opened up significantly in the near future.
We have infrastructure in place and a lot of management/directors with valuable hands on experience.
FD reserves will be getting reviewed and I expect these figures to be updated in the Ridder Scott report. I am expecting to see this with the Q4 accounts inside the next month - IMO 13-14 Feb.
There is continuous heavy buying in the background I am expecting to see a TR-1 - 3% is approx 5.7m so we shouldn’t be to far off seeing who is loading up.
This was a fantastic investment opportunity with out FD, with it it’s become a once in a life time opportunity.
Ignore the daily SP it will arrive at its destination in due course. GLA

Yes 88e is a strange one. Several on here were in it during the Duster years yet back they come for perhaps more of the same.
Our asset is so much larger yet we have this moderate Mcap.
It does give us the chance of a lifetime to load up so in a way it's going to help a load of ordinary punters get Rich

For sure my biggest holding ever, fingers X it comes forth in time, just home from nice evening out on Costa blanca. Back to the UK next week.

I think you have entirely misunderstood what I wrote and why I wrote it. I am not here and did not post for a personal battle, simply to answer a question raised on the board and to provide the whole spectrum of risk.
You certainly do seem upset by that and I am sorry I seem to have trodden on your toes.

YM how ironic is it that 88e have a resource discovery priced in before they have started drilling for a target which is a multiple less than what Copl has actually discovered.

Copl operating on proven ground with this albeit unexpected monster find and a cap of circa £70m. (The market was not expecting this monster discovery) nothing priced in YET!

88e a much smaller target now has a cap of £375m and the drill bit isn’t even turning yet with a string of dusters to their name.

Waethergeek…the complications of that operation for Shell out in the deep blue yonder are immense.

Imagine how much easier and efficient financially it is for a discovery multiples of what they have if it was onshore as is the case for COPL.

Cawcaw, can’t disagree with a word of that. Same with any shares really if your using a BB to work out what the value should be / could be you need to be careful you are not part of the process of transferring wealth and not in a good way.

AJEP, I am perfectly chilled out. In 7 years I have never posted anything other than being chilled. I wouldn't still be in this share after 7 years if I wasn't chilled.
Yes you unwarrantly said there could be a worst case scenario of no oil. How can this be when they have been producing oil from this well for 90+ days? An absolutely bizzare statement to make.

There IS an oil discovery and the independent Competent Persons Report (CPR) will be an in-depth look at many things including but certainly not confined to; Reservoir description, Geology, Field Development Plan, Capital/Operating/Development & Production costs, In-place resource volumes, Production forecasts, Project Risks and plenty of Modelling.

The notion that a CEO would disclose to the market there is a discovery but not really mean it but just to prove he's mad also then engage a totally independent CPR to publicly tell everyone, including his peers throughout the oil world, that there isn't really a discovery. That would be........a fantastical insight into the mind of a deranged CEO. I don't think AM has quite reached that lofty accolade just yet.

Just in case you are wondering what sort of find, 1.9m barrels is, Shell spent 7 years and 15 million man hours to build this for a field with 650m barrels.

Short answer is anyone asking ANY of these questions needs to not invest in oil.

Or if you do choose to anyway, you must not risk more capital than you might on a drunken weekend at a holiday destination.

As anyone investing in oil without fully understanding the concepts (and the stakes) is at very real risk of the same ending.

(That being waking up face down, without your money or most of your clothes, fighting an increasingly uneasy feeling that the metal surface you are lying on is a tailgate and the taste in your mouth is a hastily cut pine switch...and the sickening realization that the whole thing was your idea.)

Seriously this stuff is on Google. Don't ask people on a chat room who profit if more people buy shares.

End of the day it’s all about getting this stuff to the surface, refined and to market. We are already doing that, and the goods are flowing. And we just found a lot more :)

We just need confirmation via the Cpr and it’s happy happy days indeed. once again sorry for my concerns re trading activity yesterday, it’s been a journey here.

do very well in 2022 is my prediction. Sit back enjoy the ride as if this went up 150% tomorrow or down 50% I would not be interested in doing anything with my shares, as I am going to make the assumption they will be much better off later in 2022

Come to the Copl bb and even tho a discovery3x the 88e click bait figures has actually struck oil of 1.9bn bbls and the oil is actually coming to surface without stimulation and tapped into production lines this is questioned to exist at all. Have to LYFAO here

YM, from what we know you are correct, for an exploration well this is exceptionally positive and I look forward to more detailed information, phuck knows when that will come knowing this outfit but if the get's me over the £mill in my ISA i'll be very happy haha
