Being £40k down, I would sign up for the No Win No Fee arrangement.
(I also do not understand the process in full), however Nothing to lose.....
Did anyone see our Ryan Gaffney ?. He was in disguise as a reverse Highwayman. Stealing from the poor and giving to the rich..I hope he sh#t himself on route.
What a delightful chap you aren't
COPL are bust .. Said that a year ago or 4 years ago a AIM dog to a FTSE DOG . Suckers RUS for the the suckers.
Probably because I don’t really understand the process
But don’t think we could win in the very long run
Why have you not signed up Bcarm?
not signed up, over £40k down i’ve had to sell all my holdings on more than one occasion over 5 years and the 7million i still hold are worth nothing,
not a great deal of happiness
life is a *****
RBM keep up the good work. As you say it’s frustrating, and I think a lot on here are venting their frustration at the wrong people. What we need to remember is Art and the rest of the BOD’s stole our money. RBM and his team are trying to get it back. (For all of us!) Let them get on with doing that.
As stated in our previous message, our legal action is being brought forward and you should all receive notification when certain things have been actioned.
As per Stas’s note, our actions are being watched and there is zero benefit at this stage to over communicate. Frustrating? Yes, but for us too, please understand that. However, this must be done properly, it simply cannot be rushed.
I would estimate the standard 25% deduction plus possible legal fees which hopefully may be recovered.
So I think we should hope to recover between 65 to 75%
If did win compensation could it be every thing we have lost or say 50 percent and were would that compensation come from
I never wish people ill. However, I take exception to these awful individuals. How they live with themselves I don't know. I will have a very big celebration with my family when these horrible people are brought to book and have a lengthy time in jail to look forward to. I suspect there will be hundreds of others doing the same thing. Fingers crossed our case is strong enough to warrant long long sentences and a healthy dose of compensation. Good luck to us all including our legal representatives.
Nothing happens quickly in the legal world. My opinion is the cag will have to wait for the final outcome first before making their move.
My view, I have full and complete confidence in the CAG and its legal representatives to be doing all they can to support ALL shareholders equally, and our unified aim. I will do all I can to support them up until the time I no longer need to as we have seen the culprits legally dealt with.
If the CAG are not posting here for a period of time, then I accept they have good reason to not do so, and actually all they need for the nervous is a placeholder post every no and then (we are continuing ....etc).
For what its worth, I consider that every posts placed here is read by the opposition, and that they will do everything they can to ensure they are up to speed with what we are doing, including trying to infiltrate this board and its members. In that respect, I wish to give them NO advantage, knowledge is power and if they have their knowledge AND ours, then they have advantage, I wish to give them NO advantage.
Millholland, Cowan, Richardson, Gaffney etc. all, including those sloped off directors, financiers and legal scum that seek to protect them, I do wish you all ill will, you are not deserving of any of the pleasantries of society after you have dealt such pain on so many innocent lives whose only fault was to trust you, justice will be served I have no doubt on that, none!
Whilst I appreciate the views stated in the last few messages. I am also well aware that without the CAG group I would be sitting here cursing but doing nothing but think, how did I get in this mess?
This must be a very fluid situation and needs hours of research with many twists on the way. I can be patient and wait for CAG to build our case. So basically saying i think we need a little more patience, this is the tortoise and the hare race. Let's get it right and water tight unlike our opposition who made arrogant errors on the way to this situation.
Anyone in London to see our sponsored runner today?!!

I understand the nature of what’s just happened, to a degree, but beyond that I am now at a loss as to what our intentions are for the future.
I am sure I speak for many when I say that I appreciate all the efforts that have been conducted by CAG. Many of us have contributed in the background as well as I am sure you can appreciate.
I also appreciate that this is a very complex situation and is very fluid, additionally I know you can’t reveal too much information on this board as Anavio representatives, Arthur’s representatives and Tom Winnifriths representatives are present and hidden in clear sight (as many others with clear agendas are also).
However I do think we have got to a point now where we need something concrete to at least base our thoughts on to form an opinion on what we (I) need to do on a personal level.
In short we now need some clarity as to what is happening.
I think it is too long to wait for another month for Zoom calls with Michael. I think now is the time.
I don’t want to appear unappreciative of the work you have done, I am most certainly not, but we need a stake in the ground now.

Lloydy that's exactly my view and the best post I've seen in months on here. The lawyers must have something on them else why take it up and spend hundreds of hours on a lost cause.
We need an update now nothing needs to be posted on here for the reasons you've mentioned above. We have submitted our details to RBM an update could be given via email or whatever but since submitting my details heard nothing. People have lost fortunes here and need to know now where we stand.
Ever since the first boasts about Nigeria coming to fruition the company financing and media has been carefully managed by Art and Ryan.
Need to raise funds? Release a mind blowing RNS then dilute.
Need to to stabilise the price? Massage the production values (Sept 21) to keep people in while those in the know clear the decks.
RTO? No suspension needed. Oh look suspended.
This was never going to work out fairly for shareholders. The shareholders have been completely and utterly ignored and used.
But there are laws about this. Long runs the fox.

Yep, the damage has been done.
The assets have been transferred to Summit for a pittance and they will sell them on to get their money back.
No way back from here, someone else will legitimately buy them and COPL shareholders are history.
Can't blame Summit, they just wanted their money back.
Rodney, sounds good but this process is done and dusted, I don’t see any way forward other than legals.
It's not over yet my friend. This week is important and there are realistic reasons to be hopeful. If things are not as we'd want this week them the legals look great. One foot in front of the other. Our oppo are rich people. But they can't thwart our resolve and grit. Whatever happens this week, we press on.
Several of us alerted FCA many months ago. Total waste of time. Not fit for purpose.Im unsure what they're up to now.
By ignoring genuine alertedand by so doing hoping to protect the Company's which fund then, they've highlighted their own uselessness.
Not only that, now thousands of investors know know they're a sham organisation and I believe, ultimately they've sown the seeds of their own destruction.
Good riddance
I did smell a rat 2 years or so ago with the pinnochio stuff spouted from the fall off the chair Fart . Got slated . Oh well move on just sorry for for the genuine investors who have been well and truly shxxfted . Good luck elsewhere Bill .
RBM You had mentioned a possible rescue /?refinancing deal, is that dead in the water now?
Saintnick, a good and no doubt accurate, though disturbing, summary.
